Actually from what is rumored the Gator Bowl will take West Virginia over Texas, dropping the Longhorns to the Alamo Bowl.

See Rutgers is a good example of why the bowl system in general needs an overhaul. If they win in overtime they go to a BCS bowl and a $14+ million payout to play a 10+ win team. If they lose in overtime they are heading to the Texas Bowl and a $750k payout to play a 6 win team. Does that make any sense at all?

All I'll say right now is that I don't know who's playing in the Bored Bowl as of yet even though all the title games are decided.

This is one of the most entertaining games all year.

I fairly certain Smues just made typo. That is the potential silver lining and really the resolution I was hoping for all along but I have serious doubts Florida is going to jump Michigan. Besides there's still plenty of time for Arkansas to make it a ball game. Also on the brightside of things I still had no desire to see the tradtional Rose Bowl match-up in a game that wasn't the Rose Bowl almost as much as not wanting to see a rematch game. No. Buhner's trade for Ken Phelps is a part of pop culture thanks to Seinfeld but he certainly won't be part of the HOF. Very consistent peformer when he was a line-up but he had several injuries at various parts of his career and only played more than 100 games once during the final four years of his career. Even if he had been healthy it's unlikely he would have kept up a level of performance high enough to warrant HOF consideration. His Gold Glove in 1996 was a complete joke even by the very low standards of the Gold Glove awards.

nogoodnick didn't submit picks on time and checking his profile he hasn't be on the board in a week. If he does show up before Saturday's kick off I'll still let him submit partial picks.
