  1. No soccer games? BOO! Football: Madden Hockey: NHL Basketball: Don't really play any that much, but I like the feel of NBA street the most. Baseball: I'm English. Nuff said.
  2. Kidding right? Nah dude. They're the only two bands (at least out of those who Rolling Stone cover) who have completely converted me from hate to love with one gig.
  3. Radiohead = stunning Dave Matthews: I caught the guy playing a free solo gig while bunking off on a uni trip to London. Bear in mind that absolutely no-one in England has the sightest clue who the guy is (apart from US ex-pats). The guy was stunning, one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Got the album. It sucked. More than anything in the world ever. For my money, that list needs The White Stripes and The Hives.
  4. Stick em on Raw, for the love of God, please stick em on Raw.
  5. Another random picture to keep this thread alive.
  6. My picks: L.O.D DiBiase Warrior Bob Backlund Mankind/Cactus/Foley Yokosuna Sgt Slaughter Owen Bulldog Sid Piper Snuka Blassie
  7. But, they're really cool. Granted they haven't done a good album in a decade, but their live show is worth seeing if you're at a festival and nothing else is on. That's just it, I chose REM over them (and don't regret it) I've seen their performance on TV since, and it looks like it would be a lot better if you were actually there, but the songs just never grabbed me in the first place, and how the hell can they be such a great live band if one of their characteristics is a famously awful vocalist? Oh well, a lot of my friends loved it, whatever. Don't worry, AWK live is still greater then Primal Scream or R.E.M. As long as you've seen him, all else fades away.
  8. Heh, they were pretty damn cool. Thank god I watched it on DVD first so that I could check that they were really there, otherwise that would have freaked me out. There was one in the first meeting as well, wasn't there? Also, that small, moving one so needs to be your avatar
  9. They supported (and still support what's left of) a brutal, murderous regime. They make guerilla attacks against American troops who are trying to put the country back together. If you don't want to call that "evil," then call it whatever you want, but I'm damn sure going to call it that. One simple question Tom. If you were in their position, having been fed the propaganda they have been, having seen American troops kill your family and bomb your cities, having been told that this is a war against no only Hussein, but also all Iraqi and Muslim people, would you oppose these forces? If you can honestly say you would stand and watch foreign troops, particularly American troops who you have been conditioned to hate for well over a decade, invade and rule your country and not want to fight them, then you are a better man than me.
  10. ^ may well be being sarcastic... ^ also is happy with his 100 posts. Kudos to you DFA, kudos.
  11. I will say that AmDrag in that mask is far cooler than AmDrag without it. At least it hides his insurance-salesman style hair. And Chunk: Nush? seriously? Gah!
  12. Only 100? I thought you had more. How rare
  13. We're still waiting for someone who wants the glory of posting the results. Any takers?
  14. So you only like the part where they repeat a simple guitar riff over and over nu metal style? To each their own I guess. I'm such a pop slut
  15. Personally, I don't really understand the rave reviews it's been getting. It should be crap, but for some reason I really like it. I dunno, maybe years of listening to At The Drive-In have conditioned me for atunal guitar solos. I'm really surprised that people are jumping on the band-wagon and liking TMV to be cool. It's prog-rock god-dammit!
  16. So, do you guys reckon that this is the plan they had for Los Guerreros before Chavo's injury, with Eddie turning on Chavo?
  17. Don't be fooled by the rocks that I've got I'm still, I'm still Stephen from the block Used to have a little now I have a lot No matter where I go I know where I came from (from Cambridge)
  18. Of course they are. They are the last vestiges of unquestioning support for a regime that engaged in mass murder, rape, torture, and many other crimes. Anyone who chooses to support such a regime is as evil as the regime is/was, and all they deserve is to be shot until they stop twitching. Boo fucking hoo. These people continue to support an evil twisted regime and make cowardly terrorist attacks on American troops who are trying to make the country a better place. The only thing we should do with them is find every single one of them and execute them. My point was simply that if this was the other way round, and a foreign force liberated your country (be it America or somewhere else) then you would stand up for it. These people opposing American troops are fighting for what they believe is right. It doesn't matter whether it is right or not, they are still fighting for the same reason every American is. It isn't, in many cases, a case of "we like raping and pillaging, therefore lets fight democracy so we can get back to being bastards". It's just that they have been told with every breath to hate Americans, they've seen American soldiers kill their families and bomb their towns and invade their country. Bush needs to change their opinion, not reinforce it. And by inciting rebellion in Iraq, whether by words or actions, it is going to cause long term instability in the region. It's not as simple as "wipe out those opposing us, and everyone left will like us". The more people get killed, the more people will hate the American regime and the more likely it is that they'll oppose the Americans for generations to come.
  19. If Benoit is still a face, and not winning the U.S title, wouldn't he be facing, and losing, to Matt Hardy?
  20. I would mark out for a Brock/Kurt bikini contest
  21. Now that just sounds sick. If he was trying to bite him, then there could be an arguement made for trying to pass on communicable diseases, but this just reeks of trying to get scum off the streets. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course... Yeah, I saw that, thats why i brought it up. I just phrased it poorly. My bad.
  22. You know you want it...
