One And Only...12/9/03...yadda yadda yadda
syxx2001 replied to Corey_Lazarus's topic in TNA Wrestling
What Im saying is people will still talk no matter when the match is announced. It doesnt matter if they announce before the next week or during the show, people will still go into a TNA thread, TNA folder, wrestling chatroom, IM a friend, email a friend and say "Guess what? TNA just announced their main event. Its Low Ki and Styles for the title!" and that has the same effect that it would have if it was announced a week before hand. The only factor is that it wouldn't have the same amount of time to linger around in some thread. And plus, more people would be eager to spread the news. Most people wait till the last minute to do things. If they announce the match for week 2 during week 1, some people would tell others, but most would wait until the Tuesday before to go "Hey, cant wait for that big match tomorrow". If they announce during the show, people would try to spread the word as quick as possible. -

And? They dont run commercials that say "AJ Styles vs The Amazing Red, next Wednesday". If they announced the match last week, you, me and everyone else would be on every message baord saying "Hey. Red is fighting Styles next week. Who will win?" What difference does it make if they make up the match during the show? Couldnt we still hit up the message board and AIM and say "Hey. They just announced Red vs Styles for the main event" Or "Red vs Styles in a few minutes". People would order mid match, like the end, get the free replay. Or Just order the replay. So I dont see what the deal is. TNA news spreads by word of mouth not by TVGuide weekly or commercials during RAW. And word of mouth can be used during, after and before the shows each week. -

Who ever that was had a excellent point. Everytime someone promotes a surprise and its a new, old timer, we always get the same "Why dont you use the Shane Helms and promote them for the future. They are the future" shit, so when Kash is used we get the "What? Thats bologna, that sucks, yadda yadda". Crazy. Michrome, Corey said WRESTLE, NOT WORK. Wrestling means nothing to most fans unless they are told to like it, like Kurt Angle. If he just went out and said "Im cool and I wear blue" and wrestled, he wouldnt be over. But he has taught casual fans that he is a wrestler and that is what he does. The only type of wrestling that matters to normal fans is spot wrestling, seeing someone try and kill themselves. Thats why RVD and Jeff Hardy are/were over dispite never using the mic. And Dave is semi right. No one complained about D'Lo or Raven, but everyone complained about X-Pac. But Scott Hall was pretty good and everyone still complained cause he wasn't Mr. Wrestling '95. Sting might be in that same boat. -
Wrestlers getting beat by their own signature

A wrestler losing to his own finisher Mr. Funny man -
Anybody can be on PPV. WWA didnt have Hogan and they were on PPV.

When Russo was there, most things didnt make sense, but the things that did were good. With Mantel, most of the stuff is stupid. Its like watching WCW again when Russo came in and Bischoff lost power.

I think some people who dont like rap bought DJV just because it was a wrestling game. Then there are others who dont like wrestling and bought it cause it had rappers in it.
-
Probably means "non-WCW games (excluding games with fake wrestlers)" just like the WWE contracts keep people from wrestling in other promotions as long as they arent seen as a viable threat

Take you head from between your legs and look at him for a minute. He was a good big guy. Not everyone has to be the next Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle. Wrestling has become like basketball. People are so worried about who can trade the most armbars in 30 seconds just like the same people are worried about trying to "break someone's ankles" thats they forget the basics. The Smackdown Iron man show showed that people dont really give a big shit about pure wrestling, or long wrestling and that the big monsters sell the shows. And big guys have a place in wrestling just like big guys have a place in basketball.

I always heard heroin jokes.

On time when Steve asked Laura for a date and she turned him down and started crying, I ran out of the room and cried and my mom told me it was ok. I was like 3 or 4. The series finale of Boy Meets World is kinda touching. The first time, the 2nd it isnt as much.

Marrisa is getting on my damn nerves. Someone should shoot her.

No thats not the girl from the Jamie Foxx show. -
For the people asking for 5 hours of pure wrestling, I suggest you take a look at the ratings for the Iron Man Smackdown.

And I dont think it was the next morning. I would think it was Monday morning. Thanksgiving being on Thursday.

I liked Super Human Samari Cyber Squad. It was 1 guy, but the other 2 guys could help him by using their zords or whatever they were called when he needed them.
-
I've always liked Tommy. When I first started watching wrestling, I say Kidman in his white wifebeater and jeans days and said to my brother "Look. Its Tommy from Power Rangers".

Im mainly talking to NBT, who ASKS for the spoiler, when I gave it to everyone on the last page.

Didnt I already put the secret in my post as a spoiler?

Girls who smoke is, eh. I'd rather them drink. But I like a girl in charge, thats sexy. Like when I let my friend drive my car, it felt good to have a girl my age drive me around.

I think Summer was in the opening credits in the first few episodes but they took her out. Probably cause she wasnt supposed to be a regular character. And why would they just put Rachel in the opening credits in the middle of the season. Ive never seen that happen on any other show. And for whoever wants to know the big secret Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Luke's dad is gay and comes out of the closet so Luke gets made fun of and Ryan steps up to help him in a fight.

It doesnt matter if thats the truth or not, no one will accept it.

If they want to make money off of him, let them. What difference does it make if he died or live. It isn't like they are pissing on his legacy (unless you count Nu Mixx Klazzics). And I saw the Biggie/Tupac documentary. I have it.
