Do you happen to know the buyrates for The TNA PPV's before the year before Russo came in? They must not have been all that great to begin with, otherwise why did Jarrett/Dixie Carter re-hire Russo? Some of you act like TNA before Russo came back was this unstopable, money garnering force, when if in fact it was, Russo wouldn't have even been needed, and those who were on the previous creative team,(whoever the hell that was), would still be employed. No, this is yet another attack to discredit Russo simply because some people don't care for his work.

Good point. Although did either one of you have cell phone? Maybe you could have phoned it in to the cops what that group was doing, as something tells me they didn't start and stop with just your car. Although it was Wilkinsburg, so that was probably the least of the cops worries.

You should've called the cops on those bastards. I'm pretty sure they would've been given more than a wristslap for what they did, especially considering you could've wrecked as a result of their hijinx.

Speaking of which, are Ric Flair and Big Show brand-floaters? Apparently Flair is allowed to go whatever show he pleases since this is his retirement tour.(I never heard that explanation given on WWE T.V. I think someone here thought that was the reason why. I just think it's simply lazy writing once again.) As for Big Show, that's a good question. To my knowledge, they haven't stated which show he's supposed to be on, like that matters anymore.

Nice to see them following Brand continuity once again with Santino and Maria appearing on the show.

I wish they would make every Impact for the next 6 months like The Global Impact Show, so then when buyrates/ratings don't go up or go lower than they already are, people will stop their bitching. It's already been proven that The Net makes up a very small percentage of the wrestling fan. So if TNA made every Impact like the TNA Global Special, wouldn't that in effect be booking towards "The Net?" On the flip side, look at last year's TNA XMas Show that got critically panned. Say what you will about that show, but didn't it end up drawing one of Impact's best ratings to date? Some smarks have to face facts; Just because you,(or I), want to see something done a certain way, doesn't mean everybody thinks it should be done that way as well.

Armaggedon, but certain people on this board think the title still has value. I guess the same applies to Jeff Hardy and his I.C. Title.

When was the last time M.V.P. defended his U.S. Title?

There was a short time during his tenure as Raw G.M. that Eric Bishoff was playing a tweener type of authority figure, and I thought it was working really well until they basically dropped it without explanation.

I never heard of The "Oops I crapped my pants" match. What supposedly happened?

Too bad they didn't have Paul Heyman around to announce to the crowd that if they kept their apathy up, then it would be a long time before they came back to Anaheim for another T.V. Taping, such as he did at Long Island, N.Y. during a Raw in 2001.

Where do you see Indiana's WR James Hardy going? I saw him play against Penn State last year, and he really impressed me with his speed, and especially his size.(6'6) I watched one of them Senior Bowl games on ESPN, and one of the announcer's had him as the 5th best WR in this year's draft. Have you heard anything more about him?

I wonder if The Palumbo/Noble/McCool stuff will have a payoff, unlike the angles they did recently with Balls/Kelly Kelly, and Trevor Murdoch/Mickie James(Which I think lasted all of about 2 weeks before they forgot about it.) I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, Raw was horrible again this week, imo. It's a shame, as this is the time of the year they should be putting forth their best creative efforts. If this IS the best that they can do, then it doesn't look good for W.M.

I thought Raw sucked this past week, IMO. This was the type of show you'd see in September or October, not after your second biggest ppv of the year. Oh, and I detest it when they have a hardcore/street fight/ no D.Q.-type of match with no finish. Why book a match like that in the first place if you plan on having a no contest? It makes no sense.

Remember when almost every after ppv Raw was awesome and news worthy?

People love nostaglia I guess. This was the last time pro wrestling as a whole was interesting, so it's no wonder that a lot of people have been responding to stuff that reminds them of an era they remember fondly. Or something.
