Matt Hardy Vs. MVP was one of the worst booked feuds ever. They got left off Wrestlemania for time constraints bullshit, then there was no build-up video used that I know, and they were the first match on the Backlash PPV with Matt Hardy just winning the title right away. I was expecting MVP to get a DQ win with Matt Hardy finally winning the title the following month at Judgment Day in a Ladder match or something. Sigh.
Last Action Hero and Get Carter (both versions) are GOOD.
According to MSN, Punch-Drunk Love is Adam Sandler's best movie while Big Daddy is his worst.
Whether you love him or hate him, I thought it was simply wonderful in the 232 years that the United States of America has been around that an African-American was chosen to run for the White House. It doesn't matter if he becomes President or not, we've come a long way with this milestone that took place last night and I'm glad I was around to see it happen.
Nancy Grace is having a field day with this. You know I could understand where the Hogans were coming from if this was just some guy Nick ran into, but hearing them basically talk shit about their injured so called "friend" just shows how heartless they are. Although I will applaud Linda because she wants Nick's ass to stay in jail. Brooke seems like the only good one out of the bunch.
Just saw it earlier tonight. I think I liked 70 - 80 % of it. Not as good as I hoped it would be, but still an enjoyable popcorn flick despite being the definitive worst Indiana Jones film.
I guess it's easier to make a 'What I didn't like' list:
The rest of the movie I found awesome though. The soundtrack was okay, and I liked hearing some music from both Raiders and Crusade again. Yet not much rememberable tunes otherwise.
The action scenes and the scenery/surroundings were great and most of the cast did a good job. Props for Ford that he can still play a convincing Indy character even though he's in his sixties. I was expecting a temple of Doom moment when Indy said 'don't touch anything' when he and Mutt where just about to find what they were looking for. Too bad lol.
This was a great show. I'm so glad I got a couple of it on tape still. The crowd wents nuts for the Ultimate Warrior and Shawn Michaels winning the IC title was a shock back then.
My plans for the summer this year:
- working my BUTT off at my job to get money to fix up the car (a new sound system at least)
- hoping to make a trip to Texas by the end of summer to visit a friend of mine
- going to see The Incredible Hulk and The Dark Knight when they come out
- I need to do some serious reading this summer. I have a list of books I want to read before college starts in the fall.
Well, supposedly they got Michelle Rodriguez and the other chick from the first film to come back also. Apparantly, FF4 is a sequel to FF2, but a prequel to FF3, which is good because it would explain how Dominic got from Mexico to Japan.
