  1. I'm elite, bitch! You shouldn't have given my team that locker room material.
  2. Temple should move to the Sun Belt and see if they can give North Texas a run.
  3. The Bowling Green/Toledo game is on Tuesday and that's too early in the week to expect everyone to get their picks in. I decided a few weeks back that any game before Thursday wouldn't be included.
  4. Final week of the regular season. See the Week 12 thread for conference championship updates. Reminder that West Virginia is now a dead team. They're game has no impact on any conference or bowl races so I'll use my picks for them. Please note the early Thursday deadline. It'd be wise to get your picks in earlier than normal this week. Only 16 games to pick for this week because of the limited schedule. 5. I completely agree. It's no use even trying to discuss any other team but OU on here. I tried my best with the OaO thread to contain him but it couldn't work without it being enforced. Damaramu I think needs a some enforced time off from this folder preferbly through the end of the bowl season.
  6. Once again the SOS rankings you are referring to is done by the NCAA and all they do is take a team's opponents overall records. Beating Bowling Green counts just as much as beating Georgia or Virginia Tech. That is not an accurate way to compare schedules. And where do you get that Oklahoma has the toughest schedule in the country? I may have to take one for the team and re-sign up for collegebcs.com so I can get the full BCS rankings so I can figure how the SOS would workout under the old system.
  7. cabbage, I made the same mistake last week. The rules of the BCS state that if a team in a non-BCS coference is in the Top 6 they are automatically in the BCS. Utah is locked into a BCS berth now as obviously no one is jumping them with Michigan and Florida State both losing. To play devil's advocate, if I were Texas I'd be pissed. They are ranked higher than Utah after all so technically speaking they deserve to be in a BCS bowl more than the Utes. Not that I would want that. The main problem is the Big East should have had it's automatic berth stripped before this season. No one in that conference is deserving of a BCS bowl. I'm Bored so I'm going to do some bowl projecting since I already did the Big Ten earlier and some invites will probably be handed out this week. A few things I still think the Gator Bowl doesn't pass on the opportunity to take Notre Dame even though they will likely end the season at only 6-5. Also I'm going to assume that the Liberty Bowl uses it's now open spot to take Boise State. There will be several open bids this year so I'm really just taking wild guesses on some of these. 10. Yes, dead teams are ineligible for postseason play. Iowa has their game almost wrapped up so additional match-ups decided: #2 Minnesota (Vern Gagne) def. Notre Dame (Lando Griffin) #6 Ohio State (Gert T) def. Michigan (Mad Dog) by tiebreak Additional note, the Big Mac Conference Championship is now set as Minnesota and Notre Dame will have a re-match in two weeks. Bowling Green lost to both head-to-head so they can't win any tiebreak.
  11. Assuming Iowa holds on here's how the Big Ten bowl bids will probably go and who they will likely play as things stand at the moment: Rose: Michigan vs. California Capital One: Iowa vs. Tennessee Outback: Wisconsin vs. Georgia Alamo: Ohio State vs. Oklahoma State Sun: Purdue vs. UCLA Music City: Northwestern vs. South Carolina Motor City: Minnesota vs. Miami of Ohio
  12. As long as Utah is in the Top 6 they are automatically in the BCS. There was little chance of Michigan making up the ground even if they won today. As long as Utah doesn't completely lay an egg today, they are going to the Fiesta Bowl. Kyle Orton threw for 522 yards today and six touchdowns against Indiana. He had 401 yards passing the first half.
  13. Forget what I just said. UCLA is in the Pac-8 Championship but the other spot can't be decided until next week. Match-ups decided with Arkansas/Mississippi State going final: Michigan State (teke184/*dead team*) def. Penn State (therealworldschampion) Georgia (A_MikeSC) def. Rutgers (the pinjockey)
  14. *smacks head* Oh ya Wisconsin will have two losses in conference and Iowa will be tied with Michigan. Nevermind.
  15. Match-ups decided thru Ball St/CMU (Kansas and Navy are both up big late so I'm conceding both of those games to them): #1 Virginia (Edwin MacPhisto) def. West Virginia (Loaded Glove) by forfeit -WV is a dead team now. They're last game won't have any effect on conference championship or bowl game match-ups so I'll just use my picks for them the last week. #8 LSU (teke184) def. Oklahoma (Damaramu) Florida (Agent Bond34) def. Florida State (2GOLD); Bond holds tiebreak #4 UCLA (phoenixrising) def. USC (Cartman); phoenix holds tiebreak #9 Hawaii (Will Scarlet) def. Arizona State (Spicy McHaggis) Boise State (Vern Gagne/*dead team*) def. #10 Stanford (Bored); Vern holds tiebreak
  16. Ignore.
  17. The Big Game will kick off pretty soon. Now there is that part of me that knows for the greater good of the Pac-10, Cal needs to win. If Cal were upset that would knock them out of the BCS and likely knock the Pac-10 out of their traditional spot in the Rose Bowl, assuming USC goes to the Orange Bowl. It would also hurt USC's case as they would no longer hold a win over the top ranked one-loss team in the country. All that being said...fuck Cal. They've never been to a Rose Bowl in my lifetime and I hope they never do. I'd love nothing more than to watch Stanford knock them into the Holiday Bowl. Not that the Cardinal stand much of a chance today.
  18. Cocks acting like pricks...imagine that? South Carolina is bowl eligible so Lou has one more game.
  19. Hmmm might have a football game in Columbus. Ohio State drives 99 yards to tie the game at 14.
  20. Sweet, I was the only one that had Guillen going to Washington. Now watch that be the only pick I get right.
  21. Virginia Tech 55, Maryland 6. Oof. Va Tech is about the only team in the ACC that's exceeded expectations this year.
