Choken, my piece of advice is to get there early if you can if you have general admission seats, the lines to get in get long about 20 minutes or so before they open the doors. And yes, I was going to pull the Trifecta, but I have a wedding in Cincinnati on Saturday night.

It's going to be Rikishi for gluttony. Even though RVD would be a blatant rip off of the RVD-Goldust feud, at this point on Smackdown why not?
-
Since it's going to be an IN Demand channel, how many hours of footage will they make available per month. Hopefully it's better than Comedy Central's IN Demand shitty 4 minute snippets.

1. I don't know about dissolve but I think they lose the belts back to Flair/Batista the Raw before Bad Blood. 2. My guess for Summerslam will be an EC match with Benoit/HHH/HBK/Orton/Jericho/Edge & JBL v. Eddy for the WWE Title 3. No I think he loses it and regains it at Summerslam. 4. HHH beats Benoit for the title at Survivor Series. 5. Jericho will yo-yo back & forth. 6. Eventually Eddie will wrestle the Undertaker. 7. Might as well put names in a hat for these two, lets say Eddie Guerrero v. Chris Benoit. 8. HHH v. Jericho or Edge 9 & 10. No idea. 11. Shelton may have an I-C title run, but he'll remain at about the same place he is currently. 12. Edge or Jericho. 13. Maybe for a match against the Big Show.

What about Wally Boy? You do also realize that the T-Wolves only have 4 players from last year's team right?

If you could put 12 single games on one DVD
Gert T replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in Sports
Actually Phil got fined after that game I believe. But anyway, why does no one whine about: Chicago 4, Indiana 3. Anyway, my 12 games: (No order) November 2002, Ohio State 13, Michigan 9 (Sure this wasn't the title game, but it was ironic that Michigan was the only team in the way of getting to the title game and Ohio State beating them after all the tries. Great intro video by ABC, very WWE-ish. November 2002, Cincinnati Bengals 24, Kansas City Chiefs 16 (Video would not describe the stadium experience. Chiefs 1st loss, Peter Warrick has the game of his life and at the end the scoreboard shows the Bengals in first place.) 1980, USA v. USSR Miracle on Ice (Even watching this 24 years later, to me it still seems like "will they actually hold on?". This game is right up there will Carlton Fisk HR how history makes it seem like the Red Sox won the '75 Series and the USA/USSR game was for the gold medal.) October 1956, NY Yankees 2, Brooklyn Dodgers 0 (I'd like a perfect game on there, and having one in the WS with I believe 7 Hall of Famers in that game.) May 1997, Utah Jazz v. Houston Rockets, Game 6 (No title for the Jazz, as this is as close as it gets, but a great game by the Jazz, as they were down 15 in the 4th quarter, and the 3 pointer that woke my parents up.) February 2004 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl (The notorious bad NFL exhibiton starts off great with a 90 yard TD pass, a blocked punt for a TD and a furious NFC comeback capped by an ironice ending as Mike Vanderjagt, with I believe 40 consecutive FG's misses to lose, don't remember the exact score, but both teams put up 50+.) January 1998, Denver Broncos 31, Green Bay Packers 24 (Great game and the Elway dive is a great visual.) January 2002, New England Patriots 17, Oakland Raiders 14 (Awesome visual, good finish, best field goal EVER made in NFL history to tie the game.) January 2003, Andy Roddick d. Younes El Anouyi (Roddick wins in 5 sets, with the final set I believe 21-19. The final set last 2 1/2 hours.) June 2002, USA 3, Mexico 2 World Cup Round of 16 (USA's biggest win in soccer history starts shockingly as USA storms to a 3-0 lead early and survives a late rally and no call on a Joe-Max Moore handball in the box on a corner. The rest of the world may hate us because of Bush and our "western way of life", but Mexicans hate the US National Team.) October 2003, Boston Red Sox v. NY Yankees Game 7 (Yeah I dislike both teams, but a great ending to a great series, Aaron F'n Boone!) And now for the obscure one, that was only on cable access: November 7, 1998, Dayton 43, Towson 42 (This was a football game that saw Dayton up 28-7 with 6 minutes to play and I believe 29 points scored in the final 1:50! This DVD is subject to change of course! -
Since he already had a T, I have no real problem with the ejection, but that was more of a reputation call right there. It was even an elbow, it was more forearm shiver and really not much worse than Wally's to Derek Fisher. (And Wally got his T for jawing with Gary Payton) Great shooting tonight by the T-Wolves.

Lakers played well, T-Wolves played tired. Game 2 should be closer. Hopefully game 2 will be more competitive (this game was close, but never felt like the T-Wolves were in it.)

Is it just me or did Borges look like Stephen Hawking the way he was sitting, looked too uptight. But I guess if he is the Devil, they he won't care about his image!

What I think, HHH beating Benoit at Survivor Series to regain the belt. I like the Jericho beating him as a face idea though, because even if HHH inserted himself back into the title picture, if he beat Jericho down the road they could set up another HHH-Benoit program based on "I've made you tap, but you never beat me for the title."
-
Was Flair workig on the knee though leading up to the frog splash? If so I guess its warranted. And yes I have seen the match, just not really given it much thought!
-
Yeah I think BATB 98 was Rey-Jericho which is on Rey's DVD. And I would settle for either Eddie-Jericho match from either the Clash or Fall Brawl. Wouldn't mind seeing Eddy v. Flair at Hog Wild 96 to see the BALCO transformation of Guerrero.

Dayton, OH taking the jump today from $1.89 to $2.13. I guess the boycott didn't work! Or maybe it did, hence the increase in prices.

I liked Clinton, but I really don't think you can judge his legacy yet. And isn't the universal health care in Canada free, but there's free, and better stuff for those with money? (Service-wise)
-
Absolutely. Seriously though, it is ridiculous, the Kings lost on the road in a Game 7 to the #1 seed. I agree with your previous comments, plus Brad Miller will have a better year after having another year under his belt. This team only loses Vlade (maybe) so they have a good shot again. And I love Karl Malone, but even if he pushes that "pencil neck geek" around, I still got my money on the geeks wingspan.

I can't remember Eddie choking against the Jazz since some teenager was airballing all of those shots..... KG is playing AWESOME tonight. 79-75 Minnesota with 44.6 seconds left, offensive fouls, turnovers, missed lay-ups, does anybody want to win?
-
In fairness predicting the Saints losing in December is commonplace! At least the Bengals one. That Jags game is a whole other bag. That was one of the greatest radio sound bites ever, it sounded like the color guy for the Saints was going to jump out the window.

2-0 Calgary, I am about 24 minutes away from going 0 for 3 on Calgary series predictions. I am the man.

Does anybody in the States know how much/what coverage we will get? I think in 2000, we had the semi's & finals on ESPN2, hopefully Fox Sports World picks up the games.

I don't think the Nets would win either, but I think it would be a lot more competitive this time around. Outside of having nothing on Shaq, they match up pretty well. They have good outside shooting and Martin and Jefferson can take it the hoop. Although, that may only work for one game, then LA would use the Tony Parker strategy. And there's no way LA keeps up with NJ's fast break. You have to assume K-Mart doesn't pull a Van Horn or more aptly, a Kenyon Martin.

I woke my parents up after that shot, although the roles were reversed in Game 4 when Eddie Johnson made that shot.

St. Louis Cardnials - In my lifetime, I would have to go with having a 3-1 series lead against the Braves in the 1996 NLCS, only to get blown out in Games 5,6,7. I suppose the 85 & 87 World Series should probably get votes too. Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Montana to John Taylor, with an honrable mention to last season's finale against the Browns, not a way to finish a storybook turnaround. Utah Jazz - MJ creating space on Bryon Russell to win the NBA title. To me it is just as heartbreaking the years after that knowing that Stockton would not get any closer than that. St. Louis Blues - Stevie Y from the blue line. From 0-0 to over in an instant.

I blame the school system. And here in Dayton, none yet.......
