Florida up 21-17 and about to punt from deep in their own territory with 2:16 left for LSU's last shot. Touchdown LSU with 27 seconds left.

Because FSN's deal is with the Pac-10 and Big 12. Neither Kansas or Kansas State are ranked either and UCLA is better than both of them this year. Texas Tech 63, Nebraska 10 with still over eight minutes to go. I can't wait for the Trev Alberts rant. Make that 70-10. Tech has scored 49 in the second half.
-
Texas Tech is slaughtering Nebraska so I'll concede that game to them and here are the additional match-ups decided thru that game: Texas (Flyboy) def. #8 Oklahoma (Damaramu) Maryland (MarvinisaLunatic) def. Auburn (Agent of Oblivion) Rutgers (the pinjockey) def. Miami (Spaceman Spiff) Michigan State (Dangerous A) def. Kent State (JHawk) Georgia (A_MikeSC) def. Tennessee (Kotzenjunge) The Missouri/Baylor game will have no impact on the results so I will have the Week 7 thread up tonight as there is a Wednesday game next week.
-
I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a melon baller than watch this series.
-
This is FSN's national coverage so everyone is getting Arizona/UCLA. They decided to show Missouri/Baylor as the Big 12 national game for whatever reason tonight.
-
Additional match-ups decided thru the 3:30/12:30 games: #1 Virginia (Edwin MacPhisto) def. Penn State (therealworldschampion) UCLA (phoenixrising) def. #2 Ohio State (Gert T) #4 Minnesota (Vern Gagne) def. Michigan (Mad Dog); Vern wins by tiebreak Bowling Green (iggymcfly) def. #6 Hawaii (Will Scarlet); iggy holds tiebreak Boston College (HarleyQuinn) def. USC (Cartman)

Wisconsin beats Ohio State 24-13. Huge game next week at Purdue, although the Boilermakers are struggling against Penn State.
-
Cal has 1st and Goal at the USC 9 with 1:47 left in the game. Incomplete pass. 2nd and Goal. Rodgers sacked! 3rd and Goal at the 14. Incomplete pass. 4th and Goal. INCOMPLETE! USC WILL WIN!!!
-
Cal's Aaron Rodgers throws his first incompletion of the game at 8:57 left in the 4th. He tied a record with 23 consective completions to start a game. USC still up 23-17, Call with the ball on the USC 36.
-
Reggie Bush answers a Cal touchdown to cut the lead to 23-17 with an 84 yard kick return. But Cal intercepts a pass in the endzone. This one is going to go down to the wire. Stanford is going to lose to Notre Dame 23-15. They lead the majority of the game but settling for field goals on two 1st and Goal situations early in the game killed them.
-
The formula now is just the AP poll, Coaches' Poll, and the six computer rankings with the highest and lowest ranking thrown out.
-
Big upset in the SEC as Mississippi, who's just been awful this year, beats #25 South Carolina 31-28. Army ends the longest losing streak in the country by beat Cincinnati 48-29.
-
Match-ups decided thru today's early games: #9 Oregon (nogoodnick) def. #3 Washington State (bravesfan); nick holds tiebreak #5 Syracuse (CanadianChris) def. Florida State (2GOLD) Alabama (AlwaysPissedOff) def. West Virginia (Loaded Glove); APO holds tiebreak

Peterson deserves Heisman consideration now but no freshman is going to win it. Cedric Benson's hopes went down the toilet today.
-
Touchdown Michigan puts them up 27-24 with less than two minutes to go. For those in the pick 'em contest Michigan State beat Illinois 38-25. Game was preempted for baseball. It's over in Ann Arbor. Is Minnesota ever going to beat Michigan again?
-
I decided to create a seperate thread for tommorrow's game as obviously there will be a lot of posts for it. We'll have the TWiCFB thread focus on the rest of the games on Saturday. Let the bickering begin!

Houston/Southern Miss loooking like it's heading to overtime. Virginia, possibly looking ahead to Florida State next week, getting a tougher game than expected against Clemson although pretty much have the game in hand now.

Programming note, if there is a baseball playoff game Saturday the Minnesota/Michigan game will be televised on ESPN Classic. Why don't they just move that game to ESPN2 and the pointless Illinois/Michigan State game to ESPN Classic? I have ESPN Classic but I still don't think it's available on basic cable in most areas.
