  1. ^is quite wrong
  2. I *usally* know good movies when I see 'em. Besides, dark comedies + Norton shirtless > Rob Schneider [i think I spelled that wrong..]. Why the hell are they changing?
  3. Mom and me went to the video store yesterday and rented four movies, three of which feature Ed Norton, so I figured I'd get everyone's thoughts on 'em. 25th Hour - A bit dull at times, but it was otherwise wonderful to watch. What was a little bit amusing was that in Red Dragon, Norton and Philip Hoffman's characters were enemies, but in this movie, they're best of friends. My fave part of the movie has to be Monty's "Fuck You" mini-rant. Pure gold. Fight Club - This, along with Hannibal, is one of those movies that I never thought I'd enjoy so much. I can remember me being on the computer while mom and my older sis watched this movie. Back then, I thought it was just simply retarded [i honestly wasn't paying much attention to it], but now, I really enjoy it. Awesome, awesome acting by both Norton and Pitt. The violence was a bit much, but I enjoyed the whole psychological aspect. Hell, I've watched the music video, found on the 2-disk DVD set, at least twenty times. American History X - I barely remember this movie, so I can't really post a review about it. But I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks of it, along with the other two. Side-Note: I'm beginning to notice a trend. In every movie I've seen of Norton's, except The People vs Larry Flynt, there's always a scene where he's shirtless. Not that I'm complaining, of course, just pointing out an observation
  4. On Tuesday, I made some comment that pissed my mom off, so she grounded me Thursday from SD. After looking at the spoilers, and I swear this is the first time, I could care less about missing it. The only thing I'd tape from the show is Mattitude~! Of course, the three Edward Norton movies we rented (Fight Club, American History X, and 25th Hour) probably have something to do with it We also rented The Hot Chick, but that's a movie I could care less about seeing.

Just curious...Iwc, why do you make your banners so small?
  6. ^ and < also have nothing better to do than post in this thread
  7. The thought of playing Nightcrawler and/or this game being quite a long game is enough for me to buy it. I can't wait till more info/pics are available.
  8. Freakin' GOLD~! You should make one and wear it to an SD taping.
  9. 1. The opening segment was strong and Austin used his popularity to get next month's PPV and ME over. 2. The build up to HHH-Flair was fantastic and 1000x better than anything we have seen on Raw in a long time. 3. The 5-Minute White Boy Challenge is actually going somewhere and the match was pretty decent to boot. 4. The Highlight Reel was another very good talking segment (THe JeriTron 5000) that helped to get both Christian and the IC Title over. 5. The tag-title match was pretty good for what it was. 6. The main event was fucking unbelievable compared to everything at the PPV and most of the Raw main events from the last few months. The match had intense heat and had me on the edge of my seat. THAT is how I can say it was a great show. 1. SC can promote it all he wants...doesn't mean it'll be good. Since I won't be ordering PPVs due to money problems, I can't really agree/disagree with what you said. 2. Agreed....hell, it even kept me watching to see if Flair would win. But the buildup became meaningless, in my opinion, because we knew HHH would win. 3. Going somewhere? Maybe...but until last night, it was just a bunch of jobber matches. Just like 3MW, the only popular thing about Mack is the manager, or in 3MW's case, ex-manager. 4. I completely, 100% agree. That literally was the only "Hilight of the Night". 5. Again, agreed. 6. It was an okay match, but like I mentioned before, once JR gets on his total shill mode, the outcome becomes obvious, made even more so by who was in it.
  10. Those arms are the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Back on the subject of forgotten stars....what happened to DDP's site? Last I checked, it's not working. Also, has he done anything of signifigance [sp?] since retiring?
  11. Nothin' makes your day like being hailed as some Goddess.
  12. How the fuck could anyone say that was a great show? I swear I would've stopped watching after the Highlight Reel if I wasn't a) watching for Stevie, hoping against hope he'd be on and b) watching to see if Flair won, which I knew wasn't going to happen once JR started his orgasm shilling, yelling at King all angry in a comedy way, etc. Speaking of JR, I found his one line quite funny... something along the lines of "When Iwoke up this morning, I never thought Flair would be facing HHH!" Considering the Raw writing team's booking style, I found that line to be all too true.
  13. And what the fuck happened to Stevie vs Morley?!? I can understand it being cut from Raw because it was Flair's show....but it's not on Heat?! Now I doubly regret missing the Heat before Judgement Day.
  14. <agrees with ^ ... but it was just too good to leave out! After all, how can you go wrong with a play of words on something Nightcrawler always says?
  15. Dammit, I was hoping for a Heat rematch, since I missed it. Yes, I...missed...a...Stevie...match. As long as Psycho-Hotness~! gets air-time~! then I'm happy --This is your life...this is your life...this is your life...and it's ending one minute at a time... Yes, I need to stop watching that DVD.
  16. ^is a Jericho mark, yet oddly, has no Jericho in their sig or avatar. <does indeed love psychos
  17. Of course.... what I meant was that I don't think the pic itself is big enough for the text.............oh fuck it, never mind. I'll see what I can do.
  18. Using that pic? I don't think it'd fit..
  19. ^also has a good avatar ^^is slightly wrong.... <isn't really an Alan Cummings, in fact, I've never heard of him. But me being the psycho-lover that I am, Nightcrawler instantly became my fave character of the series.
  20. No prob...luckily, I saved it *before* I had merged the layers. Anyway, it's all fixed now...so, continue praising the Awesomeness that is Yuna
  21. Awesomeness that is Yuna... heh, gotta love a statement like that. That just made my day. EDIT: Looking back on the banner, I realized that I, um, forgot the 'i' in Life. How the fuck did I miss that before?!
  22. ^deserves Respect~! <*did* see X2 in the theater and it was hella fuckin' cool. What's cooler is I saw it for free! I just downloaded the movie [part one, actually, with japanese subtitles, which are sometimes really interesting] to tide me over until I can buy the DVD.
  23. I saw the trailer....that's enough. Dude, don't say that. According to people around here you shouldn't judge a movie by it's trailer. Why not? Let's compare... X2...not only an interesting story, but some awesome special effects. Daddy Day Care....a story about a day care, with the usual, same-old, same-old jokes. X2....Hugh Jackman, Aaron Stanford, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, etc etc. Daddy Day Care...Eddie Murphy, and, uh...some other people. X2....black leather and pajama pants~! Daddy Day Care....normal clothes and, um, vegetable outfits. X2....ultra-cool. Daddy Day Care....ultra-dumb.
  24. So who won/lost each match? I'm broke, so I couldn't afford the shitty ppv...not that I'd buy it anyways
  25. ^only wishes he owned ^^ <is watching X2 on the compy.....Gotta love technology Course it's better in the theater, but still....
