  1. WrestleMania's a long, long way away. I think they aborted the storyline after all of the recent backlash over the fact it's just an angle, and WWE presented it as a genuine sale to Trump. The show was a lot of fun for me, I must admit. The LMS match was a good one, although a little predictible given how close we are to the next PPV. I was saddened not to see Kofi or MVP on the show, but they're on Superstars this week so no harm done. Would have liked to see The Hart Dynasty too but they had to build towards Legacy/Colons. I'm glad we got some more Orton/McMahon continuity too, would have been odd for Vince to be a heel and then back up Randy. Good ending to the show with HHH attacking Orton, hopefully this leads to Orton retaining the title this Sunday. Oh, and I marked out for Santino and Santina appearing at the same time.
  2. Ah ha. I thought this mini feud had ended.
  3. Definately. I believe Jeff is taking some time off following The Bash, I think he's cleared it with management, and it was leaked, so expect Punk to possibly retain if these 'rumours' are true.
  4. You've got R-Truth who could fill in for Hardy when he leaves, too.
  5. NoDQ.com > WWE Posted by Chris Kaufman on 06/21/2009 at 07:11 PM Former WWF star turned politician B. Brian Blair, age 52, was arrested today on several counts of child abuse following a 4 AM incident with two sons, 17 and 12. According to an article in the St. Petersburg Times, Blair got into an argument with his oldest son, shoving and punching him before locking him what was described as a "choke" that left his son with trouble breathing. The 12 year old then ended up being choked by Blair as well. There is no word at this time what led up to the incident. Blair is known in wrestling for being one half of The Killer Bees tag-team during the 1980's.
  6. http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-sn...2_5641717_n.jpg Above is an image taken after the service. Have to share it with you all because i'm so fucking proud of him. Edit: I'm, obviously, the second one in from the left.
  7. Today was my God-son's Christening. Fucking amazing day.
  8. Vince Russo does a run-in on Jarrett. Yes. And he's beating the crap out of Jarrett with a chair! He's got long hair! HE JUST PUT JARRETT THROUGH A TABLE! You know, for someone who didn't watch TNA in this era, this whole situation is dumbfounding.
  9. Here we are again, after a one week absence, TNA Epics is back on our screens. According to Foley, the whole episode is about Jarrett/Hogan.
  10. I saw some real glimpses of the old Joe tonight (Thursdays edition) on iMPACT! in the main event. Looked motivated and interested again.
  11. The 8 man tag match was hilariously awesome.
  12. No. She's out injured.. Neck injury.
  13. They seem to like Morrison. He and Miz were pushed all over all three shows for a long period of time, they were super over, in the right way, for heels. Morrison has it, some people think his interviews are a little too monotone and boring, but I think they fit his character perfectly. It's a shame that he's a babyface now, because some of his early ECW interviews were just classic. The Palace of Wisdom, things of that nature.
  14. I'm determined to make this board a success. Even if it's just 50% of its former glory.
  15. We don't get the show here til tonight, but i'm glad they're not forgetting Lethal and Val's history.
  16. No, it's not overhyped. I scored it roughly at **** (4). Pretty neat show in all, nothing spectacular, but the aforementioned match certainly made up for it. Edge sold the match perfectly, went from talking about Morrison being nowhere near his league to making Morrison look like a million dollars..
  17. Gotta feel for poor Sim. He wasn't at fault whatsoever for the Undertaker bump.
  18. That's strange you should say that. I'm not claiming there's any direct correlation of course, but the person that inspired this thread is also bi-polar.
  19. This is just the greatest video.
  20. Genuine question, it seems like a lot of bad luck occurs to those who genuinely don't deserve it. Does anybody else find this? Or do you feel it's spread out evenly around everybody?
  21. It's a good show tonight, i've just watched it. The first match had a great ending.
  22. I remember the same thing when Taz came into WWE back in 2000.. The main argument against him was his size, who'd believe him coming in and just suplexing the likes of Austin and HHH around? I'd simply not buy Joe beating the likes of Triple H and Chris Jericho. Although Jericho vs Joe is something i'd like to watch.
  23. I find it pretty hilarious that Edge is a 9 time World Champion already.
