As far as I can tell, ABC's only ordered episodes for this season, but since it's such a success, there's no reason why it wouldn't keep going. It wasn't created as a mini-series or anything.

During the Cactus vs. HHH street fight at RR2000, after Hunter chop blocks Mick's leg while he's standing in between the ropes, you can pretty clearly hear him say "Barb wire on the bottom of my leg". Sure enough...

I know this is a minor complaint, but one thing that bugged about Angel's 5th season when I first saw it was some of the dialogue for Spike. I'm noticing it again now. I just finished Just Rewards, for example, where he says "bloody" 15 times, including 8 during the first act. During his limited time in Unleashed, he says it another 5.

It's weird watching Villains on tape, with its Sheeva-worthy skin-ripping fun, while a bunch of cute, funky, bright-coloured cartoon things from YTV bounce around during the commercials. For Canadian folk, Space has Angel's 5th season starting up this coming Wednesday (early Thursday) at 1AM, after season 4 finishes up on Monday and Tuesday with Peace Out and Home. It'll be good to get S5 on tape, so I can free up 8+ gigs on my sister's laptop.

I'd like to see the match, but I doubt it'll happen soon, with my empty pockets, and DVDs from the ROH site being pretty expensive for Canadians. I've never kept current with ROH very well (the most recent match I've seen is Punk & Colt vs. Briscoes from DBD2Pt1, most recent show: DBD1), but I'm really impressed at how effectively they're booking the title. The respected 2-year champ and popular #1 contender have two spectacular 60-minute time limit draws behind them. So what do they book? A rubber match with no time limit. It's so effective, it almost boggles the mind that it's so simple. (Not to say getting Punk & Joe to where they are was simple, of course.)

I just spent about 5 hours obtaining the Hunter by getting gold on all the flying school missions, then doing 70 levels of Brown Thunder, racking up about 700 kills and $5.6 million. One thing that bugged me was that I only ever had 3 wanted stars, and the single police chopper chasing me at any time was a puss. I probably took down 30 of them. I kind of wanted the fighter jets to come after me, like they did when I took off in a private jet from LS airport with 5 stars. On the subject of the fighter jet, does anyone know how to fly it during the Military Service checkpoint race, which you get to at LV airport?

Apparently there's a screening for 2 episodes each of Buffy and Angel this afternoon at the central library here in town. Nikki Stafford, who used to live here, is going to be there. I won't be going, since I've been up all night, and I'm not really into "gatherings" of "people". And if they were to play, say, Becoming or The Wish, I wouldn't be especially proud of openly weeping in public.

I thought she came off well enough. She didn't say that line about getting dates in a brazen way. Just that she hoped she wouldn't have to use a phone service to meet people. And while she wasn't necessarily right about what's happened in the show, she wasn't ridiculously false either. When she said no one had died, they were kind of talking about the core cast.

If that's the one with the cop car and spike strip, it seems to be partly based on luck. Sometimes your car will spin out after blowing the tires, and sometimes it won't. If it does, you're out of luck unless you're really good at controlling the car. If it doesn't spin, and you keep going straight, keep your thumb on the gas, and gently make your way around the cones (you might not have to turn at all), into the end of the run. If you stop straight, and close enough to the end cones, you should get 100%.
