I get that every now and then and I run windows ME. is there a way to do that for that OS?

Some of the movesets are HIGHLY inaccurate, such as Andre the Giant... a friend did a CAW Andre and some of the move he was pulling off I could not believe... unless they were moves that he used to do when he was a lot younger.

::chuckles:: unless she's hardcore into football, that might be asking too much.

Being and RPG mark almost as long as a wrestling mark, I thought I would ask the question. I loved playing Baldur's Gate: Deadly Alliance on the PS2. And the replay value isn;t *too* bad, considering that you can always retry the story line in order to get better magical weapons, which are downright insane on the extreme level. Toss in the level warp code and you could skip around to better areas. I play the game right now just to max out the characters I use, currently the dwarf and the human archer. Playing the sorceress is a pain, but once you get ball lightning, you own all who stand against you. I've seen pics of D&D Heroes, which is made by Snowblind Studios, the same company that made BG:DA. From what I have seen, it has a lot of promise, and four players can play this time around.... it gives hope to BG:DAII, which I think is coming out in November. Questions? Comments?

um, its better to say not at all.... a comedy twist to the Machines/Midnight Rider angle.... sounds good to me, even though I won't see a recap until Velocity on Saturday night.

::is just blown away, and gets an urge to go visit Sakura for a weekend::

its fun to play two player mode, working as a team... my girlfriend and I used to play all the time, her with her maxed-out sorceress, me with my near maxed out dwarf..... the only problem is that whats-her-name at the end is near impossible on the extreme level.

either 5 or 6pm EST...

::wonders just how much $$ Sakura has if she is buying original cabinets, while not doubting for a second that she knows how to fix them::

Damn Sakura, and I thought my ex-roommate was the most hardcore about a particular fighting game... with her, it was Street Fighter... heh, I met her in a mall arcade back in 93, while playing SFII.... Heh, seems that I have met her mirror image.

Oh I know... it serves him well in the books, but in the game it doesn't do much. The novelty of playing Drizzt wore off after about 15 minutes.

Is it me, or is there a slight reversal trend going on in the E? Backing away from the crappy and overdone, and starting to do the right thing, even if it is a small thing? Nah... can't be.

lets put it this way: inthe case of the Yankees, they do NOT have the umpires or the league front office in their back pocket. They simply have an owner who is borderline manical about winning, so he goes out and gets the best players he can. THAT'S why the Yankees won so much. But even I, a Yankee fan from 1976, don't think that they should win every year, and I don;t see MLB "fixing" things to ensure that they do. If anything, since that "luxury tax" was established, MLB is try to make sure that the Yankees *don;t* win every year, thanks to the bitching and whining of "small-market" teams that would rather pocket the money they make from ticket sales and the like instead of trying to improve their ball club. In the case of the Lakers (being a fan of Showtime in the 80s), David Stern with Kobe Bryant is like Vince McMahon with HHH and hosses. Stern wants the next Jordan, and Kobe is the closest thing to it (I would say too close to being the next MJ, but thats my opinion), so Stern will do what he can to tip the scales in the Lakers' favor, and he got found out during Game 3. I'm down on the Lakers because of Phil Jackson's arrogance wrapped in a cloak of Zen Master bullshit, I severely dislike the attitude of Shaq (hence my gloss of him being the World's Biggest 12 Year Old), for his refusal to stay in shape and taking care of injuries when they occur instead of costing his team a 5-15 record without him, and while I respect Kobe to all hell, his selfishness and desire to be the next MJ has also cost his team wins since day one, not to mention the overall insufferable attitude of the team when they DO win, which has gotten worse and worse with every championship they have gotten. I shudder to think how high the arrogance factor will be if the Lakers do manage to win the championship this year.

improving your in-ring skills work two-fold. First it makes you look better on both offense and defense (taking bumps) and it helps to prevent you from injuring someone in the ring, not to *even* mention injuring yourself. Second, in the case of Goldberg, he's already (a little bit) over, so if he improved himself to say, Brock's level (say what you will about him being a hoss, but he does have an amateur wrestling background from Minnesota, along with Shelton Benjamin) in my mind if he gave the fans a taste of something new, exciting and just as intense as he seems to always be, it would get him even more over. an improved ring product is a small, but important step Vince and the boys would have to take if they want to save this slowly sinking ship, though it doesn't appear that they want to.

Anyone can see that the Jazz are just too old and slow to keep up with the Kings... I was surprised that Sacramento lost the other night... Moving on, I could see Orlando taking the Eastern Conference Championship, though the only two teams that can unseat them are Milwaukee and New Jersey. They will play one of those teams. although if and when they knock off the Pistons (then I can start laughing at Detroit as a sports town... you should have seen the long, saddened faces around here when the Red Wings became a victim of their own arrogance, priceless), and seeing Philly as they're possible next opponent... seeing Iverson and T-Mac going shot-for-shot will be absolutely EPIC. But I do have to say that anyone who wins the East with the possible exception of the Nets are going to be the sacrificial lamb for the Western Conference Champ.... although another way of looking at it is that the way things are shaping up, whomever comes out of the West is going to be beaten all to hell, possibly making in interesting series for a hot team out of the East, who has maybe has lost no more than say, five or six games in their playoff series run. if the Wolves HAVE to lose, I pray they make the Lakers EARN it. Inch by hard-fought inch.

now THAT is what you call GOLD.

After going through all of the hell to make him a playable character, I found that unlocking Drizzt was more than a little disappointing... you cannot change his weapons, which are average at best, through you can trick him out with armor and magic items.... I was quite disappointed by it... though I mark for Salvatore as an author, just being able to play Drizzt is not quite enough for me.

on another note, TNN gets my respect for playing the Highlander series, in effing ORDER no less. I had forgotten just how gorgeous Tessa was.

I loved the first NBA Street, even though I bought it a year after release, what little I saw on TV has me anticipating getting it once I clear enough funds to do so... There wasn't very much they could do to make it better, but somehow they did...

Well, Test is a lot taller than him--although only by a few inches. He had the long hair forever, but few people other than HHH are allowed to have long hair. The reason they made Test look like Gunn is that Gunn is the idealized tall, muscular, whitebread guy that Vince likes to push. It's "the look" which is more important to Vince than "talent," "charisma," or "ability to connect with the crowd." I think the minimal height you need for a serious push is 6'2". Angle and Austin are both that height, and so is Matt Hardy (which gives me hope for him to be pushed big once his character really blossoms and his ring work is smoother). 6' or below--you're midcard for life. Nah, they started changing Test in HHH Jr. right around the time HHH got injured.... only in a (slightly) larger package... I used to call him the poor man's HHH at the time because although his moveset didn;t change, they way he did thing screamed HHH at me, just before he got injured.... I'm 6' and I would be able to handle the midcard, as long as there was something in the midcard to shoot for.

with me, I could really care less about the size of the wrestler as long as he has ability to make what he does both on offense and taking bumps look BELIEVEABLE. I may be new to smarkdom, but I think that is part of what workrate is about. Big Show was decent in WCW, even though he had a more limited moveset (not like he has an extensive one now, but I digress). He actually amazed me with some of the things he would pull, like a dropkick on Chris Benoit and a jumping chokeslam.. he actually had decent physical ability during his first title run, but after that is when became nothing but a big joke.

Yeah no kidding... every version of Rogue Squadron/Leader has the trench run. Like it or not, its ingrained into the game.... personally they should go into the actual missions Rogue Squadron accomplished since the Battle of Endor... hell, I'm about to start re-reading the series for like the fifth or sixth time... side from the Zahn novels that set the table for the Eu and the Han Solo Trilogies (both of them), they're my favorite series to read. But I digress. Heh, I think instead of the Trench Run, they really should do the flight into the Death Star II from RotJ. Talk about difficult...

great review as always, Dames. One thing I am getting spoiled about is that you and Dr Tom and couple of others have a great way of describing matches, and I have gotten so accustomed to it that I get pissed when another writer basically glosses over the match, to the point where I think reviewing a match should ALWAYS be that way... I have always liked the move-by-move breakdown, and you have it down to a science.

He wasn't. IIRC, another Immortal discovered that "Adam Pearson" wasn't who he claimed to be. Methos was shot in the stomach, and his subsequent revival ruined his gig for whomever was nearby (I don't recall exactly, since I only saw this ep once). This is also back when Methos had a distinctive Quickening. Eventually, he got the same sound effect everyone else did, but for a while, you KNEW it was him. Which seems appropriate, IMO. That makes sense.. It just seemed to me that he could hide anyplace from any Immortal, and chose to reveal his aura/presence when he wanted to... While I'm not a big fan of either, I also don't think they're as bad as they get (dis)credit for being. Damon was actually very good as Jason Bourne, I felt. His minimalistic approach to the part was perfect, and the constantly busy eyes were a nice touch. Aside from being overexposed, my dislike of Ben (granted I lump Matt in there because I haven't seen Bourne Identity yet and they're best friends) spiked after seeing Daredevil... He wasn't *bad* playing the role of Matt Murdock, but he didn't really bring anything to the role. It could have been a better movie with another actor playing lead, instead the studio played it safe with a marketable name. I kind of have the same argument with Jennifer Garner as Elektra. It was a little difficult to believe her as a young woman of Greek descent with *no* ethnicity. I remember her back in her heyday inthe comics.. just by looking at her you KNEW she was Mediterranean. I hope so. They'd best hurry, lest Adrian Paul run into the same problem Christopher Lambert faced: he's hitting middle age, playing a man who doesn't grow old. I think Paul is ~44, so they're running out of time to really cash in on him. With the series' seasons being released on DVD, this would be a great time to cash in on any added visibility the franchise is getting. He's 44? Damn, I didn't think he had topped 40 yet... the man has good genes, because I never would have put his age that high.... in that case, I agree... wrap up the whole thing and bring it to a close.. I would love to know what happens when Duncan is the only one left. ::sighs as he has a little trouble with the quoting system::

I love it, she hasn't been on TV for one second and she has tons of love and support (not to mention lust) of most of the people on this board. Priceless. She's got looks and ability, now if she has ANY mic skills at all, I'm a mark for life.
