It's getting mostly good reviews at horror sites but mixed reviews elsewhere. With Vinnie Jones as the villain and a title of Midnight Meat Train it seems like it'll at least be entertaining in a sort of cheesy way. Fuckin' Vinnie Jones? I'm sold. Hell, it's only $2 before 6, $3 after.

I never understood how people could forget their parents' birthdays, or even how old they are. I think atleast half of my friends don't know one or both of those facts about their parents. Then again, I'm on the other extreme. I remember people's birthdays, dates things happened, and phone numbers from as far back as 16 years ago.

God dammit. DiBiase and Rhodes got the Cade and Murdoch treatment- New tag team, just debuting (well, DiBiase is new; Rhodes has been there a year) and they drop the titles after having them for barely a month. I enjoyed the show as a whole, but the ending left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Hadn't heard of any of those except the Paris Hilton movie. I first heard of Midnight Meat Train yesterday. It's playing at the local $2/Spanish subtitles theater.

Rest in peace, Skip. Aside from Sox/Cubs/Cardinals games we got in central Illinois, I'd watch more Braves games than anything in my formative baseball years due to TBS (and indirectly, WCW/Tony Schiavone promoting them) and Skip was always quality. On top of that, growing up in Illinois in a family of Cubs fans, I have a soft spot for Harry Caray despite being a Sox fan. All that being said, he shall be missed.

Oh yeah. That's definitely the case. My first couple years of regular heavy drinking were during the time I was depressed from a bad breakup. I rarely ate and I drank constantly, while occasionally consuming Vicodin and/or weed, for 6 months. It continued afetr that to a lesser degree. I lost 60 pounds and a lot more during that time. If it happened now, I'd brush that shit off no problem. But I guess that's the point... I grew from the experience and it gave me the ability to do that.

Can, yes. If it always did, many people- myself included- wouldn't drink. But so many factors contribute to whether or not one's drinking experience is a positive one that anyone can go from one extreme to the other, like you described and I have done myself.

Just for the record, alcohol being a depressant doesn't mean it makes you depressed. It is labeled as such because it depresses the central nervous system.
