I'd love to see them hold a world title tournament like they did at SSeries 98. Like Kotz, I'm a huge tournament mark. Knowing WWE, they'll probably bust out with the Elimination Chamber consisting of Benoit, Edge, Orton, HHH, Batista, and probably Jericho.

But it was around that time when the Cena love started developing and the fact he was in a well built match against an established superstar. And he came THIS close to getting a believable win over the Undertaker. I don't count Backlash because no one really cared about that match except for the arena crowd since it was in Cena's home state.

If Taker doesn't win the WWE Championship at WM XXI against Kurt Angle according to that early rumor, what was the point of bringing him back as the Phenom?

The last time I saw Funaki in the ring even close to a PPV< he jobbed to Jindrak at Judgment Day. I was so happy he won the number one contender's spot as I think it was one of those things that wouldn't happen so I figured he would be like Nunzio as just be Flavor of the month for Spike, but low and behold Funaki did it and he won the gold. (Has Funaki even won gold at all in his WWE career up until now?) Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy whose been with the company for what 6 years now? I for one am proud for Sho Funaki! SD's numba one CW champion!

I couldn't agree with you any further. I was on the edge of my seat and I was furious when Angle kicked out of the Frog Splash after Eddie had already attempting to do the move like 2 to 3 times beforehand. It was hard for me to take Angle as a heel again since I was used to him being a babyface, but I'm glad Eddie retained.

Cena's match against The Undertaker at Vengeance last year is what put him on the map to super stardom IMO.
