As for the games, I can play most days in the afternoon (Pacific time) and late nights. Sundays are almost always good. What's the time difference where you are, Chris? Apparently the NHL 2K9 demo is out now on Xbox Live Marketplace. I'm downloading it now. Also, after going back to NHL 08 to finish my last dozen season games and the playoffs before the new game releases, I decided to try the skill stick again. After 2 games of hating it, it clicked. I like it a lot now. I don't necessarily prefer it over classic, but ti's not bad and I can aim my shots where I want more efficiently.

I know that we rarely have separate threads for Xbox Live Arcade games, but I feel that this game deserves one. To be honest, the game wasn't even on my radar until a week ago, when many of my Live friends began getting really hyped up in anticipation of its release (which came around 3 A.M. Pacific time today). After playing the demo- I'll have points for the full game tomorrow- I can safely say the hype is justified. Are you a fan of 2D side scrolling beat-em-ups? A fan of rescuing princesses? A fan of gorgeous hand-drawn art? If you answered "yes" to any of the preceding questions, Castle Crashers is probably for you. If you're unsure, like I was, give the demo a try. Whoa to HarleyQuinn and Kahran Rasmus. The Patriots, like 'em or not (and I don't) are the best team in football and it would take a catastrophe for them to finish with less than 12 wins. The Packers at 8-8? Are you kidding me? They were 13-3 last year and remain mostly unchanged, aside from the Favre debacle. Unless Aaron Rodgers has a Ryan Leaf-like year, they're good for a 10-6 record which will likely win them the division or if the Vikings exceed expectations, the wild card. Bunch of pessimists around here. I'm not willing to gamble on my Packers since Aaron Rodgers is an unproven commodity over a full season, but quote me on this: If the Patriots win fewer than 10 games without Tom Brady being injured, I'll quit the board forever.
