Maybe it's not his past drinking problems, but just his overall attitude. If he can't take a couple of annoying fans and feels he needs to vent on innocent people, he shouldn't have even entered the WWE.

Is this going to be your first taste of IWA Mid-South? If it is I would recommend King of the Deathmatches '03 and Ted Petty Invitational '02 and '03. Their final two shows of '03, Stylin' and Profilin' and Winter Wars, were said to be very good as well.

-Rebel's Army (Greg Matthews and Rockin' Rebel) defeated Alex Law and Ricky Landell in 6:14. -Guillotine LeGrande, MANA, and Mega defeated Jack Victory, Jason the Legend, and Rapid Fire Maldonado in 13:12. -C.M. Punk defeated Greg Spitz in 7:02. -Christopher St. Connection defeated The Solution in 10:29. -Homicide defeated Yoshihito Sasaki in 11:00. -Jerry Lynn and Justin Credible defeated Low Ki and Spanky in 14:58. -Josh Daniels and Matt Striker defeated C.W. Anderson and Simon Diamond for the PWF Tag Team titles in 12:41. -Masato Tanaka defeated Steve Corino in 15:02. I found those results for the show Friday night in Pottstown, anyone have the results from last night in Viking Hall? This looks like it was a great show, but I think the other two shows World-1 is holding this weekend will be just as good if not better.
-
-Mercedes Martinez defeated Sumie Sakai
-
-B-Boy over Excalibur -Ruckus and Sabian over Chris Cash and Joker, Cash and Joker got into a fight after the match.
-
D.J. Hyde defeated John Zandig to win the CZW Heavyweight title. Don't know if I would put a whole lot of faith in that, but you never know.
-
I think it started at nine, but has been full of angles and crap.
-
It's nearly midnight here on the east coast, and CZW hasn't even gotten to H8 Club vs. Homicide and Mafia, the Fans Brings the Weapons match, or B-Boy vs. Excalibur if that is even still going to happen.
-
John Zandig got some kind of note while in the ring, said "I'll deal with this later," and walked backstage. I don't know what in the hell is going on!
-
Ok, Nick Mondo got inducted into the Hall of Fame after getting the Bump of the Year award. Hopefully, some better results will start coming in so I won't have to constantly correct myself.
-
-Sonjay Dutt defeated Grim Reefer to retain the Light Heavyweight title. -I guess Nick Mondo wasn't inducted into the Hall of Fame, instead he was awarded the Bump of the Year award, bullshit if you ask me.
-
Nick Mondo returned, and they are now showing a tribute video and inducting him into the Hall of Fame!
-
Pretty much what LucharesuFan posted, but hopefully I'll add more results to this list when I get them. -Scotty Matthews defeated Bounty Hunter, D.J. Hyde, and Jon Dahmer -Lobo is inducted in CZW Hall of Fame -Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz defeated All Money Is Legal and Cory Kastle and Niles Young -Rebel's Army and Nick Berk and Z-Barr went to a no contest -Jimmy Rave defeated Jimmy Jacobs and Joey Ryan -Nick Mondo returned and inducted into Hall of Fame, they showed some sort of tribute video for him!
-
Very early results as so far all I know is that someone won a 4-Way match, and B-Boy turned face and joined John Zandig, don't know about any other matches yet. I'll update this thread as soon as I get them. LucharesuFan is in the same chat with me, and it isn't looking too good as far as results go, and the attendance sounds like it may be suffering from the BSB stuff.

World-1 is holding their debut show tonight as part of a double-header with Combat Zone Wrestling, so I was wondering if anyone has an updated card for the show. I know they were supposed to have a show yesterday, but it was cancelled and I was wondering if that caused any matches to be added or changed for tonight's show? Here is the card that is listed on the World-1 site, but it hasn't been updated since the change in shows. 1. The Solution (Freelance) vs. Ricky Landell & Alex Law (WORLD-1 Dojo) 2. Rebel's Army (CZW) vs. CZW'S Mystery Tag Team (TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH) 3. Christopher Street Connection (JAPW) & Jason The Legend (UFO) vs. Guillotine LeGrande (PWF), Jack Victory (PWF), & Mega (ECWA) 4. CM Punk (ROH) vs. Rapid Fire Maldonado (IWA) 5. Low Ki (ZERO-ONE) vs. Matt Striker (Freelance) 6. Josh Daniels (Freelance) vs. Yoshihito Sasaki (ZERO-ONE) 7. Homicide (ROH) vs. Spanky 8. Extreme Horsemen Special: CW Anderson (MLW) & Simon Diamond (NWA) vs. Steven Corino (ZERO-ONE) & Justin Credible (Freelance) 9. WORLD-1 championship (Decision match): Masato Tanaka (ZERO-ONE) vs. Jerry Lynn (MLW) Can anyone confirm this as the final card or let me know of any changes?

This really has nothing to do with the topic, but I can't help but think about one thing after reading that guy's review. The review is great, but when I read that one part "Dave Prazak and Jim Fannin were waaaaayyyyyy too good at their job for the indy paycheque they were probably taking home that night," I couldn't help but smirk because Jim Fannin is the one paying for everything, because he is the owner of IWA Mid-South.
-
Reviews of the match have ranged from "amazing" to "boring," but they pretty much built this match as a continuation of their 55-Minute Tables and Ladders match they had about a year earlier. Chris Hero won I believe, but I don't know where you could find a review.
-
They started having really good strings of Nitros and Thunders in '99, with the tag team and cruiserweight divisions really heating up. I'll get back to you later today with some specific dates.
-
What did you expect, it's Vince McMahon, a man who can't even do shit with his own company, making a DVD about a company that almost put him out of business. I doubt he would go out of his way to recommend any great matches or segments from WCW's history, and instead add the full version of his rant from the Final Nitro where he ran down the entire WCW locker room. I can only hope that a Best of WCW DVD set is on the horizon because if this is how WWE is going to acknowledge WCW, it sucks.

I know Deranged was asked to not come back to Ring of Honor because he couldn't consistently be responsible for showing up to the shows, but when and why was Angel Dust let go?
-
It has definitely been obvious to me that CZW is slowly sinking back into that category of garbage fed that they were in from their inception until '01. You could probably blame it on John Zandig, whose wrestling skills are on par with Stephanie McMahon, giving himself the World title, Wifebeater and New Jack being brought back and put into the main event, and the overall lack of home-grown talent. Sucks that the Backseat Boyz have to leave, as they were the few bright spots of CZW's latter shows, but hopefully it's for the best.
-
The quality is about the same as all the other RF Video Best of... videos, which is good. I the matches are in full, so I would definitely recommend it if you are a Special K fan.
-
I have that video and it is pretty good. It gets off to sort of a slow start, but once you get to the matches involving Deranged and Izzy it's all good from there. The two Deranged vs. Izzy matches are great, and their tag team match against Da Hit Squad is a brutal ass-kicking. The work between Deranged and Hydro in the three-way is great as well.

I've read that he has been called a black Chris Benoit, and I do believe his finisher is the Flying Headbutt. You can find a couple of pictures of him here.

Seeing as how Disco Machine, Excalibur, and Super Dragon are apparently best friends in real life, will Disco and Dragon make the trip over to the east coast with him?
