Just saw the 2nd episode. It was pretty good. It's still no West Wing though but the subject matter is the reason for that. It was definately good, even if Matt and Danny are literally channeling Chandler and Josh Lyman. But thats kinda what makes em likeable. The ending song was pretty hilarious

Robert Downey Jr is an underrated actor. He's really good.

All those Adobe programs work fine on my PC, but they are a little clunky, and really suck up memory, etc. It makes me wonder what they're like on a Mac.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion just got announced as a PS3 launch title. not that I'd buy PS3 at launch at that price, but its still good for when it eventually (err hopefully) drops in price, being that Oblivion was literally the only game on xbox 360 I wanted.

It was pretty good, but at times was cheesy and a little dull. Hiro was by far the best part of the show. There felt like lots of cliched lines and the character stories are very uncompelling. The cast seems very generic too.

If an honest to god final fantasy game (ie the main FF13, or 14, 15, etc) instead came out on a different platform, that might be enough to push me to it. even 360.

So what is airing tomorrow night (Tuesday)? A replay of this episode?

Looking at that list of names, I think it's gonna be Kurt Angle.

That was funny, though I think people are overhyping it. I was expected a Howard Dean YEEARRGH moment. It seemed like any "Hardball" or "O'Reilly Factor" exchange. The guy shoulda followed up by asking "When did you stop beating your wife?"

Only issue with that is that almost EVERYONE I talk to and see on the internet has the exact same idea fter hearing about the 360 fiascos. Seriously, i've heard the ebay plan from everybody. If there's too many of them available on ebay than the final prices will come down. but i guess if the demand is more than the actual physical units in existence you could still make a pretty profit.

The average consumer will not know and probably won't care how much things cost in Japan. When have you ever heard an AVERAGE CONSUMER even have the faintest awareness of how much thigns cost in Japan? hmm, maybe now is the time for me to pawn off my original release version of FF7 at a ridiculous price before the sony virtual console thing gets too well known.

I use my PS2 as a secondary DVD player. The main one is in the living room of the apartment, but others are frequently using the TV, so I do watch DVDs in my room with the PS2.

so is Sunday at 10 pm its regular timeslot? It seems like a bad timeslot, but what do I know I cant remember the last time I watched a regular show on Sunday night. edit: err whoops, brainfart, it aired on monday not sunday. So Monday at 10 is the regular timeslot then?

Was thinking of starting this thread myself but realized I didn't have much to say other than I really liked it. Reminded me of the glory days of the west wing. But Amanda Peet's character sucked, the same "tough sassy superWOMAANN" character. One scene of her showing just a little worry or fear that her plan wasn't gonna work would have done a lot for her character. Hopefully she takes a trip to Mandyville

I dont think it will pass now, but if certain conditions happen, enough parents get spooked about myspace kiddie-fucking or online video games or some other retarded thing, then a politician who doesn't really know jack shit about how the internet really works can push it through.

must be one of these foreign-based sites. They sell by the megabyte rather than by the song. allofmp3 is another such site. as i understand it, they are legal in the site of their origin.

i never got far into Star Ocean 3, because every time a battle would start, all of my "computer controlled" characters would get like half their HP drained no matter what tactics I used. if i switched characters, then the other character who I switched from wuold get his ass kicked. plus it was too confusing to tell what was going on. i did like the system early on when it was just the main character in the party and nobody else. so frustrating, that it fostered a hatred of any battle systems where your party members are computer controlled. I'm worried about FF12 for that reason.
