  1. Here's a fun match between Brock Lesnar and a pre-Legend Killer Randy Orton. Parts 1 and 2 of an incredible promo exchange between Eddie Guerrero and Brock Lesnar. I forgot how great they built this feud up. WWE's Hulk Hogan tribute video from 2002
  2. I purchased this gem (a 6 DVD-disc set) from Wal-Mart for $37 dollars. Not a bad deal!
  3. Edit: Shit, lol.
  4. The elbowdrop off the ladder was pretty awesome though.
  5. The Dark Knight will the highest grossing Batman film ever, Hell probably the best grossing movie DC has ever produced. I don't think it will beat Spider-Man's 151 mil record, but it will definitely break Iron Man's 100 mil record. My guess for the Dark Knight is $144 mil.
  6. No, it isn't. Making two part of one movies is freaking LAME! That's like Kill Bill all over again!
  7. Is it true David Hyde Pierce doesn't voice Abe this time around?!!
  8. Anybody know what was supposed to happen with that if Regal didn't fuck up?
  9. True, but the affair rumor makes the most sense compared to the he was crazy / drugged / brain damaged reasons. Benoit KNEW what he was doing.
  10. Since there's a lot of crap in Harry Potter, why don't they just bust a LOTR and shoot a lot of scenes that were book-related, cut them out for the theatrical release so people wouldn't get bored, and then reinsert for the Extended version DVD release?!! If the rumor about The Deathly Harrows being split into two movies is true, that's complete bullshit for them to do!
  11. Well, its better than Nolan using The Red Hood. I'm just picky about directors / writers changing origins unless its sensical / easier to believe or its from the Ultimate universe. And I don't mind realism, but if Nolan is strict about it, then it takes some of the fun out of the source material. Because of his beliefs, we won't be getting the Penguin and we probably won't be getting Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Croc (thank God for Gotham Knight on that one), or Clayface in the future sequels as long as he is involved. I mean those are some of Batman's best villains! Nah, Nolan is going with the Joker's debut in the comics where he showed up as is without an explaination so there's no vat fall although with Ledger's face all fucked up, the accident COULD have happened and its smart for Nolan to have done that so he wouldn't have to reshoot the scene from back then. I always enjoyed the Batman ending. Him standing on the rooftop looking at the Bat signal with Elfman's epic song playing IMO is just as iconic as Christopher Reeve flying in space smiling at the camera. You're telling me the Joker was just going to spend all that time going up the stairs only to push to Vicki off the roof? I don't see how Batman was going to end had Vale been killed. I see where you're coming from, but the depressing ending would've worked better for a female character made up just for the movie since it wouldn't piss off fans as much. Had they done that to Nicole Kidman in Batman Forever, that would've been cool!
  12. When and why did CM Punk change his finisher from the Anaconda Vice to The GTS?
  13. Batman 1989 is still a great film overall. My only beefs with the film: - The Joker being the killer of Batman's parents (WTF? WHY?!!) - Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent - Alexander Knox It's a comic book movie. What do you expect? Besides, I always did enjoy that telling of that origin because it happened to him against his will (in some versions), thus creating or more likely bringing out his insanity plus it would've worked perfectly for Heath Ledger's Joker because realistically the chemical burns would've scarred his face. No thanks. I prefer campy Joker since that's the version I grew up with besides people would've given Nicholson flack for being like his previous film characters (ex. The Shining) had he been a more serious Joker. No, that would've been awful. I'm glad they changed it.
  14. Meh. I'd rather see Undertaker Vs. Michaels.
  15. Indeed. He should've kept his hair shoulder length. That whole match was just sad to watch.
  16. Disco Inferno making fun of Konnan's music video!
  17. Based on the fact I never thought Rampage was that impressive of a fighter to begin with. He's even admitted before that he hates to train. Many of you are just being a bunch of whiny bitches, even though Quinton lost the fight fair and square. I hate it when fanboys make fucking excuses for their favorite fighter's losses. "Whaaaaaaaaa! The fight was rigged!" Face it, Quinton came out looking like complete shit in that fight as he was backing away for most of it. And whoever says Forrest got lucky is an idiot. He did significant leg damage, outgrappled QJ, had almost complete ring control aside from the 4th round, and proved he didn't have a glass jaw. Griffin EARNED the title.
  18. Will Smith made an entertaining superhero. I didn't bother listening to the critics this time, I thought it was a good film overall.
  19. If anything, I think its an improvement.
  20. Ricardo Almeida vs. Patrick Cote - This fight was very boring after the first round, but I blame that Almeida for that on his keep away tactics. Nice to see Cote pull off with the win. Joe Stevenson vs. Gleison Tibau - The typical Steveson fight: come out swinging fast and furious, take the hits, and go for the choke for the win. Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Lytle - I figured Koscheck was going to win, but I have to give HUGE credit to Chris Lyte for continuing after being injured badly above his eye. It was hard to watch him keep going when he was bleeding like a stuck pig, but I'm thankful the ref decided not to stop the fight. Marcus Aurelio vs. Tyson Griffin - This was a great opener. It was very exiciting and fast paced and Tyson pulled off the win. Quinton Jackson vs. Forrest Griffin - This was a great main event. It was hot all 5 rounds with a great crowd enjoying every second of the fight that could've gone either way, but like in storybook ending fashion, hometown hero Forrest Griffin achieves the dream by winning the title. I'm so glad Rampage lost. Last night's fight reminded me why Quinton Jackson is one of the most overrated and boring UFC fighters to ever step into the Octagon. He's all power, just punches and some slams here and there. No finesse or real style whatsoever. Quinton Jackson SUCKS and that's why he lost a REAL MMA fighter! FUCK RAMPAGE!
  21. That sucks to hear. I never understood why WWE broke up Cade / Murdoch to begin with. They were one of the best (and very few) tag teams they actually had. And the kayfabe reason was even worse! Lance broke up with Trevor because Trevor liked to sing?!! And they were still winning matches at the time of their break-up, WTF?
  22. Booker T won the World Title at the show, no need for complaining Noble/Kash vs London/Kendrick was a really solid opener too. If anything, the card changes actually improved the show, I would even go as far as saying its the best GAB PPV the WWE ever produced. The Big Show was a step up from Khali, Helms / Hardy had a fantastic impromptu match, and Kennedy got the shit kicked out of him in great fashion. Now if I wonder if that's what they had planned for the main event before Jeff was traded.
  23. I totally forgot Yoda and Vader never fought each other in any of the Star Wars movies... Here you go
  24. Hulk Hogan cheats on Linda with Brooke's friend and then Linda cheats on him back with Brooke's former classmate. According to People Magazine, Brooke's not even talking to her mother because of it. I feel bad for Brooke, she's the only one who deserves pity. Holy shit! I can't believe John is still alive.
