I was that sleeping toddler in a bear costume. How is that like TNA booking? Only one run in on the whole show. Sounds like a solid show top to bottom.

Most shocked you have ever been while watching wrestling
Maztinho replied to Vampiro69's topic in General Wrestling
That Starcade count was so bad, my buddies dad who was bearly watching noticed that it was slower than some of the other counts. In fact my anal retentive friend went back over all the counts and the "fast count" was in reality the second slowest count of the night. And last really shocking thing? Hogan's turn. -
The season starts in two weeks. We can hold out.

I'm sure Utah would take him... if his ACL WASN'T TORN.

So they could call Dibs, and in the one in a million chance you meet the person of your attraction you would by law have precedence by the aforementioned Dibs. DIBS ON MICKIE! And now I'm first in line.

The Bulls could resign Deng and Gordon easily for what Kobe's contract was worth. If you gut the entire roster sans Deng for Kobe, you are not making the championship window bigger, you are making it immensely smaller by tying the entire ship to a man that has 12 years of NBA mileage on his legs already. If you think Kobe is the best player in the NBA, how much longer do you think that will last? a couple more seasons? With the team as is, Chicago can easily contend for the next 6-7 years for the East and be the right role player away from a championship team. Doing the Kobe trade that you proposed erases all of the progress. Rony Turiaf is not an NBA starter in any universe. Neither is Chris Duhon. Your Bulls team would struggle to make the playoffs in the East and quite frankly, are worse than todays Lakers. Kobe would put the kibosh on the trade in a heartbeat. If you have a legitimate superstar on your team, let alone two, the Bulls don't need a top-level point. Have you SEEN the fucking bums that the Cavs have been trotting out at the point for the last three years? But anyway, Duhon isn't much of a step down from Hinrich, and he sure as hell can't be a worse shooter. The offense still runs smoothly with him in there; it's the matter of the Bulls never being able to sustain runs and leads because their game has no mileage on it. If Gordon goes cold, which happens too damn often, they're fucked. If Deng goes cold, they might as well board the team flight then. Their offense is absolute ass in the paint, which was even more apparent in the playoff series with Detroit, because their perimeter offense doesn't get much better beyond Deng creating his own shot. There's nothing to take the focus off of their post offense, without a consistent shooter that can draw doubles. Maybe Deng can fit that mold with another year under his belt, but he's not going anywhere without help in the backcourt. Enter Kobe. The ideal trade is the one Ripper pointed out: Kobe, Farmar and Turiaf for Hinrich, Gordon, Wallace and Tyrus, with the Bulls being given the option to switch first-rounders in 2008 if so be it. If you want to break it down for Chicago... -we've established why Duhon can supplant Hinrich in the point role. If you don't feel confident in him, try Crittendon or Farmar. JamesOn Curry will also play a big role in the Bulls offense if this trade comes together. --even without the trade talks, I wouldn't want to re-sign Gordon for the money's he going to be asking for. It's going to be a choice between Gordon and Deng come 2008, and the decision's easy. --Wallace matches the salaries, but he's a perfect fit for the Lakers. He's what they need at the 5, and with Mihm and Odom out there, they're going to love him. --Tyrus Thomas = Joakim Noah. Trade him. The Lakers can then gut their rotation to [Hinrich, Gordon, Odom, Bynum and Wallace] as starters, with [Fisher, Sasha, Walton, Tyrus and Mihm] off the bench, with Crittendon and Karl contributing. That leaves Buss to get Vlad and Kwame on the first flight out of Los Angeles. The Bulls will come up with [Duhon, Kobe, Deng, Turiaf and Noah], with Farmar, Curry, Thabo, Nocioni, Gray and Joe Smith. Not a sexy team, but one without a weakness that can be exposed on a consistent basis. Kobe (and later Deng) commanding double teams leaves opportunities for a guy like Curry, and well, Curry, to burn teams. As said before, Turiaf, Noah and Gray can all become solid offensive contributors with an open lane. If this trade is even remotely possible, Paxson should do it. This is the best offer on the board outside of Phoenix. Rony Turiaf would never start ahead of Joe Smith. Smith and Noah would still be possibly the worst C/PF combination in the NBA. Would the Bulls be making the trade to win the East or to win the Championship. Getting by with iffy role players in the starting lineup may work when you have Kobe along with Shaq in his prime. This isnt 2000 and this isnt LA. You need a complete roster to win the NBA championship. The getting 2 superstars and letting the rest sort itself out by and large does not work. Especially when the second star is Loul Deng who is not a superstar. Houston found that out and Boston will this season. How would the Pistons not sweep this Bulls team? This Bulls team would be competing with Orlando for a playoff spot. Doesn't Beantown actually have 3 Superstars? And Houston is in the stronger west, in the East the Bulls could get it done and pull off something in the Finals, so you can't really put them in the same boat either. Why do you hate Turiaf? Did he steal your lunch money?

Actually I think the opposite is true. She has each character almost overly developed, so as to answer any possible question her rabid fanbase could possibly throw at her. It wouldn't surprise me if you asked some obscure question about a minor character, that she would have a reasonable answer for it.

Hawaii was struggling against Utah State earlier in the year. _Utah State_. The Utah 5A High School Champion could probably beat Utah State, and Hawaii struggled against them.

The only rule in Mini-Golf is basking in the awesomeness of the game. Not really an achievement, but does anyone else have "THE VOLCANO" hole in their local Putt Putts? This thing is the devil machine, and the geniuses at the local place put it next to the wandering river thing they have through the two outdoor courses. So I was getting frustrated with my 7 stroke lead on my friends evaporating on this hole, so I just said screw it, and popped one hard enough to send the ball into the water hazard. And then I got yelled at going into the water to retrieve my ball after they wouldn't give me another one. Jerks and their stupid Volcano hole.

I was the Mark Eaton of my Junior High gym class. They kept a tally of the schools block leaders, PPG, Assists and what not. We had three TA's and the teacher so there was usually only one game not being "scored" and they made sure everyone got an equal shot at "games that count" on the stats. Granted it was just random kids, but I averaged like 7 blocks a game vs 5 points per. Also people thought my "Most Blocks In a Game" record was a typo at 23. Stupid kid kept driving the lane when I had a foot of height on him. I'd block it out, they'd pass it back to this dip shit, and he come in and I'd do the same thing. We were supposed to be playing man, but "my guy" was trying to be Dennis Rodman so he'd never leave the paint so I could play a roving zone without getting in trouble. And the coach of the school team didn't think I had the skill to play on the team, even though 2/3 of the junior high team (Dennis included) was in my 7th grade gym class.

The only thing ECW deserves credit for is getting the ball rolling for wrestling to move away from the cartoony bullshit that dominated it at the time. The When Worlds Collide PPV had more influence over cruisers being used in North American wrestling promotions than their use in ECW did. Eddy, Dean, Chris and the rest of them were only there for a cup of coffee before heading off into WCW. And you're over-crediting ECW for Austin's success. A comment from Austin's ex-wife was the inspiration for his eventual nickname, the promo at KOTR coined him a marketable catchphrase and his feud with Bret Hart made him. ECW, at most, provided a template for his attitude. An attitude that was the main part of the gimmick. He didn't need Stone Cold in front of his name if the attitude was the same. The catchphrase stemmed from the attitude, so ECW's inspiration allowed Austin to become what he did. You could have had Stone Cold Dustin Runnels, with the exact same push and plug everything in with a different attitude and it fails.

I dunno the opening with Micheal being a Diva to Pam, and then apologizing calling her... [insert Irish Name from Million Dollar Baby] and her switching from elation to figuring out which movie he's watching to, "He's going to try and kill me" had me laughing through the commercial break. Kelly/Darryl back and forth was funny as well. Also, how can you not love, Mose don't throw the manure?

I shant stand for this besmirching of King Bookah's good name. How can you NOT like that character, possibly the best King of the Ring gimmick since Owen Hart.

You'd boo a man with a Pavlovian condition that makes him beat people up?

Wrestling Moves you busted out In Real Fights
Maztinho replied to I like Forums's topic in General Wrestling
A kid in Jr High tried a DDT or a choke from a standing position, but I was able to pick him up the air and when he let go of my head I just swung him forward into a Ron Simmons style spinebuster. Then I walked away as he was gasping for air. Only fight I've ever been in. Although some buddies and I did some submissions/moves shootstyle to see if in reality they would hurt. Most dissappointing in my young age? Atomic Drop does nothing. And I used to love that move. -

Why do I see the guys from Big Bang Theory having Agent 0 as a guest star and chanting "One of Us!" at him in my head now?

If they have him snap and just go apeshit on someone, and he can pull of a decent crazy eyes look then he can get past his debuting months.

Tell Teddy Hart to fuck Teddy Hart.

Didn't the E hire someone to keep track of continuity and then fire them soon after for finding too many? And Gabe's booking is too classical in the idea that wrestling or titles is the main reason for action, not a bad soap opera with matches that happen to be in the way of sketches.

Jeter rips into Matt Cappotelli and Dean Hill flips his lid over it Jeter is extremely comfortable playing the heel. That was super tasty. ASSSSSSSSS.... HOLE!

Gabe? (Before I get ripped, I'm asking a question, not stating a fact) He's too classical in his approach and would get hate like Heyman did. I don't think anyone who has done well with full control of their own show should agree to work for the E.
