Yeah, that was my main concern getting used to Final Cut Pro (the fact that it was on a mac and I have little idea how to use them, and that it wasn't my mac and if I broke it i'd owe about $2000) but once you get the hang of it, its piss.

My only problem with using after effects etc was that it seemed to take ages on my laptop. Probably because of the age of it etc, but if I was putting some heavy effects on, it could take hours.

I don't mind him at all as a poster, but I have a feeling he'd be swayed to easily by his clique on decisions/leniency etc. Again, I don't have a problem with Leena, but I'd say from all the people that give her shit on a regular basis would be gone in minutes and the rest on zero tolerance. Also, with a ignore list that long, you wouldn't be able to moderate that well. On saying that, you might be 100x better mod then Kotz was. No offence Kotz. Personally, i'd give it back to AoO. Or maybe Black Lushus. Lushus seems to be straight down the middle and a decent dude.

Yeah, I have Adobe premiere on my laptop, but I haven't used it in a long time since I have access to decent iMacs and Final cut pro. Its so fucking slow, its unreal. I think the best deal I ever saw for a camera was on ebay. It was for an older model Canon semi-pro degital camcorder for about 300. I can't remember the model etc but for a semi-profesional camera it was a great deal. All that really needed changing was the rest for the eye-piece and it was a little tattered. If I had money at the time I would have snapped it up straight away. It might be worth checking ebay. Every now and again you find some seller from china with really cheap electronics.

is it 900 for everything? I'd agree with Vit-x about using final cut pro if you get a mac. But you'd probably need a decent mac if you were doing alot/ hardcore editing. As for the camera, personally i'd go for a canon. Being honest, the "best range" would probably set you back a good few grand. I'd say about 5k, if you wanted a really sweet setup (as in the mac/camera/software etc).
