I don't think I made the playoffs last season either. Definately was surprised a couple of my gambles worked out, such as almost a full season out of Griffey and quality games from Burnett and Penny.

Damn that was a good matchup, came down to the last day. Never, ever thought this team would make it this far. Glad the majority of my team was healthy all season and the pitching was solid.

I would prefer having a 20th player, but if we choose to have a bye week then so be it.

I find nothing wrong with fantasy sports amongst friends. It's harmless and isn't taken too seriously. Plus there is meaningless bragging rights that only your group gives a shit about. It means nothing more, nothing less. Anyone that takes it beyond that is where Czech is right. You don't cheer for other players on other teams over your own team, and most don't. Well unless your team is terrible like the White Sox this season. I agree you do become more informed overall about the game from it too. For me it's baseball as I barely watched it for years and lost track of teams and players. But the last couple years getting into fantasy leagues brought me back to it. I still enjoy basketball leagues the most though.

Another thing is you need a healthy upgrade in hardware in order for Vista to run well. Putting it on a desktop thats even a year or two old with only 512 MB of RAM is not a good idea. Then you run into driver issues with that older hardware. So thats more money put into an upgrade that you don't exactly need.

I only miss how JBL always ripped on him no matter what he was doing. Thats about it for me, I'm glad I don't ever watch ECW.

They definately should make a run at Brevin Knight. As long as he is healthy he is a serviceable point guard who has a pass first mind set. They will be needing a guard like that with this team.
