Tomorrow? After the report the Packers are now going to let Farve compete for the starting job, Rodgers should make the demand around right now. The "future" quarterback of the Packers is going to retire for good before Brett does. Only way Aaron Rodgers is starting for the Green Bay Packers is if he makes himself the starter in Madden 09. Otherwise, he's screwed. Speaking of Madden, I guess the guy on the cover isn't going to be in the game this year. I wonder if that affects the curse in any way. What? He was already going to be in the game as a 99 overall free agent. He's playable. EA did say they'd likely lower his ranking to 95 via roster update if he became active, though.

Fuck, I don't know what to think anymore. I've gone from hoping Favre would come back, to hoping he'd accept the marketing deal and stay retired, and now I'm not sure. If he starts for the Packers, great. Anything else would taint his legacy. And if there's a QB competition, Favre wins easily. This preseason action has been decent so far. The AFL just played their championship game last week, so it's nice to have soem football after a week of none. Sucks that the Packers game is on during Raw, though. I'll likely miss a good chunk of it.

So is it the same stuff, pre-taped, or are they going to attempt a live version?

Broward has a Gamerscore of 11,111. Anyway, I downloaded the Too Human demo when it came out and just now tried it. I really didn't expect to enjoy the game much, but I liked it a lot. The only major flaw was the camera. I'll probably pick it up along with the bulk of the August/September/October releases I want at the October Toys R Us buy 2 get 1 free sale.

Right now they just went to break during Edge/Hardy. This match has been good so far, as was the 8 man. Khali vs. Yang was what I expected. But the highlight of the night so far has to be the "Mickie James Roast Beef" sign. Love it.

WWE.com = Joey Styles. So yeah. And Edge has been the best in WWE for years now. No question.

I don't think Griffey will play a whole lot at center. He'll probably one one of 4 rotating outfielders and play some DH.

Finally, the Sox do something good at the trade deadline! Griffey's nowhere near what he used to be, but he's still solid and the Sox barely gave up anything (Nick Masset and Danny Richar) for him!

I really like the demo. It sucks that you can only play one drive, but the game feels and looks great. It retains the classic Madden gameplay, but with several little touches that make things that much more enjoyable. The presentation has been redone, and the stadiums look and feel alive, like you're really at the event. This already looks leagues better (pun intended) than the already pretty good NCAA 09.

I didn't realize until VX messaged me on Live that I was the only one who hadn't played his game in the NCAA dynasty. I haven't been sleeping much and I've been busy making preparations for my birthday (which is today). Last night I saw that Broward hadn't played his game yet so I said, "Fuck it" and went to bed. But I just played and won 42-10.

She's got THREE video games, and more upcoming. At Wal-Mart, her face is everywhere. There are Hannah Montana school supplies, every form of clothing imaginable, shoes, sunglasses, prescription glasses, pillow diaries... It never ends. I haven't been in the toy section. I can only imagine.

A popular theory is that, after smoking weed for some time, people want to move on to something stronger, claiming weed is too mild. My theory is that those people need to smoke better quality weed. I've done shrooms twice, years ago. Other than that, I've had no desire to try any hard drugs. Would I try acid if it were available? Yes. But I had that desire before ever smoking weed. People who are stupid enough to try crack, coke, meth, etc. are going to do that whether they smoke weed or not. It's just that knowing people who smoke weed makes it more likely that they will come into contact with people who use other stuff. Don't blame the drug. Blame the individual. Weed itself doesn't make people use hard drugs. It's a great thing that has many benefits. You wanna attack a substance? Attack alcohol. For all its good qualities, that's the thing that has caused me and countless others a lot of problems, and it's both readily available and praised, as well as abused by a much greater percentage of the people who use it.
