No storyline to either, from what I remember. Shawn wanted (and got) a shot at the World belt without risking his IC title in 92, and that was about it. The Knights match was 93, and Shawn was just returning from storyline suspension and without a match, so they stuck him in there.

It's hardly punishment when you could've won JUST ONE more game out of 162 in the regular season. Plus, it would give one team two chances to win one game. That doesn't strike me as being fair.

To answer a question from a week or two ago, here's how the tiebreaker works in a three-team tie with two from the same division: I don't hate it, but it still bugs. This ends the well-established practice of one-game playoffs counting in the standings.

I liked it enough that I'll tape the midnight showing on NBC Seattle. It had some pretty funny moments.
