Tajiri put into the ropes, but he hits the handspring elbow for 2. Kidman manages an arm wringer, gutshot, DDT, and 2. Kidman is definitely limping. Suplex attempt is countered - inside cradle by Tajiri gets 2. Kidman right, right, going for the suplex again - Tajiri drops down, right, right, scoop slam, cover, 2. Kidman whipped into the corner, no, reversal, Tajiri tries to climb the corner but Kidman follows him in with a clothesline. Gutshot by Kidman, forearm in the back, run into the corner...THIS time Tajiri slips out and applies the tarantula when Kidman comes in. Tajiri winds up for the KICK but Kidman ducks it - there's a Kidmanbomb! 1, 2, Tajiri puts the shoulder up! Kidman goes for a suplex - Tajiri down the back - scoop - reversal by Kidman - Tajiri drops down and kicks him in the head - and there *is* the KICK - 1, 2, 3! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new WCW cruiserweight champion. (5:09) Replay of those last two kicks - and Tajiri reacting after being handed the title belt WCW U.S. TITLE - RHYNO THE MAN BEAST (with Earlier Tonight - and RAW Credits) v. KURT ANGLE (with TV-14-DLV & CC boxes) - Big staredown in the middle of the ring. "USA!" Here we go - lockup, to the corner, rolling back and forth - Angle in control - referee "Blind" Mike Chioda manages to get them separated. Lockup again - Angle to the waistlock, rides him down - Rhyno counters to a hammerlock - Angle goes behind - German suplex! Rhyno blocks the second attempt and elbows out before Angle can go again - big clothesline by Rhyno. Right in the corner, right, opposite corner whip is reversed, but Rhyno puts up the elbow. Rhyno runs into a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Angle clothesline, clothesline, Rhyno duck, Angle block, right, right, right, right, chop, chop, chop, chop, right, opposite corner whip is reversed...Angle evades the splash and hits a flying jalapeno off the ropes. 1, 2, no. Say, I think Angle's in control! Angle right, chop, chop, into the ropes - no, Rhyno reverses and gets him in a Fireman's carry - airplane spin!! - and flips him into a nice neckbreaker. Rhyno gets 1. Angle's head meets the buckle. Rhyno with a kick, kick, kick. Rhyno drapes Angle's left leg over the second rope - right, right, right, now the RIGHT leg is draped over the opposite rope. Right hand. Rhyno winds up...SPEAR into the exposed abdomen! (No Shattered Dreams? Damn!) "USA" chant fires up but it's Rhyno in command. Right hand. But Angle comes back - right, right, right, right, right, off the ropes...ohhhhhhhh into a Rhyno spinebuster. Rhyno hooks the leg - but only gets 2. Angle backs into a corner - Rhyno stomp, stomp, stomp, standing on the neck for 4...and a bit longer - Chioda pulls him off. Choke on the bottom rope - elbow to the back of the neck to add effect. Angle fires back - right, right, right, right, right, clothesline...taking Rhyno outside. I have a hunch Angle will follow - yeah. Rhyno's head meets the barricade. Big chop from Angle. Chop. Head to the STEEL steps. Angle rolls in - and rolls back out. Rhyno back in control with forearms in the back - and a hard run into the barricade. Angle rolled back in - Rhyno in after him. Right hand. Off the ropes - swinging neckbreaker (of the alleged variety) gets 2. Snapmares him over - and grabs the headlock. Angle all the way down - the crowd tries to bring him back. Angle to one foot - two feet - elbow, elbow, but Rhyno takes him down by what's left of his hair to stop the run into the ropes. Rhyno flips off the crowd! Angle grabs an ankle - but Rhyno grabs the bottom rope toot sweet. Angle right, right, Rhyno eye gouge to stop it. Rhyno snapmares him over - and goes back to the weardown hold. Crowd claps for Angle again...and Angle fights back again. Back to a knee - back up - elbow, elbow, break, right, right, right, into the ropes, reversed, wow RHYNO catches Angle into the belly-to-belly suplex. Rhyno hooks a leg - but only gets 2! Rhyno stomps on Angle. Stomp. Right hand to the back of the neck. Another overhand right. Too much gloating for Rhyno - Angle barrels him to the corner - right, right, right, right, chop, chop, into the ropes, reversed AGAIN, Angle ducks the clothesline, crossbody hits - Angle gets 2! Belly-to-belly blocked, Angle with a waistlock - Rhyno blocks THAT - elbow - off the ropes - Angle hits the belly-to-belly! Angle ducks a swing and manages the German suplex - and holds on for a second - STILL holding on - THREE! But that took a lot out of Angle - both men are down. It's Angle back up first - but Rhyno rams him into the turnbuckle - and clotheslines him down on the rebound. Both men are down again - crowd starts to sync on the clap. Chioda's count is up to 4 as they both get up - right by Rhyno - into the ropes is reversed..into an Olympic Slam!! But again, Angle is unable to follow up - crawling to a hook of the leg - 1, 2, NO!! Angle took too long to make the cover. Angle up slowly - now staggering to the ropes - he's going up - MOONSAULT! MISSES!! Rhyno's chance is now...but HE is slow to get up as well. Rhyno up - and awaiting Angle. Here it comes - GORE! GORE! GORE! but BOTH men are through the ropes to the outside! Honestly, I don't know if they'll beat the ten count here. Let's take an Xbox Replay. Rhyno muscles up Angle - dead weight - both men in at 7. Wow. Cover - 1, 2, Angle kicks out! Rhyno from his knees - right, right, right, right, right. Rhyno to his feet again..."USA!" Angle brought up - whip is reversed, Rhyno pulls him in and goes behind - Angle drops down and grabs an ankle - ANGLELOCK! AND RHYNO TAPS!!!!!!!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new United States Champion! (11:30) Reaction shot from Shane and Stephanie - and Vince and Linda - and back and forth about a MILLION times between them. Hey! I got a CRAZY idea - LET'S STOP LOOKING AT McMAHONS AND LOOK AT ANGLE! WWF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP: ACOLYTE BRADSHAW v. THE HURACAN (with Mighty Molly - or, as Lilian Garcia calls her, "Molly Holly") - say, did you notice how they did all the WCW title matches first and THEN the WWF ones? It's little things like that. Did you notice the European championship didn't get a nifty graphic like the WWF ones (but not the WCW ones) did last night at No Mercy? You didn't ORDER No Mercy? Oh. Hurricane with a...pose. Lockup, Bradshaw shoves him away. Bradshaw up, posing, off the ropes - Bradshaw shoulderblock. Pose - Hurricane psyching up...Bradshaw steps aside and tosses him. Bradshaw out after him - Molly decides to stand in front and stand her ground. Molly with a punch - Bradshaw blocks it and shrugs her away. Meanwhile, Hurricane has climbed to the top - hurriplancha - HOLY GEEZ HAYDEN he just tried to kill himself...Bradshaw does as well as he can to catch him but has to drop him because the head-first momentum is too great. Bradshaw picks him up as if he'd meant to drop him - Molly from behind...Bradshaw sets Hurricane in the ring and looks back - oh, she's gone. Oh well. Bradshaw back in the ring - big right hand. Right, right, overhand forearm to the back, into the ropes, Hurricane ducks, super(hero)kick, hurridropkick to the knees puts Bradshaw off his feet. Off the ropes, hurridropkick to the head. Now he wants a suplex - uhhh no. Bradshaw counters with a suplex of his own - half hour variety. Bradshaw with another forearm in the back. Bradshaw with a crossed arm neckbreaker (!). Molly to the top - pose - plancha - Bradshaw manages to catch her - looks like we'll get our contractually obligated fallaway slam...but not before Bradshaw gives Hurricane a big boot. Molly slides out of the ring on the bounce. Hurricane windmills...winding up - off the ropes - clothesline bounces off Bradshaw as if he were like wall. Bradshaw calmly delivers the Hades lariat, covers, and gets the fall 1, 2, 3. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a pattern. (3:09) Replay of the clothesline that doesn't work - and the one that does. If Faarooq were here, he'd probably say... "Damn." Ol' Uncle Zebekiah would be proud.

CRZ recap: (billy) KIDMAN v. REY MYSTERIO, JR. for the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship - nice pop for Rey as he makes his second return from that knee injury. Kidman has new music which isn't as cool as his last music - well, my opinion. This should be hot. Commentators are actually going to call it at the start, too! Lockup, to the rope, switch, break. Mysterio ducks another lockup attempt and puts on a waistlock. Standing switch. Kidman takes him to the mat and keep the hold on, Mysterio counters with an arm bar - Kidman gets his shoulders to the mat for 2. Kidman with a leglock, they're back up. Headlock by Kidman, he's wrenching it in. Mysterio power him out but Kidman knocks him down. Running the ropes, leapfrog, knees to the gut, headscissors by Mysterio. Whip, reverse, Rey does that spinning thing in the ropes he does. Kidman runs at him but is backbodydropped - he lands on his feet on the canvas, head to the gut, flying headscissors to come back in (wow!). Forearm by Kidman. Whip, Rey ducks but Kidman grabs him and puts him in the - Mysterio flips over and tries a gutwrench but they get to the ropes, Kidman shrugs him off and hits a dropkick for 2. Lots of counters and counter counters. Snapmare by Kidman, elbowdrop. We've crossed over into the third hour but no one's noticed, and they shouldn't, it's a good match. Reverse chinlock by Kidman here. Stomp on the chest and head. To the corner, whip out, Rey hits his back HARD and goes down. Elbow by Kidman, whip into the opposite corner, axehandle, kick, whip, reverse, Kidman up to make him miss but Mysterio hits a "jumping spin wheel kick." Now he's on the top rope - UNA PLANCHA! 1, 2, no. Whip, reverse, Kidman catches him and throws him over his head to slam him for 2. Rey tries to roll out of the ring but Kidman catches him on the outside of the ropes - suplex in attempt is blocked, blocked again. Rey suplexes him out of the ring! Kidman lands on his feet but grabs his knee. Referee "Blind" Billy Silverman puts the count on, so Rey goes out to get him. TV-14-V box is out - hmm, that's not the rating the first hour got. Lightning legdrop. What's the crowd chanting? 1, 2, no. Pounding by Kidman - Tigerbomb for 2. Back to the chinlock. Knee to the gut by Kidman, to the corner we go, whip out, Rey puts up a knee. Kidman manages to reverse a whip and hit a lariat. Oh, the crowd is chanting "Green Bay Sucks." Hey, fuck you Minnesota. 1, 2, no. Ratings box is still up there - something DREADFUL must be happening in the third hour for them to beat into our heads that it's a TV-14 rating. Whip, duck, Rey manages a headscissors to take Kidman out of the ring - Mysterio landing on the apron. Punch to Kidman as he tries to come back in - somersault splash by Mysterio to the floor. Kick to the head by Rey, another kick. Rey breaks the count and climbs to the top. Now Kidman is climbing to the top. Kidman hung on the top rope, Mysterio with a top rope guillotine legdrop. To the center of the ring, cradle for 2 by Rey. Ratings box is still there - go away! Elbows by Rey, Kidman fights back with elbows of his own. Scoop slam by Kidman. He's climbing to the top! Big splash finds nobody. Rey is going to climb to the top himself! He leaps - sits on him for 2! Arm bar - Rey is up, they're both down - no idea what that move is but it gets him two. Forearms by Rey. Kidman manages another powerbomb for 2. Both men up super slow. To the corner - bulldog by Kidman. Kidman to the top - ratings box still there - Rey crotches him on the top rope. Rey climbs up - huracanrana time but both men are down. Count is on, Rey is up for the cover - 1, 2, no. Crowd is booing?! Fuck you, Minnesota. Whip, reverse, gobehind, what was that? Mysterio drives his head into the mat. 1, 2, no. Mysterio signals and climbs the ropes, Kidman dropkicks him as he splashes and the bell rings. Time limit draw? Yup, so sayeth Charles Robinson. (12:23)

Recap please. How many times has Bret beaten Goldberg (including the Washington screwjob) anyway? Four? Five? CRZ recap: BRET CLARKE v. COLD BEER in a first round tournament matchup (Group 1) and also for the United States Heavyweight championship - Hart with a Savage limp to the ring. I think if Goldberg wouldn't be inhaling all that pyro smoke, he probably wouldn't make all those weird faces while walking to the ring. Entrance is (2:54). Lockup, to the corner - clean break. Lockup, to the ropes, Goldberg with knees in the gut - whip attempt is reversed, so Goldberg runs over him instead. Press slam into a Meltdown. Hart claws to the corner, then punches away on Goldberg - Goldberg punches twice as fast. Single leg takedown - anklelock on the broken ankle - Hart grabs the ropes almost immediately. Clean break, Hart goes outside. After a pause, he's back in. Lockup, Hart takes him to the corner - right, right, right, right, Goldberg with an elbow to the top of the head. Right hand from Goldberg. Goldberg wrenches back on the bad leg. Kick to the gut, kick, kick, grabbing the bad leg - pulling him into the center. "Ask him!" Referee "Blind" Mickey J. asks him - Hart says not yet. Goldberg to the leglock - Hart refusing to submit. Goldberg lets go and asks the ref again if he'll stop the match. Nope. Goldberg with a kneelift. Whip into the corner hard. Another whip - and Hart's leg buckles. Again he asks J. to check on Hart - who refuses. Goldberg going for the spear - but Hart puts his right leg up to block it. Now throwing elbows - sleeper applied! Goldberg backs him into the turnbuckle - but Hart holds on as he walks out! Goldberg snapmares him over to break the hold - but Hart lands on the ref! Goldberg dumps Hart over the top rope to the floor - and Hart goes RIGHT to the bad leg. Here's the OUTSIDERS and SID VISCOUS. Goldberg does all right until Sid is in with a big boot. Hall hits his chokeslam but fails to imitate the Giant afterwards. Sidewalk slam from Nash! Vicious with a powerbomb. Everybody scatters. Bret Hart, having seen none of this (suspend your disbelief with me, come on!) slowly gets in the ring - Mickey J., also come to, sees the cover and counts - 1, 2, 3!!!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new United States Heavyweight Champion - and we're so out of time that the announcement will have to wait! (7:52)

Last three matches? Okay here are the recaps. Recaps by John Petrie (he sucks but can't find any others for this show): RAY TRAYLOR vs. SCOTT NORTON (w/ Vincent) They show Traylor getting his ass kicked last week. The ref then looks on dumbly as Traylor fights off an attack by Vincent. As I mentioned last week, Traylor looks like hell. I've never seen him as overweight as he currently is. Norton wins this one after Vincent sprays Traylor in the eyes with black spraypaint. Norton covers for the pin. Post-match Traylor, "half blind", attacks Norton and Vincent. Konan, Hennig and Scott Hall run in to assist in the gang beating of Traylor. WCW cuts away from this potential homicide to run a DDP/Savage promo. LEX LUGER vs. BOOKER T. (w/ Jacquelyn) You know the standard Luger match: Luger takes 99% of the punishment, "Hulks up" and applies the Torture Rack. I guess Lex decided he wasn't being allowed to look awesome enough, because this time around he slipped in a few offensive moves before his usual comeback. As Luger tries to put Booker in the Rack a fan in the background can be seen hoisting a friend of his up in the Rack! Everyone around them watches as the guys is bouncing up and down in the Rack. Funny stuff. Luger eventually does get Booker into the Torture Rack for the win. SCOTT HALL vs. SCOTT STEINER (w/ Ted DiBiase) Poor match. Two-thirds of it consisted of the two trading restholds. Steiner did a nice belly-to-belly suplex near the very end. Hall eventually knocks out the ref (who had very clearly and obviously moved into position to get knocked out). Steiner gets Hall with a double- underhook suplex, but no ref. Hall then puts Steiner in the Outsider's Edge. In comes a black referee (presumably Vincent-the only black member of the NWO) wearing a black hood with eye holes, to make the three count.

Eagles won!? I won? Do you believe in miracles? YES!!!! *riot ensues*

MLB: -Last three years A's in the ALDS especially Game 3 of '01 and games 3 thru 5 of this year. I say three because in 2000 I was just happy they were there. -'88 World Series Game 1, duh. -'92 ALCS Game 4, was at the game where Eckersley gave up his 2nd big postseason homerun this time to Roberto Alomar which pretty much wrapped up the series for the Blue Jays. A's blew a 5-0 lead late and a chance to tie the series. NFL: -'90 NFC Championship Game, Roger Craig fumbles late in the game and Giants drive down the field to kick a last second field and the 49ers lose a chance to win a 3rd straight Super Bowl. -'91 regular season game 49ers at Falcons. 49ers lose on a hail marry which all but eliminates from making the playoffs marking the first time I'd ever had a memory of them not making the playoffs. My postgame tirade was not pretty to say the least. -'89 regular season game 49ers vs. Bills. I was at the game and the 49ers won easily but before the game I slammed the car door on my thumb. FUCK that was painful.

Shit I forgot to put in tiebreak points. Oh well with three differing picks could only end up tying if their is a tie game in one of them, which with my luck is now a lock to happen.

Recap please. CRZ recap: WWF HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP: ROB VAN DAM v. THE ROCK - We take a good twenty or thirty seconds waiting out a "Rock E" chant before first contact. Here we go: lockup, side headlock by the Rock...chain wrestling to a hammerlock, reversal by van Dam to a side headlock of his own - Rock powers out - shoulderblock by van Dam. Off the ropes, up and over, leapfrog by the Rock (okay, we've seen this THREE times tonight), Rock with a belly-to-belly throw. van Dam goes to the corner - right by Rock, right, whip into the opposite corner, reversed, van Dam with a superfluous somersault and monkey flip out. van Dam with a leg sweep as Rock gets up - off the ropes with the Rolling Thunder senton - and gets 2. Boot to the head, stomp, forearm, into the ropes, reversed by Rock, head down, van Dam kicks. van Dam off the ropes - Rock steps aside and tosses him over the top to the outside. Rock is out after him. Cole: "The Rock is a class act - no whining, no complaining after losing the WCW title at No Mercy, giving Y2J his due..." Cole, are you NUTS? He's brought up the damn chair EVERY CHANCE HE'S HAD. He's a WHINER. WHINY ROCK WHO IS A WHINER, I should be calling him. Anyway, Rock (who is a whiner) walks van Dam over to the barricade - but it's van Dam with the body shot - right, right, Rock with a face rake - and into the barricade. van Dam crawls up the ramp - Rock decides to help him up - right is blocked, van Dam with a right - right - right they're up to the stage now - gutshot by van Dam, elbow, elbow, whip is reversed into a short clothesline by the Rock! Rock takes a trip to the other side of the stage - builds up a head of steam - and runs into a heel kick from van Dam! van Dam with a tumbling run splash on the stage - may have hurt him just as much as the Rock. van Dam manages a cover - 1, 2, no! Give it a Replay. van Dam with a kick in the back. Crowd with a "Rock E" chant. Rock with a gutshot - facefirst into the STEEL! van Dam starts rolling down the ramp - Rock catches him - got him by the hair - knee in the gut - knee - back into the barricade - they're out at ringside again - Rock finds a chair - ROCK FINDS A CHAIR?!? AFTER ALL THAT WHINING ABOUT JERICHO ROCK GOES FOR A CHAIR? Oh, but it's LEGAL in this match - so Rock's NOT a WHINY WHINER, right? van Dam runs up with a kick before Rock can swing - forearm to the face. Rock SHOT into the ringpost - Rock bounces off into the timekeeper's area, generally causing chaos. van Dam throws some more weaponry in the ring and returns to Rock - kick, kick, right. van Dam wants one more garbage can - oops, took too long. Forearm in the back by the Rock - right - rolled into the ring...Rock follows. Rock with a right. Into the corner is reversed, van Dam with a textbook dropkick to the face. van Dam grabs a chair - running start - running dropkick to the chair to the face!! 1, 2, Rock kicks out! van Dam stomps. Garbage can set up in the corner - back to Rock, gutshot, whip - reversal - reversed back to the first corner - and Rock follows up with a clothesline! Rock sees the garbage can - and pulls it out of the corner - back to van Dam - who gets the boot up. van Dam vaults to the top - no, Rock pulls him off and ONTO THE CAN! 1, 2, van Dam kicks out (oh COME ON)! Give THAT a replay. Rock is the first man up - right hand. Scoop...van Dam back to his feet - Rock catches a kick - ducks an enzuigiri - and locks in a Sharpshooter!! van Dam reaches for the ropes - but Rock pulls him back!! Crowd is loud. Well lookee here - SHANO out from the crowd, pulling referee "Blind" Earl Hebner out of the ring, clothesline to Rock's back...and DDT. Shane starts...bouncing. van Dam directed to the top - Fivestar frog splash HITS! Shane shoves Hebner back into the ring - van Dam is still recovering - FINALLY covers and hooks a leg - 1, 2, NO!! Shane comes back in to argue the count. Well, BILLIONAIRE VINCE is out - Shane leaps over the barricade and runs out - Vince follows - they're over the tech table! - and now we're looking back to the ring. van Dam has a chair - here, catch this - van Daminator DUCKED - Rock with a gutshot - and DDT on the chair! Hey Rock, you didn't like it when CHRIS JERICHO used the Stroke on a chair to YOU...whiner. Rock labours to cover van Dam and grab a leg - 1, 2, kickout. van Dam never gets pinned, folks. TEST TEST THIS IS A RUN-IN - gutshot - Meltdown - waiting for Rock to get up to throw the....no, CHRIS THURSDAY JERICHO out - bulldog on Test, and clotheslining him out! Now NAPPY T is out - Harlem sidekick *obliterates* Jericho and puts him outside. Rock is up! Right, right, right, right, right, NOW KISS THAT RIGHT and T is out of the ring - van Dam from behind with a gutshot, elbow, elbow, into the ropes, reversed, spinebuster by the Rock....oh boy....Rock positions him...elbowdrop removed - off the ropes - T HOOKS THE ANKLE! Rock gets up from the trip - T brains him with a trashcan - van Dam with an inside cradle - 1, 2, 3. (11:09) Sure, van Dam pinned Big Show and Rock this week - but it's okay, 'cause Austin pinned HIM at the pay-per-view. Pfffffff. T&T, who had been working over Jericho on the outside, bring Jericho in and divvy up against Rock and Jericho. Amazingly, NOBODY comes out to save these guys. Play Booker T's music! Here's a replay of how Rock lost. And of course, the last thing we hear...is Cole shilling a McMahon/McMahon Street Fight on Monday. THIS will bring the ratings? I don't know...maybe it would be better if they could somehow insert Austin's watch into the main event...

I think a team of drunk midgets could beat Illionis 34-21.
-
God damnit my Sarcasmotron is on the fritz. Maybe if you didn't have the Giants avatar I would picked up on it so figure you were serious...ahhh oh well.
-
Um...Hurricane and Lance Storm were WCW Tag Champs?!?!?! God damnit typo....thanks for pointing it out. Hardyz were the champs so the match was just for the tag titles. Hardyz had won them against Booker T & Test a couple of weeks earlier.

Bah I refrained from posting it originally because I don't think setriods is even close to the only reason why a player might hit more homeruns and the delution of pitching talent and smaller stadiums have contributed to homerun increase more than steroid use. I probably would have never posted it if the timing of Bonds joining this company and breaking the homerun record didn't coincide with each other so well. What you think he isn't on roids? Take off the black and orange colored glasses. I don't even know why Barry ever got involved with this company because his place in history as an all-time great was already set without the homerun records. Oh and I agree with the post about Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery's names being more significant than Bonds in all of this but hey got to go with the biggest name out there.
-
Eh maybe but they lost to a now red hot Auburn team and now Florida seems to be turning their season around. The fact that they both came at home maybe indicates they were ranked too high but hey they got off to a hot start. All I know is Texas is ranked too high as in still ranked.
-
Uh oh...this topic is gonna get ugly now. I'll just say Jericho winning the Big Gold Belt makes the show.
-
Well shut my mouth now its 33-28. Edit: And Arkansas bails Florida out...Gators hang on.
-
Damn Ron Zook might get a contract extension now after two dominating wins on the road against high ranked teams. Ah the fickle world of college football.
-
God I remember in the early 90s at school EVERYONE had Sharks sweaters, hats, or parkas even though none of them could probably name one player on the team. How in the hell would anyone even know that that one sweater is for the Stars?

Amazing how this is the only match they ever had. Televised anyway. They faced each other on Smackdown at least twice off the top of my head - the first week the Radicalz were in WWE (2/3/00 I believe was the airdate) and after No Mercy 2000 Benoit won a rematch and the Radicalz reformed on Smackdown. Jason Yes their first meeting was the infamous Smackdown where Eddy broke his arm when the Revolution had to take on D-X to earn jobs. I don't know about the night after No Mercy though as Benoit faced Road Dogg on Raw. Don't remember off the top of my head of them wrestling in each other 1-on-1 again. Edit: Just looked it up and Benoit did beat Triple H on the November 2nd Smackdown that year.
