  1. No, I'm not. Murder is still murder and his soul is burning in Hell right now for all eternity for what he did.
  2. I'm not condoning what Benoit did, but if he was under the influence of drugs and / or alcohol than its easier to understand what happened happened (madness) rather than if he did it with a rationale mind (detestable), which would just make it worse. People tend to forget that when you're under the influence of something, you become a different person. You're not thinking right, you're not aware of what you're doing. Hell, you might not even remember doing it at all. All this because of the chemical imbalance in your brain. It's so important for the toxicology reports to come out, that way we might get an answer and some people can rest easy knowing why.
  3. Because Ultimate is basically a remix of the origins of superheroes and villains and it takes place in modern times making the stories down-to-Earth / more "realistic or believable". It works better in the movies because it gets to the point rather than the long, drawn-out version of the classics since most of them are just really silly or hokey.
  4. Why didn't Austin just go over HHH at Survivor Series 2000? That was absolutely one of the worst PPV finishes ever.
  5. I'm not surpised about John Cena. Vince loves the guy so he's going to give Cena the best treatment possible. Word Life left off at Christmas in Iraq against The Big Show in 2003 so I can see 5 discs easily fitting 4 years worth of work. That if WWE doesn't recycle stuff from the Word Life DVD. I'll agree that its bullshit either way since Taker has been in way longer and he only got three fucking discs!
  6. All we can do is speculate because we'll never know why, until there is a break in the case on a motive. 1.) Did he kill his family in a drunken rage? 2.) Was he on drugs? Coked out of his mind perhaps? 3.) Was she cheating on him and he found out? 4.) Was she threatening divorce again as well as sole custody of their child? 5.) Was he suffering from mental illness? 6.) Were they having trouble with their finances? 7.) Did him being held down in Smackdown / being sent to ECW play a factor? The guy worked so hard over his lifetime to get everything he wanted: a beautiful wife, a son, lots of money, a mansion, being world champion, and a respected career (up until now). He was still in reasonable good physical health, still had a job making good income, and was going to be world champion again on the day (or the day before) he died. I just can't fathom how one of the best guys in the business could go out like this in the worst way possible. He's ruined his legacy for an unknown reason and Vince McMahon won't rest until he has completely ripped out Chris Benoit from the pages of wrestling history. Its just terrible how all of this has played out. I'll just post Jamie Penick's column from the Torch because its been summed up perfectly:
  7. I found out on Monday afternoon during work from a friend of mine that one of my favorite professional wrestlers, Chris Benoit, lost his life along with his wife and kid over a meaningless act of violence. I really looked up to the guy over the years and became a huge fan of his so it pains me that he, OF ALL PEOPLE, could commit such an unspeakable act of evil, but I would rather remember him for how he lived and what he did for the sport than how he died. I know people are going to be sad and angry, but I hope that fans and people, in time, can find it within themselves, within their hearts...to forgive him. I'll have more later because I don't know what to think right now. I'm seriously traumatized by this shit. But meeting him in person and seeing him win the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania XX were two of my greatest experiences ever as a wrestling fan, I'm a mess and so depressed over this senseless tragedy of how a beloved hero could meet such a violent end.
  8. Well, considering this is a Die Hard movie we're talking about, yes!
  9. It was a way to get Jericho a big rub from Shamrock on his way out. Chris Jericho injured and put the most dangerous man out of the sport. I still remenber when Jericho came out in his hockey gear for their First Blood match on Smackdown. Classic.
  10. Word, although I will admit the latest trailer actually looked pretty good. Seriously, I wish this movie was rated R, but it gets PG-13 instead because the studio is greedy. Just have McClane go on a "Fuck" tirade. That's why I loved Die Hard With A Vengeance so much!
  11. I forgot to mention that on the Extended Cut of Fantastic Four, there's a cool animated opening (with credits) for the movie rather than the lame opening with the big F4 logo just being shown in the theatrical version.
  12. Well, I just got back from watching this and WOW what a GREAT movie! Call me crazy, but I actually enjoyed this more than Spider-Man 3. I guess you could it say it was one of those movies that got you all hyped up and actually delivered. It had everything I could ask for in a comic book movie: faithfulness to the source, lots of action, and funny moments. The visual effects were just astounding. This was better than the first film on so many levels. My only complaint was that But I'll let that slide because I was so happy to see Julian McMahon reprise his role as Dr. Doom, I didn't think he was coming back. To be honest, I didn't think the movie was going to be good at all because people like to pick on F4 since being family friendly is a bad thing, but boy was I wrong, lol. Anyway, if you're looking for a good movie to watch this month, go see this film NOW! Only because Johnny Storm made fun of Mr. Fantastic's penis.
  13. If Scott can't work the match, they should hold it off until Victory Road. I don't want to see Team 3D Vs. Rick Steiner and random partner
  14. They had to kill off Paul Bearer because he was having health problems.
  15. In 2005. I'm sure it had something to do with the box office failure of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen since that was his last film. He's probably still kicking himself for turning down the roles of Gandalf and Morpheous.
  16. Terrible news! John Rhys-Davies has confirmed at recent convention that he will not be returning as Sallah because his character wasn't written into the script. Sean Connery made an official statement that he won't be involved in the 4th installment of the Indian Jones series. He stated the following:
  17. Yeah, the movie was so awful, it was never released to the public although if you're Hell bent on seeing pure crap, I'm sure you find a copy of it on E-Bay. The film was THAT bad and here's the proof
  18. I'd like to see a Cena / Foley fued. That would be fresh and fun I think. Was Bam Bam Bigelow's death a suicide or accidental overdose?
  19. God damn it! The good die young and its a damn shame. RIP Sherri, we'll always have fond memories of you.
  20. Yeah, too bad they got somebody else to voice Ironhide because I wanted to see Peter Cullen talking to himself. I think out of the whole bunch, Optimus Prime and Jazz are the most faithful. although I do like the new Ironhide because I thought his original design was a piece of shit.
  21. I'll probably watch F4 II tonight, but I did take this picture at my local theatre last week when I went to go see Pirates 3.
  22. ^ The Extended Edition is just all the deleted scenes reincorporated back into the movie so the film is about 20 minutes longer and its a big improvement on the original cut. A few gaps are filled in like what causes Johnny Storm to stop being a complete jackass as well as Mr. Fantastic rekindling his flame to Invisable Woman. Julian McMahon gets more screen time which works wonders in his favor. It also shows development of the FF team more. The first disc has both the theatrical as well as the extended version of the movie. There's also a second disc that has a couple of really nice features. The first one was close to an hour about the making of the movie, and the particular characters. The other feature was all about the life of Jack Kirby. There were some others but those were the two main ones, and its worth getting for just them if you're an extras fan.
