There wasn't enough back and forth in my opinion, which made it tedious. Brock went over Angle every day of the week, where's the suspense in constant squashing? If they had been booked as equals who were trying to out do the other, it would have had much more excitement and suspense around it for Wrestlemania. I'm just stating the obvious though.

It's a shame that Kurt was injured, but at least this crap feud is over. Terrible. Out of 10, I'd rate it around 2 -- and that's being generous.
-
I'm just complaining about the way his feud against Brock Lesnar (and his title run in general) has been handled. I'm not saying he's being punished (we don't know exactly what goes on backstage) but he certainly was never pushed as a credible champion in the face of Brock Lesnar. He didn't go over Lesnar ONCE. Week after week he (with 2 bodyguards no less) was ravaged by Lesnar with relative ease. Kurt should have just left for the Olympics and left this crap feud for someone else.
-
If you want to do "woulda, coulda, shoulda's", Kurt should have just left to train for the Olympics instead of this garbage title run. Real great reward for staying loyal to the company. Kurt should pull a Stone Cold.
-
If he absolutely must wrestle, at least give him the opportunity to explain his injury sometime in the evening so the fans know what's what. Because this squash match with Lesnar is just going to leave him looking like a joke going out, the fans should at least know why so he doesn't lose all credibility. They've painted him into a corner so badly, no matter what he does he'll look like a weak coward. Stupid WWE.
-
Unbelievable. Kurt's just going to end up hurting himself worse.

Steph's arm's look big in those shots because of the angle. Look at Kurt's arms to see what I mean.

Looks like Goldberg is on his way to WWE

I'd actually want to see Goldberg wrestle Brock for the sheer hilarity of seeing them together. It would be the battle of the dopplegangers. -

I really want to see someone just stiff the hell out of him. Pretty please? -
Let's just hope they do SOMETHING like that, or else it will absolutely kill Angle's credibility. He never went over Brock once, he barely even touched Brock. And now he's gonna be squashed by Brock. The only way for them to salvage Kurt is to let him tell everyone the truth about his injury before the match starts and that he will be out for a year. If the WWE doesn't at least give him that, Kurt will be so tarnished it will take them months to build him up again when he returns.
-
That's the best way to go with what seems to be their plan of having Kurt Angle wrestle, but that would also break kayfabe, which, apparently is a no-no nowadays. Garbage.

This, coupled with the fact that Kurt Angle will be off my TV for a year makes me want to stop watching WWE all together. I can't wait to see how many workers he can injure in his 2 PPV run. Hooray! -
Having been a gamer since the nes days, I have way too many moments. A couple that spring to mind: The first time I played through Chrono Trigger on Snes was like a constant markout. Specifically, the Trial sequence in the game, when previous things I had done (like stealing the old man's lunch) came back to haunt me. I was amazed. The intro to FFX blew me away with the incredible cg. With Auron walking along while the blitzball game rages on just caused me to mark out, as I had been anticipating the game very highly. Tons of moments of fighting bosses in Metroid Prime. Too many moments overall from all the FF games, I couldn't list them all. I have a big fondness in my heart for the sniping sequence in FF8. Playing through all of Chrono Cross, constant markout. The chrono series of games has always been my favorite, and I love every aspect of them. The first appearance of Solidus in MGS2, as well as the tanker sequence when Revolver steals Metal Gear Ray. Virtually every cinema in MGS and MGS2 actually. Blah, that's enough for now. It's good to be a gamer baby!

Mario will never go on X-Box. Nintendo has gone on record stating that the day they stop making consoles, that's the day they leave videogames entirely. I have a gamecube and a PS2, and things are definately look up for Nintendo. What with the new Zelda game less than a month away, and the all new FF series coming out from Square (it's about time they patch up things between each other). As well, the Metal Gear Solid series has been confirmed to going to the Cube, but in what capacity I have no idea. It might just be a port of MGS2 or it might (hopefully) be an all new game. There are also a ton of other titles coming out this year that should be stellar, far too many to mention on here. Things are looking up, though.
-
I'm excited to play it, simply because I love all the FF games. But I would much rather see a new Chrono series game personally. North American's get the big games before Japan every once in awhile. Look at Metal Gear Solid 2. There were reports on how pissed off everyone in Japan was because North American's got to experience it first. Metroid Prime is another example, but that game was developed in Texas so it makes sense.

Yes, and he's channeling a bit of JR as well, what with his "Damning to hell" he always loves to shout. That Michael Cole beating is one of my fondest wrestling memories. Damn, did I ever enjoy that.

Like I said in the Live Smackdown Spoilers thread: Heaven forbid that the WWE actually remind it's fans that a WRESTLER was hurt while WRESTLING on a WRESTLING show. I'm so tired of every injury having to be part of some stupid angle. Enough with this soap opera BS! Just let Kurt give his speech and leave for his surgery. If the marks are that stupid that they can't understand something so simple as a wrestler being unable to compete due to an injury, screw 'em.
-
I would only hope so, but this is WWE after all. Kurt shouldn't even be wrestling at all, according to Dr. Youngblood. If he does wrestle, he is taking far too great a risk for something as meaningless as a wrestling feud. I'd rather see the title lose some of it's luster with a forfeit, than to have Kurt Angle permanently crippled.
-
They could keep their name and their gimmick and represent Angle while he is out. For example, they could say something like "Our Captain, Kurt Angle, while rehabbing his injury from his home, has given us strict orders to take out so and so this week." while Heyman stays on as their mouthpiece.
-
I prefer to jump to conclusions permaturely and assume everything. It's far more fun. If his arm is going numb from this injury as was stated, that's pretty damn serious if you ask me.
-
Making Kurt wrestle in this match goes to show just how little regard Vince has for his Wrestler's well being. There is being a professional and there is being stupid and risking your life for a meaningless wrestling feud.
-
I can't believe they are doing this. This was the absolute, bar none, the absolute worst way they could have handled this. Holy crap, I'm actually fearful for Kurt's life next week. Good job, WWE, you worthless chunks of donkey testicles.
-
Vince: "Kurt, you gotta go out there and do one last match to drop the title to Brock Lesnar." Kurt: "But Vince, my arm is numb and I can't feel my legs. I think I may have cracked some vertabrae in my neck..." Vince:"Come on you pussy, that's nothing. Hell, HHH says he wrestles with those injuries all the time! Gut it out, pussy!" Kurt: "Well, I really shouldn't. The doctor says I can't wrestle even one more match." Vince: "Damn that Dr. Youngblood, interferring with my wrestlers dreams! We are never using him again! Now, you're going to drop the title to Lesnar, or you'reeee FIRRREEED!" Damn you WWE! Damn you!
-
Sweet mother no. I can't believe they are going to make Kurt wrestle. Well, he's as good as dead with Mister Delicate Brock Lesnar. Screw the WWE. I'm about close to done with them.
-
I doubt WWE can do anything with class anymore. I'm sure the eventual angle will involve Angle caught beating an old lady while stealing from a blind man and mutilating a dog. And then someone will injure him whilst he does his dastardly deeds... and just to make things "WWE Style", that person will be Mae Young. That should make it embarrassing enough. And, on the plus side, it lets Angle leave for his neck. Hooray! Gotta save that heel heat, eh WWE?
