My thoughts exactly. I always loved that Hart/Kid match. A few other good things too. From recent years I notice the Michaels/Benjamin Gold Rush finally gets on DVD. There are even little segments on there. Like I remember watching my RAW tape the next morning before school and seeing Gorilla fire Bobby Heenan. I am picking up this set immediately.

Back on the Douglas thing, actually last I remember reading about him, Douglas joined Justin Credible in the former ECW Champions turned Target Manager club. I would love to see Douglas back doing commentary though.

Today's news bits: Billy King has finally been fired by Philadelphia. Anderson Varejao signed an offer sheet with the Bobcats. Cleveland has one week to attempt to match the three year deal, money is not being made public currently as of the article I read on Yahoo.

I did it on legend and it took me nearly two hours for the single match. I won by the skin of my teeth. The problem is, it didn't count to my Hall of Fame. Was it because I didn't do it at WrestleMania? Because I don't have the Wrestlemania arena unlocked yet, but it didn't say Wrestlemania either. Also, for the achievement to beat all the tournaments for GamerScore points, which ones do you have to win? Because I won a King of the Ring, Beat the Clock, Quick tournament and a Create a Tournament on Legend and it didn't go. Does anyone have a specific breakdown if maybe something was wrong?

Yeah, as DrVenkman said, they came out this past week. People have been having luck spotting them at Wal-Marts for around $35 and change.

I picked up the Shawn DVD. I got around to watching the feature last night and I really enjoyed it. There are a couple BUTT-kissing moments in it. As always, Gerlad Brisco pops up to lend some comedy in that department, but the big one I laughed at was when Foley said if they weren't labeled a wrestling program, that long "Vince Loves Cock" segment with the Penis Pump, Alien and Big Dick Johnson would've won an Emmy.

What I had always heard on this was that HHH saw Benoit to be a solid worker who he could put on good matches with, being his version of Ricky Steamboat to himself being Flair.

I was actually intrigued by the Adam Brody as The Flash rumor, so I tried looking on the site I normally check on Comic Movie News, SuperHeroHype.com and got a completely different thing for the cast and even status (credit: SuperHeroHype.com):

I don't know anything of Homicide outside of TNA either, but I guess some of his ROH is what got him crazy popular, like I always hear mention of a street fight vs. CM Punk where they go brawling through like a strip club. I haven't had the time to look any of the stuff up either, but that is the main one I have heard of. Hope that helps a little til someone more informed pops up.

For those playing on 360 who want to know what some of the Secret gamer score achievements, I've unlocked two so far:

I picked it up on the 360 Tuesday night. The controller changes aren't as awful as I was anticipating. It is fine so far, although it seems a bit easier than I was expecting, I haven't lost yet. Some changes I could've done without, but it is average. Not a huge fan of 24/7 mode so far... although I did enjoy seeing Matt Hardy wield a gun.

How can you think this guy is a shill? That is obviously an honest and valid opinion....

Yeah, I ordered the Cena DVD for cheap and after the fact I saw what was on it and I am kind of regretting it, despite not receiving it yet. I got it off FYE.com with No Mercy for wicked cheap. With their "Buy With PayPal" Special, it was $28 shipped for the Cena set and No Mercy, but both also have $7 rebates, so I figured I would try it getting No Mercy 07 and Cena's set for $14 total after the rebates come in.

I was given a free subscription to Maxim for answering some survey and got the first issue yesterday which is the new one with Sarah Michelle Gellar on the cover. Inside there was a long article about Benoit, which surprised me. It was a pretty interesting read, although there wasn't an extreme amount of new information. There were a couple littles things that were new to me, like some quotes from RVD about things that happened leading up to it and stuff.

I never watched any of this on MTV. I know it didn't last long. I was kind of intrigued by some of the names involved, older ones like Waltman and Vampiro, along with indy names I had heard of pre-Judas Mecias Banderas, Teddy Hart and Jack Evans. I was curious if anyone would suggest it or if it was just a waste of time. It comes to DVD this Tuesday the 13th. The cool thing is it is only $16.70 on DeepDiscount.com and they are doing their annual 20% off sale, so once it is released on Tuesday, it will only be around $13 shipped. I am kind of curious just to go for it, but if it was complete garbage, I don't really want to waste my money or time. Thoughts anyone?

I just saw the card for this before coming and seeing the spoilers. The card had me excited (Tag Team Battle Royal with winners getting title shot that night, Punk/Noble) , these spoilers do not. I think (and hope) it is one of those shows the spoilers do not do justice. I'm curious how Jesse/Festus got eliminated as they pretty much seem to be the team that will dethrone Hardy/MVP unless they throw another partners that can't cooperate/main event team in the mix.

The Buzz threw out The Royal Booker T, but anyone think they may call him Royal T? I would love to see the King gimmick continue, however if he is coming in as a babyface, it's gonna be old Booker... or maybe GI Bro.

So I've seen that all the late night talk shows and stuff that doesn't already have scripts lying around are done. What does this mean for SNL? Because I've been looking forward to The Rock and Jonah Hill shows the next two weeks. Are they not going to happen now? I'd guess at least some of the people are in the Writer's Guild. Anyone know? This is really disappointing seeing they did three episodes, then two weeks of re-runs. I was looking forward to this string of hosts... EDIT: Just went back and saw King Kamala Classic's post on the last page... disappointing.

Loser Leaves ECW That would be a logical step for this feud, however ECW can't afford to lose anyone else and with the talent merger, the person would have to go to RAW, where I think either one of them would be completely lost in the shuffle.

I Tivo'd RAW last night and when getting around to watching it now, I noticed an error in the match graphic for the Traditional Survivor Series match it showed Matt Hardy with a RAW tag belt.

No, Vince obviously has some sort of Eeeeeeeeeeevil Plan to destroy and humiliate DX. Thus we will be treated to some awful unstoppable DX gimmick. I mean, HBK himself took at both Edge and Orton in a handicap match earlier in the year, and HHH has squashed everyone he's faced since returning. Santino should not get a win over Austin, as that would change his comic character into something it is not meant to be. Santino should get to at least escape the stunner in some dastardly manner (see above suggestion regarding the rochambeau) only to be forced into the ring with Stone Cold at the next PPV to receive his richly deserved stunner and subsequent beer-dousing. Santino's character is a comedic heel; he can't get the duke over the company's original badass face and still remain a comedy act. And let's face it, that's all Santino has is that glorious mic work. We don't want to have to watch any painful attempts at matches by him, do we? I completely agree with this logic. The only problem is, WWE's focus has been all on ratings as opposed to building to a PPV payoff. Since they view the ratings with more priority than anything else, Santino's fate is sealed. MY issue is, with Santino getting all of his cheap comedic heel heat, I can't believe they are wasting it on Austin. Santino is the type of guy (as mentioned above) that needs to be booked as the weasel, running away at the right times, only to have a face finally catch up to him and 'shut him up'. I know the Condemned DVD is out, and Bonnie "I Was A Teenaged" Hammer wants the ratings, but Santino is the type of guy that can actually be used to help build someone (i.e. as an enhancement talent). (And also: they have a built in, classic program with Maria as the "valet needed to be saved from the heel" that Santino's mic skills alone could make a golden angle) Of course, with Cody Rhodes jobbed out to Spark Plug, and DH Smith in love with his dad's mistress, there isn't really a face left that can be enhanced (minus HHH of course). Can you elaborate on this? I think it is in reference to Smith being suspended for failing the drug test, seeing as it was similar drugs that killed his father.

Yeah, I did laugh more at the 100 Episode special clip show they did tonight than the regular show. I enjoyed the interviews with the people who have never seen the show. "Is that David Hyde Pierce?" "Yes" "Oh, I'm so disappointed in him..."
