And Arabs and others...glad we "learned the lesson of September 11th!"
-
What's lost is that it's not just Mexicans crossing, either.
-
Well, it says "gunmen" and says that the Guard was forced to retreat, so put 2 and 2 together. I know they want to come here. The irony is that we treat illegal immigrants in this country much, much better than Mexico treats illegal immigrants from Central America coming into their country. Add in the fact that Mexico encourages people to illegally come to the US to support the Mexican economy, and it's a disgusting situation. But we have to pretend that Mexico is a great neighbor of the US.

You're right. You know what I can't wait for? KKK type groups lynching Mexicans, while crime rates in major cities go through the roof. Pretty soon government schools will be mandated to start teaching Spanish. The '60s were so great, our government decided we should go through it again!

What brings you here, trocobob? -
Couldn't anyone just say "I didn't post that, someone hacked my account," though?

I thought the show last night was hilarious. My one complaint is that it's hard to buy this whole Jan and Michael relationship. There's been basically no explanation why Jan would be remotely attracted to Michael, unless I missed something completely. I thought the PMSing comment was amusing.

Here's a fun story. Our National Guard attacked again. Expect the mainstream media to ignore this completely. Yep, no war going on here! http://www.azcentral.com/12news/news/artic...ory0104-CR.html Guardsmen overrun at the Border 12 News Jan. 4, 2007 02:44 PM A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona's border with Mexico. According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state's West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat. advertisement The Border Patrol will not say whether shots were fired. However, no Guardsmen were injured in the incident. The Border Patrol says the incident occurred somewhere along the 120 mile section of the border between Nogales and Lukeville. The area is known as a drug corridor. Last year, 124-thousand pounds of illegal drugs were confiscated in this area. The Border patrol says the attackers quickly retreated back into Mexico.

I kind of think a Conway/Venis team would be decent...the only problem is that Val Venis is a step below being a modern version of Tito Santana, and everyone knows it.

I don't know...this could be a pretty big coup if WWE really does get to work with Donald Trump. I mean, he's a controversial figure with huge name recognition, he has a well known and successful TV show...seems like it could be something big for WWE if they play their cards right.

I think they actually have something with Thorn. He seems decent in the ring, and he doesn't do any really weird or stupid gimmick stuff, other than dressing a little gothish. Plus, Ariel has a unique look and is easy on the eyes. I think they're better off with him as a solo wrestler than if they had put him in a stable of vampire types.

I never watched one episode, and now I never have to hear that damn "California...CALIFORNIAAAAAAAAA!" song again! Yay!

Heard Tomo Ohka is now being courted by the Mets and Nationals...I like Ohka, but it kind of shows you how desperate teams are for decent pitching. Guess Washington would be safe for Tomo, now that Robinson isn't the manager anymore.

Stuff like that is why I can't watch college football. I don't care about "strength of schedule" or some computer program determining rankings. Why don't they just use a system that makes some damn sense?

Just heard a story about some 10 year old kid killing himself after seeing the video. Nice job, media.

Mine was pretty good. Started my own business, which is exciting, and going well so far. Don't miss my old job, though I do actually miss some of the people I work with. We also moved into our first house, which definitely beats apartment dwelling. My grandfather passed away in June, but he was 86 and had a good life, so it's hard to be too upset about it.

How to convert your Showbiz Pizza into a Chuck E. Cheese
Dobbs 3K replied to spman's topic in Food Folder
Anyone else remember the commercials in the '80s where the two chains were constantly ripping on each other? I remember a Showbiz commercial that showed a parody of Chuck E. Cheese made to look like an ugly rat. It was hilarious. -
This seems like something the FDA should be looking into at large, not individual cities.

They announced Punk would be wrestling Holly next week. Can't have him on every single show, you know.
-
La Resistance coming back? What next, are they going to have Umaga become Jamal again and re-form 3MW? Let's bring back everyone from RAW's shittiest period.

I don't understand why they couldn't put Sid over Hogan, in what was supposed to be Hogan's last match, but I'm sure Hogan's ego was the reason there.
-
Well, Sirius is headed by Mel Karmazin, who is something of a radio wizard, so I would think they should be doing OK. Kind of seems like it would be inevitable that the two companies would eventually merge, but people said the same thing about Dish and DirecTV, too.
-
Yes, Spivey was eventually derailed by injuries, but I'm referring to his late '80s/early '90s NWA run. Waylon Mercy didn't come around 'til '94 or so. Sid isn't hard to figure out...he was tall, ripped, and had long blonde hair. He was like a tougher looking version of Hulk Hogan, without the balding and yellow trunks.

OK, I missed something...why is everyone always on Czech about stuff? He's always seemed like a relatively inoffensive poster to me. I'm not complaining about it, I just don't get it.
