  4. LMAO! Looks like Duncan has him locked in the crippler crossface.

  15. Does anyone have that Nash interview from a while back in full?
  16. If Savage omissions still surprise anyone, they really need to get with the program. Does anyone know for sure what the deal is? (No I won't mention That Urban Legend...) I'll try another theory besides "that urban legend" : Since Hogan and Savage hate each other, maybe Hogan got in Vince's ear and convinced him to "erase" Savage from history. Told him something like doing business with Savage would mean an end to their business relation. Since there's more money to be made with Hogan, Vince decided to go with it and agreed to never mention Savage again. I'm not sure, but I think Savage isn't even on the "Greatest stars of the 80's DVD". He's definetely not on the "Greatest Stars Of The 80's" DVD. As far as Vince and the WWE are concerned, Savage never existed.
  17. I'd love Maddux in Toronto(eventhough it won't happen). He's been bad but our rotation is in shambles after Halladay with Burnett, Lilly and Janssen being inconsistent and the #5 spot having a different guy every week. Probably wouldn't take too much to get him either.
  18. Like A Rolling Stone
  19. Anyone know naything about the guys Ottawa got back? I don't like this trade. we need to win now, not later.
  20. Great pick up for the Rangers. I really like what they've done this off-season and Shanahan adds to that, he should take atleast a bit of pressure off Jagr. Too bad the Sens couldn't get him for that price.
  21. Apparently, according to local rumors, Gomez for Havlat could happen any day now since Havlat is more expensive but will take a paycut to play with Elias.
  22. The roster player is Joffrey Lupul. Edmonton got raped, badly. Back to a non-playoff team for them. And at Yzerman retiring. One of my favorite athletes ever and he's from my hometown.
  23. Nash doesn't belong in the "clutch shooter" group. He's certainly a leader and a deservedly elite MVP-type player, but I don't remember Nash hitting too many memorable game winners like the others described above. Hell Wade and Lebron have only come into their own lately. You're forgetting guys like Iverson and McGrady, btw. I didn't really mean clutch shooter group. Clutch shooter and the guy who gets the ball then does what he wants with it are two different things. Nash might not take the shot but there is no doubt he has the ball and has the green light to shoot anytime he wants. The other 3, well obviously. Dirk, I don't know. He gets the ball but he seems hesitant when the game counts(atleast in the finals, no question he came up big the rest of the playoffs). Plus Avery not going to him is partly inexperience and partly the lack of confidence in Dirk(whether right or wrong). McGrady hasn't been out of the first round and has never carried a team to a playoff series win while I'd rank Iverson a step below those 4(and Dirk for that matter).
