  1. Why am I supposed to care?
  2. As much as it pains me to say it, Michael Hart has a good chance to be the leading rusher, that dude is a badass. Rushing behind the traditionally strong UofM o-line doesn't hurt either.
  3. Who is the guy on the far right? He's built like a tank. A tank made of snow. That's been in the sun for a few hours.
  4. Who will be the trainers for this season? Still Liddell and Couture (I have a feeing I misspelleeled Couture)? Also, Meat Truck and Silverback are my two early favorites, based only on incredibly awesome nicknames.
  5. The Vikings will find out just how important a WR like Moss is to an offense this year. I have heard people say that they still have Burleson and Campbell and whomever else was there last year, but those guys benefitted big time from the attention that Moss received on the other side. If Culpepper throws anything above 25 TDs this year I would be fairly surprised. However if he does, he should be considered one of the best QBs in the game right now.
  6. By cheating of course!! The thing is, I seriously doubt that he (and others) is not smart enough, I bet that a lot of these guys simply feel that they shouldn't have to do the work and that's why they fail.
  7. Can I vote for them both to just go away? If so then yeah that.
  8. I LOLed at this. Can I put it in my sig? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please do, it's infinitely more interesting than the data entry that I actually do.
  9. I just don't get this, not Grady in particular, but college players in general. How the hell can these guys not pass classes???? They have more tutor opportunities then then next 100 non-athletes have put together. This summer Agim Shabaj was declared academically ineligible and ended up leaving school (and eventually not being picked in the NFL supplemental draft) because of it. How completely fucking stupid do you have to be?
  10. The last camp report from the Jets that I read said that he is participating in all of their practices and throwing at about 70% of his normal strength. Take it for what you will, to me percentages and practices mean nothing until the first game of the season. Then we can see how his shoulder is holding up.
  11. So wait, correct me if I'm wrong here, you are picking the Jets to beat Dallas in the Super Bowl?
  12. The original "Iceman" was George Gervin. Smooth muthafucka too.
  13. Illinois should change their nickname to "Highly Honorable Yet Slightly Aggressive Illini".
  14. 200-400? Okay.
  15. This here is why once TNA gets a TV deal (or when it starts if they already have one, can't remember for sure) I will be watching them instead. Bottom line is, I watch WWE for wrestling, not shitty written and poorly acted soap operas.
  16. If there is a privacy clause then I will take back my thoughts on the matter, I was unaware such a thing existed. I still think some positives on the matter would be a good thing, but obviously if said clause exists (not that I'm doubting you) then that stuff can't be released.
  17. My brother and I were born with our hearing impairments, the tinnitus came later. Calling yourself a "rare excetion" is a joke. Get over yourself and your heroic ability to speak.
  18. Except that there is currently TONS of news, and all of it bad. Putting any kind of positive spin on baseball in the context of the steroid issue would be good for them.
  19. Well SOMEBODY has to, no one else can understand yall. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have no problems with you personally, but I can speak very well, in fact to the point that my "handicap" is undetectable. So I can speak for myself. Personally I prefer the term, "Hard of hearing" than "hearing impaired" or "deaf". Though I have to be honest and say I'm a rare exception to the rule, and what you said about the majority of them is largely true... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rare exception my ass. My mother, younger brother, and myself all have a hearing disability. The bullshit about not being able to speak is just that. People who have a speech impediment usually do not have that because they can't hear. Whomever told you that is full of shit. For the record, what I have is called tinnitus. William fucking Shatner has it too. Actually forget that, he's a terrible example for speaking clearly. Here's a little sample of celebrities with tinnitus: Neil Young Barbra Streisand Pete Townshend John Entwhistle William Shatner Leonard Nimoy David Letterman Paul Schaffer Tony Randall Engelbert Humperdinck Rosalynn Carter Steve Martin Leslie Nielsen Mark O. Hatfield Ronald Reagan Jean-Jacques Rousseau Richard Thomas Dave Pirner Bob Mould Neve Campbell Jeff Beck Burt Reynolds Sting Liberty Divito Eric Clapton Eric Johnson James Hetfield Lars Ulrich Lemmy Kilminster Kevin Shields Blinda Butcher Thomas Edison Graham Cole Sylvester Stallone Ted Nugent Rick Emmett Bono The Edge Peter Jennings Jerry Stiller Lorence Henderson Jeff Beck Dwight D. Eisenhower Martin Luther Phil Collins Cher Blixa Bargeld Ozzy Osbourne Huey Lewis Tony Franklin Alan Shepard Ira Flatow Don Imus Vincent Van Gogh Ludwig Van Beethoven Robert Schumann Bedrich Smetana Charles Darwin Stewart Copeland Keanu Reeves Larry King Dave Swarbrick Charles Arthur Charlie Haden Kathy Peck Michael Tomlinson Al Di Meola John Densmore Jimmy Savile Francis Rossi Mick Ronson
  20. That's not really the point though. The point is that since so much negativity is being reported about the steroid issue that it would be nice to report that so and so good ballplayer is NOT cheating thank you very much. Especially so if it is one of the better known players, superstars if you will.
  21. Yeah, it's Round, and it also rocks, not the best though. Magic is the best. It's practically replaced his name. I bet there are people who think that is is real first name out there. Or at least if not that, people that don't know what his first name actually is...
  22. Not exactly, isn't testing random? If so then I agree with the OP, they should just do a little press release to ESPN.com or whatever stating that so-and-so passed their random drug test. Making sure that the word random appears at least once, if not more, just to point out that they were not singled out for a test, but that their name was drawn from a hat (or whatever other highly technological method they use). If it's not random then disregard.
  23. It would also be a disaster to his career if he had continued to not produce at the plate the way he was before he went on his recent tear.
  24. I'll second "He Hate Me" "Magic" Johnson "The Microwave" Vinnie Johnson
  25. I'd love to get in on this as Michigan State if at all possible?
