So if he can't drink tea like the rich folk, does that mean he's out of the country club? Too bad he left because now he won't post about getting kicked out and we'll never know.

    ROH 8/16/2003 Results

from 1wrestling: LOW KI ISSUES APOLOGY OVER INCIDENT LAST WEEKEND AT RING OF HONOR by Mike Johnson Updated: 8/19/2003 3:40:34 PM Low Ki issued the following statement of apology regarding an incident that happened at the end of the Ring of Honor event this past Saturday in Fairfield, CT: An unfortunate series of incidents happened at last Saturday Night's ROH show in Fairfield, Connecticut, a series of incidents for which I owe an apology. I was scheduled to work the last match of the night with my best friend Dan Maff. We both like to work a strong style, especially for the demanding ROH audience. For many reasons, on Saturday Night, everyone in ROH was determined to put on a solid show. One of those reasons was because the crowd was less than expected, and we all wanted to make a great impression in this new market for ROH, so the next time we came back everyone in attendance would bring a friend to see this awesome promotion put on a great show. In the early stages of this, the last match of the night, I hit Dan Maff with an errant kick which knocked him for a loop. There was no way to continue the match. He was out. It was my fault. I have no excuse for what happened next. Outside the ring, I hit ROH cameraman Doug Gentry. I was so upset about what had just happened and was not in full control of my actions. I was out of line, and without sounding corny, I broke the code. The code of ROH, the code of this industry, and the code of this very professional and proud locker room. I offer no excuses for my actions, as they were inexcusable. I only offer an apology, and wish there was a way for me to express just how sorry I am for my unprofessional display. I hope in future I will have the opportunity to be a better representative of the company and of this business. Low Ki

    Bishoff/Linda/Shane/WCW/etc...

Isn' t Linda his boss? Why didn't she just fire him? Was little Stephy asleep in her room down the hall? Was the cameraman blocking the door? If she was going to call security, wouldn't they have already known he was on the grounds? Does ringing the doorbell over and over secretly open the door?

    MLW (Major League Wrestling)

I upgraded my satellite package just last week to specifically get MLW. I didn't know much about it going in last week and was suprised at how ECW it felt. It was good to see Terry Funk and some of the others. Is the Summer Apacolypse a show they'll eventually be showing on tv, a ppv or is it just for the live crowd? I saw Vampiro on CMLL this weekend. He shaved his head and doesn't wear facepaint any more. Not sure how long he's been going with that look.

WNBA player charged with sexual assault

SportsLine.com wire reports LOS ANGELES -- Former WNBA player Latasha Byears, who helped the Los Angeles Sparks to two league championships, is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a former teammate, a television station reported. Byears and three men who have no connection to the Sparks allegedly raped the victim at a party following a June 5 game against the Sacramento Monarchs at Staples Center, KCOP-TV reported Tuesday night. No one has been arrested, but the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said Wednesday there is an investigation involving several male and female basketball players. Sheriff's Deputy David Cervantes would only say a report was taken in the case. The Sparks waived Byears on June 10, five days after the alleged incident. She did not play in a June 7 game against the Monarchs in Sacramento because she was dealing with a personal matter, team officials said at the time. Sparks spokeswoman Kristal Shipp said Wednesday the team has been contacted by authorities and is cooperating. "We are aware of the serious nature of the police investigation and we are cooperating in every way," she said in a statement. "We don't know the facts, so until the investigation and the judicial process, if there is one, are completed, it would not be appropriate for us to make any comment." Latasha Byears and three men allegedly raped a former Sparks teammate.(AP) Byears, 30, was traded by Sacramento to the Sparks in 2000. She spent four years with the Monarchs but had troubles on and off the court. She pleaded no contest to reckless driving in 2002 and was suspended for one game. Later that year she was suspended for two games after throwing a ball at Michelle Marciniak's face during a game against the Seattle Storm. Byears, who is no longer playing in the WNBA, ranks eighth all-time in field goal percentage (.514) and is among the top 10 rebounders in league history. She averaged 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds this season. Known as "Tot," a nickname given by her grandmother, Byears played at DePaul and was a second-team All-America as a junior in 1994-95 and was a first-team selection as a senior. In an article published in the July issue of GQ magazine, Byears referred to herself as the toughest player in the WNBA and said she wanted to open a restaurant or a nightclub when her playing days ended. "I been in this league six years now. I came in through the back door," she told the magazine. "But I'm leaving through the front, side and middle. Man, roll the red velvet out for me, 'cause I'm the boss." AP NEWS The Associated Press News Service Copyright 2003, The Associated Press, All Rights Reserved

    Satellite Luring Away Cable Subscribers

Is Dish Network available in your area? Because they have some really cheap packages to where even if you had to dish out a little bit for extra rooms, it would pay off in the long run. I switched from Comcast to DirecTV and I love it and pay less and have it in 3 rooms.

    Mad Mikey Interview

This is a recap of an interview done on 8.03.03 on the radio show "Get in the Ring". It is an interview with Mad Mikey (formerly known as Crash Holly) Get in the Ring Radio airs live Sundays at 7 p.m. EST on WLIE 540 AM in NY/NJ and live over the internet at www.wlie.com. The shows are archived at www.getinthering.tv (Pardon our appearance while the new and improved GIR website launches in about 2 weeks- Stay tuned!!) Sir A asks why Mikey is so mad these days- to which Mikey jokingly responds look where I used to work. In fact, he says if you hang out with Steven Richards you'd be twice as mad. However, Mikey is not mad about his release from the WWE as it was a mutual decision. He admits that he had an argument with Brian Gerwitz, but does not believe that was the reason for his release. He spoke with Johnny Ace and indicated that he would be happier pursuing other options, i.e., NWA-TNA or Japan. Right now is the happiest he's been in years and he's having a lot of fun in TNA. He was very frustrated in the WWE as he believed that he, Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore should have been teamed up in 6 man matches. He thought that they would have gotten over well and they would have done a good job if given the chance. Vince Russo came up with the name Crash Holly and Mikey loves working with Russo. He is not close with Bob Holly but he really respects him and owes him the world because Bob took him under his wing and Crash would have never gotten over without Bob Holly. Sir A mentions that he associates the hardcore title with Mick Foley and Crash' s 24-7 period. Mikey says that Mick Foley is good at falling off the top of cages and landing on thumbtacks if that's a person's definition of hardcore but as far as getting the hardcore belt over, it was people like Tazz, Perry Saturn and the Mean Street Posse who really helped get the belt over in 2000. He adds that Foley is a legend especially when it comes to self-mutiliation but as for entertainment value 24-7 is one of Mikey's one of his proudest moments and he was honored and privileged to be involved with the program. He was not sad when the Hardcore belt was retired as it ran its course. Vince McMahon has hardest the job in the world. It is easy too second-guess him in hindsight but overall he has far more successes than failures. Mikey believes that a lot of people criticize HHH because everyone roots for the underdog and wants to see the top guy fall. When you're in a certain spot and have a lot of power, people want to see you fall. When he finally drops belt it will mean a lot because he has held it for so long. Mikey is looking forward to working with Raven and D-Lo Brown but is happy to work with whomever TNA officials want him to work with. The difference between the TNA and WWE locker rooms is like night and day. In his short stint with TNA, he has noticed wrestlers having more of a good time at the TNA shows. Although he wouldn't go back to the WWE right now if they approached him, he is not bitter and would go back one day. However, right now he is happy in TNA. He feels he would be big hypocrite if he said F the company as they were good to him for many years. He respects all the McMahons for getting in the ring even though they don't have to. His favorite wrestler to watch is Tommy Dreamer. He believes it is a shame that Tommy has not been given a chance and utilized better. 17. Just a heads up on TrimLife. You can no longer cancel via email/online. When you try to cancel it says that due to security purposes you have to call the 800#. I called and the lady cancelled it immediately and didn't even ask why I was cancelling.

    Favorite Raw Segment

I liked how in that said Women's Match, a heel beat a heel with a wrestling move. No run in, no silliness. I also like that Molly is even champ. After the failed Nowinski time period I thought she'd be on Heat forever.
  22. Question on the aol signup. When I click the aol it will either mail me a cd or download it now. I don't want to download it. Is that the only way to complete this offer by downloading their software?
  23. I aksed DH this, he said you can't under the same account, but you can sign up multiple accounts as long as the email and address are different. Email address change I can understand, but are you saying you must also have a different home address? Won't they check that when they run the credit card and won't it be declined if the address is different? Also, are signing up for different book clubs ok? If I sign up for book of the month is it ok to then sign up for history book of the month or kids book of the month and still get my points and cancel?
  24. Does this mean if they do it again in another month we can't do it if we do it this time? Because I don't want to miss out on this but at the same time I'm not extremely high on these two movies. If they do it again later for movies I'd rather have, will I not be able to do those because of this? Also, are there any offers you can't do again because they'll have a record of you having already signed up and cancelled?
