Louisville edges Memphis in a thriller 56-49. There were ten lead changes and they combined for over 1200 yards. D'Angelo Williams rushed for 205 yards in the loss.

Yup. Dangerous A is late as well. I'm not expecting Kotzenjunge to show up.
-
http://www.oaklandtribune.com/Stories/0%2C...13098%2C00.html Johnson is nothing special and is no longer the great defensive catcher he once was but as a one year fill-in he'd be fine for the A's. Dumping Rhodes in the process would make this a pretty good deal.

So last night on Election Night we had a game in Ohio between a red team and a blue team that was close and decided in the final minutes but was eventually won by the red team. See a MAC football game decided the election! Anyways tonight South Florida ended up crushing UAB after scoring 35 unanswered points, including 28 in the 4th, to erase a 20-10 deficit. I know you call care.
-
This year the league averages for OBP was .336 in the A.L. and .329 in the N.L.
-
What do you mean no one is watching Toledo/Miami of Ohio? Can't possibly be anything else on t.v....
-
Okay teke although we'll wait until next week as I wanna be fair to Lando (Tennessee's opponent this week) since I did allow Boise to forfeit twice before I declared them dead.
-
So are the baseball writers going to just put Jeter in the Hall of Fame already next year? I think he's almost underrated by non-Yankee fans at this point but good lord the baseball writers hard on for him will never end. Good to see Chavez won. A-Rod did a great job but Chavez is still a notch better defensively.
-
I ommitted Tennessee/Notre Dame because almost no one is going to pick Notre Dame in Knoxville. Hey I seemed right on by not putting Tennesse/South Carolina as that game didn't end up being much of a contest. Remember I'm no longer going by the national television schedule.
-
Report today is the A's won't be re-signing Damian Miller. He's apparantly asking for a three-year deal and in that case I wouldn't keep him either. I doubt a catcher his age will have many teams offering three years so I wouldn't rule him still coming back to Oakland. Hopefully by 2006 John Baker will be ready and by 2007 either Kurt Suzuki or Landon Powell could take over so they only really need a one-year stop gap this season.
-
Yes the week already starts tonight with a pretty good MAC match-up. If you want to talk about Oklahoma/Texas A&M please do it in the OaO Oklahoma Football Thread. National television schedule. Just one ABC regional time slot this week. Hey a Sun Belt game on national television this Friday, I know I'm excited. Here you go Damaramu here is your own thread now to talk about Oklahoma football all you want. Any thought on Oklahoma that pops in your head just post it here. Of course everyone else is free to talk about Oklahoma football here as well. BTW the greatest player Oklahoma football history is Billy Sims.
-
I'm going to solve this right now for Dama... You have your own thread now. Everyone feel free to talk about other Heisman candidates in here.
-
Damn maybe I should just leave it up to my emergency picks every week.
-
Again as mentioned in the Week 9 thread I'm skipping over the Tuesday and Wednesday games. Yes the two Friday games are national t.v. games and not just games I threw on there. Now I did ligthen the number of low level games for Saturday I believe this week but that doesn't mean it's easier to make picks. Lots of tight mid level games in the major conferences this week. For Tennessee I'll wait another week before declaring them a dead team and allowing someone else to use their picks for them just like I did with Boise State. We'll see if Kotz is around to make picks. Iggy it's way too late in the contest for that and even then neither of your strength of schedules would be that good and neither of you would crack the Top 2. Just drop it already.

Florida State and Miami are upset but here is your Upset of the Day: Baylor 35, Texas A&M 34 OT
-
And North Carolina wins it on a last second field goal, 31-28. As usual there is always a huge upset or two of these undefeated teams and we always end up with no more than two unbeatens from the major conferences. Baylor has taken Texas A&M to overtime.

Just a note that there are games on Tuesday and Wendesday next week but I've decided to skip them and just go with the regular Thursday deadline for the remainder of the season.
