Never hurts to have another ball hawk in the secondary.
Two in three nights. I'm speechless. It was a weird game, too, with five of the 6 Jays RBI coming on putouts (four RBI groundouts and a sac fly). Only Lind, with the game-winner, had an RBI come on a hit.
Easily the scariest/creepiest movie I've ever seen:
The Shining (1980)
And, while this isn't exactly a cinematic masterpiece, it's my original favourite sports comedy:
Major League (1989)
There's a big drop-off at both these positions, so I'll grab these two...the greatest in Yankee history at catcher (well, top two, at least, although I think mine was the best) and second base:
Bill Dickey, C
Tony Lazzeri, 2B
I think there's only one other person here who would take this, since it only just started showing in the States, but I'm grabbing it anyway just because it's so funny:
Corner Gas
WKRP In Cincinnati
I was very surprised that this one hadn't been taken yet. Great comedy and great music. Could probably have run a lot longer if CBS didn't keep jerking it around.
Yeah, I guess I'm taking:
Babe Ruth
I really wanted the second or third pick, because Lou Gehrig is my all-time favourite player, but I just can't take him over the Babe.
