  1. If it was live, I'd watch it. But seing as it's not on till Friday in the UK, I won't give a fuck by then.
  2. I supose you could argue, by the same token, that it doesn't matter if gay people are allowed to marry or not if it's not going to matter, so why not keep it illegal. Not my point of view, but there you go. Ultimately, I see marriage as being one of the last preserves of the conventional right, as being one of the last barriers to be broken. It's a lot more important for symbolic reasons than for monetary reasons. Also, I can't remember whether or not the bible directly bans homosexuality or not. If so, shouldn't it be right that a homosexual Christian mariage under God remains illegal?
  3. Wow, Kanes atually turned into a Vanilla mid-carder. Who'da thought?
  4. I was actually getting bored of Mr America. Maybe he can return at the Rumble next year, and have a hot run up to WMXX and then retire? hmmmm... nice if it's true.
  5. I've said this many times, but I just really don't like the idea of a cruiserweight division. To me, it's full of people who have decided that they can't win the heavyweight belt. It's a consolation prize. I dont see why anyone would have a problem with a cruiserweight division. It's like in boxing having Lennox Lewis fight someone like Arturo Gatti.....it's too much of a difference. There is a CW division because the guys are too small to challenge for the Heavyweight belt. There are different divisions in boxing, mma, wrestling. Boxing and the ilk are much moe power based. Rey couldn't beat The Big Show in a fist fight, but he could in a wrestling match by bouncing around and keeping out of TBS's reach.
  6. I'm amazed so many people haven't done it. I'm the only person I know who's never done it, and thats only because I'm straight edge. I'd rather have a bong and get stoned than get drunk.
  7. Here ya go. I only remember it because I saw them promoting it at Reading Festival last August.
  8. Unfortunately, it may be true, because I read about it one time. The on-air wedding would happen in the fall of this year and HHH would jump back to Smackdown. Smackdown was already fucked though, what with all the Vince/Steph/Sable/Zach Gowan/Mr. America shit and short matches with WWE-style in them that could have been better(Ultimo Dragon vs. Shannon Moore, Chris Benoit vs. Rhyno, etc.). So I guess when HHH jumps back, don't be surprised if Angle, Lesnar, Benoit, Guerrero, Tajiri, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, etc. are forced to put him over as we yell obscentities at the TV screen throughout. I realy don't thomk there's any way that HHH will: A) Lose the title B) Turn Face (or have Steph turn Heel) C) Jump to Smackdown D) Romance Steph and convince her to marry him E) Build up to the big day In the space of a few months. Theres not enough time to do it cohesively.
  9. One of the good things about the brand extention is that the vast majority of poor workers and hosses are on raw, while the smaller more talentes wrestlers are on Smmackdown. An over simplification, I know. But at least it keeps cruisers from being used as fodder for HHH
  10. Ash released a "best of" last summer. With a new single on it. I wouldn't expect a new album till the spring, but considering they were almost on the heap until "free all angels", they'd be wise not to leave it too much longer The Prodigy and GnR need new albums out, just so that they can get into the groove of being a band. Same with Prince. Also, more original Aphex be nice. And The Parkinsons really should but their debut out soon.
  11. Next year it''l be the Swiss, plus an increase in Belgium-bashing. *START NOW AND LOOK KEWL!!!*
  12. If I was 6'8, 300 pounds and had a superstar look, I sure as hell wouldn't bust my ass trying to lucha up the ring.
  13. For Led Zep, LedZepplinn IV is the most highly rated of their albums. Physical Graffiti And Led Zeppelin II are also highly thought of.
  14. Yeah, I can't really afford to splash out on loads of CD's anyway, so I'll probably just buy maybe a couple of albums, or maybe a greatest hits or something. That's why I asked on here for recommendations, cos I've got to be selective. So far I've downloaded a bunch of Clash and Smiths songs, but I haven't really gotten chance to listen to 'em all. 'Cemetary Gates' and 'Pretty Girls Make Graves' are two that I've downlaoded that I really like. 'This Charming Man' is still my favourite Smiths song though. I already had quite a few 'Clash' songs, I didn't have'London Calling' though, so thanks to whoever recommended that one. I also downloaded some Led Zeppelin...'Immigrant Song', 'Trampled Underfoot' and 'Dazed & Confused'...which are all amazing(goes without saying really). Best Clash album: comonly regarded to be Londons Calling Best Smiths album: commonly regarded to be The Queen Is Dead (although you're probably better off with the singles compilation) Just get on Soulseek and download those albums
  15. They call me Dr. Worm... My picks for our company deadpool: Raw: Rodney Mack Scott Steiner Goldberg Molly Holly Kevin Nash Rosey Smackdown: Nathan Jones (there's a tough one) The FBI Kidman 5 picks only please
  16. Too true. I'm gonna see them on the 8th. The album is seriously one of the best I've ever heard.
  17. Good man! I'd say Kanyon is one of the favourites to go.
  18. Over here in the good old United Kingdom, Michael Caine is impression god. "Zulus. Fah-sands of 'em."
  19. Let us know your thoughts bud.
  20. Ok, I've decided to set up a little game for anyone who wants to play. The idea is simple. Recently, WWE have let a few workers go, for various reasons, and with the current financial situation of the company, it seems as though more may be on the way. So, I thought to myself, why not have a guessing game for the nice people at TSM? The rules are simple. Below is a list of all workers on the active roster of Raw and Smackdown. Your task is to pick the five who you think will be the first to leave the company. This can be due to injury, retirement or outright sacking. The only requirement is that their contract is terminated (or expires). The first person who's five picks leave the company wins. If no-one wins by WMXX, the person with the most non-WWE workers wins. Everyone, of course, is eligible to enter. The only stipulation is that if you enter after a worker has been fired, you may not chose that worker. Workers who have been fired are marked in bold Also, please don't edit your workers after you have posted them. Instead of editing your post, add a new one with your new choice and make a note of it in the previous thread. So, to re-cap, chose five workers. The first person who's workers leave WINS! The workers: Raw AL SNOW BATISTA BOOKER T BUBBA RAY DUDLEY CHIEF MORLEY/VAL VENIS CHRIS JERICHO CHRIS NOWINSKI CHRISTIAN D-VON DUDLEY ERIC BISCHOFF GOLDBERG GOLDUST IVORY JACQUELINE JACKIE GAYDA JAZZ KANE KEVIN NASH LANCE STORM LILIAN GARCIA MAVEN MOLLY HOLLY RANDY ORTON RENEE DUPREE RIC FLAIR RICO ROB VAN DAM RODNEY MACK ROSEY SCOTT STEINER SHAWN MICHAELS SPIKE DUDLEY STACY KEIBLER STEVEN RICHARDS STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN SYLVAN GRENIER TEDDY LONG TERRI TEST THE HURRICANE THE ROCK TOMMY DREAMER TRISH STRATUS TRIPLE H VICTORIA WILLIAM REGAL Smackdown A-TRAIN BIG SHOW BILL DeMOTT BILLY GUNN BILLY KIDMAN BROCK LESNAR BRADSHAW CHARLIE HAAS CHAVO GUERRERO CHRIS BENOIT CHRIS KANYON CHUCK PALUMBO CRASH GONE! 21. And, having already been established in annother company, he'd have to "pay his dues", and would probably be stuck in a Jericho/Benoit role right now. OK, even more than right now
  22. Sssssh. Logic bad WWE good
