Before I post the match-up breakdowns as I alluded to in the pick thread I want to present two ideas to you guys on how I should handle dead teams. It appears Boise State will forfeit for a second straight week and effectively end any chance of anyone taking over that team winning the contest so I will declare it dead. I do not want forfeits for the rest of the year for Boise State so here are my two ideas: Idea #1: I will have Boise State (or any other dead team) pick the favorites for each game based on the point spread. Idea #2: I will let someone already in the contest volunteer (it would be first come, first serve although not until I make a decision on which idea I use) to take over Boise State. It can not be anyone still on Boise State's schedule and they would have to make the same picks for Boise that they make for their own team. For either idea Boise State will be on "probation" and can not participate in the Pac-8 Conference Championship or any bowl game. Let me know what idea you guy's prefer and I'll make a decision on it this weekend.
