  1. That's OK, I can move Lake from safety to CB if the need should arise.
  2. Merton Hanks, CB, and his freakishly long neck INT 33 INT yards 410 Touchdowns 3 Pro Bowl (x4) (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997) All-Pro (x4) (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997) Super Bowl champion (XXIX) Not the fastest CB ever, but certainly one of the smartest.
  3. DDR was taken already by Jer in round 9. Although there are so many versions you could probably argue for it being a different game somehow, I'm sure. I'm going with: Elevator Action (Arcade) Incidentally, every game on my list without a platform listed is an arcade game.
  4. Oh, I just assumed it was a port of the same game. Otherwise I would have picked it ages ago. Carry on.
  5. I don't know...they may draw from the same general area, but I've always thought Nassau was the polar opposite of MSG in terms of overall gate and crowd heat.
  6. That's another strange deal. The Reds don't get anything more than organizational depth players, AND they have to eat Junior's option for next season.
  7. I never forget my parents' birthdays, but I always forget their anniversary. Every single year. Except their 25th, that was kind of a big deal.
  8. Taken in the third round by Separate Ways.
  9. Funny, I was thinking there's not a whole lot on there I'd watch. There are only two or three shows that I've seen that I actually like, Bullshit! being the best one. I'd probably like MST3K and Chapelle's Show if I'd seen them, though.
  10. Coliseum released a Best Of Saturday Night's Main Event tape in 1991 that was anything but. No tapes of the full shows were ever released.
  11. Pretty sure it's Kahran's pick at this point.
  12. I vote B. I'm strongly against moving to daily roster changes. I think it changes the entire complexion of the league, for the worse.
  13. I'm sorry, but SOMEONE has to take this: The Mary Tyler Moore Show And I'm done.
  14. I think he was. I was expecting to pass on him at #7, and see him go somewhere in the early teens.
  15. Yeah, Lefebvre had the baptism. I heard the Stevie Y showering story before, too. My favourite Cup story is either the time it was found at the bottom of Mario's swimming pool or the time a few of the Silver Seven had some adult beverages and tried to punt it across the Rideau Canal.
  16. Dammit, I'm not a machine. Updated standings - July 30, 2008 (changes in red) 405 - Marvinisalunatic 110 - Toshiaki Koala 85 - Beast, Darthtiki 65 - Vern Gagne 45 - Czech 40 - NYU 30 - v.2 20 - Cuban Linx, hardcoreicon, KOAB, treble, vivalaultra
  17. For the love of God, these stupid "nicknames" need to be stopped. I had to think for a couple of minutes as to who "D-Cab" even was.
  18. I thought it was Holmstrom. And I'm pretty sure that's not the first time I've heard of that happening. It is a nice story, though.
  19. Let's just get on with things, then.
  20. Round 19: The Job It is absolutely criminal how this show got jerked around. Dark and funny -- exactly what you expect out of Denis Leary.
  21. You're probably right, but Andersen seemed the least likely to drop to me of all the guys I was considering (at all positions).
  22. Tab Mix Plus - Lots of tabbed browsing features, including undoing closed tabs, opening links in new tabs, opening web pages in the background, locking tabs, and a session saver. (Does not work with 3.0.1 -- Firefox keeps telling me to upgrade, but warns me that I'll lose TMP, so I always refuse.)
  23. Damn, Bored's lineup is really good. I actually considered both Keeler and Chambliss for my reserve selections.
  24. Never hurts to have the greatest of all-time at any position, even if it is the kicker: Morten Andersen, K 7x Pro Bowl selection ('85, '86, '87, '88, '90, '92, '95) 5x All-Pro ('85, '86, '87, '92, '95) 1980s All-Decade Team 1990s All-Decade Team NFL all-time leading scorer New Orleans Saints all-time leading scorer Atlanta Falcons all-time leading scorer
