  1. From SRK Top 10 things Randy Orton might have done to get suspended 10. Learned another resthold besides the chinlock 9. Broke the dress code…by wearing TNA's new Samoa Joe t-shirt 8. Shit in Kurt Angle's gym bag 7. Told Dave Meltzer that he was getting suspended 6. Banged all the Divas, giving CM Punk nothing to stand out for other than being the most overrated wrestler in the history of the Internet 5. Shit in Rey Mysterio's gym bag 4. Refused to put over Triple H & Steph's unborn child 3. Shit in Eddie Guerrero's old gym bag 2. Told Shane McMahon "My dad can beat up your dad!" 1. Nothing…Orton's suspension is just part of God's agreement to work Backlash
  2. What was the theme song to No Way Out this year?
  3. And of course, they give away the first Angle / Orton singles match on free TV in the first round I might add than saving it for a PPV main event.
  4. LOL, so Orton actually cost himself his own Wrestlemania title win? Funny how things work out.
  5. Dusty Rhodes and Arn Anderson would be great choices for next year. For the Wrestlemania III feel, they SHOULD induct: Randy Savage Ricky Steamboat Jake Roberts The Honky Man The Killer Bees and for the celebrity wing, they can put in Alice Cooper.
  6. Well, hopefully this means Angle / Mysterio at Judgment Day.
  7. One more question, I'm assuming WM 1 - 14 are extraless, but are the extras kept intact for WM 15 - 21?
  8. Thank you! That's exactly what I've been trying to tell people leading into Mania! And of course a guy his size who has done jackshit in the mid-card division (no IC / US title wins) gets hotshotted to the world title as part of a pity push doesn't help things either.
  9. Well, its better than Cena / HHH II and we finally get what some people wanted to see for the WM 22 main event so I'm all for it. Either way, Edge will be the fall guy in the match and I see HHH going over for title win number 11 more so than Cena retaining.
  10. Good: KOTR is coming back! Bad: KOTR looks to be SD-exclusive though instead of joint-brand and probably be used just for TV instead of a PPV, I don't like it. I'm guessing the winner gets the title shot at Judgment Day. Its bad enough they recycled Bundy / Taker with Henry and now we get to see Gonzales / Taker recycled too.
  11. Eddie Guerrero - US and Tag w/ Chavo Kane - IC and Tag w/ Hurricane Kanyon - US Champion and Tag w/ Page Chris Jericho - World and Tag w/ The Rock Technically, if you want to count the Undisputed Championship too since it was 2 separate titles, the WWE Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Title (before they combined them into the current WWE title): Chris Jericho and HHH
  12. PPV? What's the point of doing that match at an ECW nostalgia PPV. RVD finally gets a world title win in front of his true fans without HHH having to do the JOB should Cena retain until then.
  13. After seeing WM 22 with Cena / HHH, the crowd was into the whole match from start to finish, what other matches in wrestling history had fans eating the palm out of its hand for all if not most of the match? Remember, the crowd reaction doesn't have to be a good one either.
  14. Most likely, he went to Vince and management and threw a fit over not winning the title at Wrestlemania.
  15. Undertaker at Vengeance 2003 also. More tidbits: John Cena now joins the ranks of Hulk Hogan, Yokozuna, and HHH as being the only Superstars to win the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania as well as to successfully defend it at a WM. First time in Wrestlemania history that a world title was retained via submission.
  16. Yeah, I did this a few years ago with a buddy of mine at Chilis, it was his last day out of the Air Force. The food sucked so I don't regret it.
  17. Good luck!
  18. Well, they booed Rock because he was stale and just about everybody knew he was leaving to make movies and they booed HBK because they were sick to death of him.
  19. Through WM 10 - 13, do they use the classic WWF logo in the corner or are all the WMs in the DVD set using the WWE logo?
  20. World Tag Titles Well, I was actually going for the rookies to win, but at least Big Show finally gets a win at Wrestlemania. Money in the Bank Match II Unfortunately, I missed out on this match because we lost our fucking signal at the sportsbar tonight thanks to shitty DirectTV service (Cable is better, guys!), but I'm glad to know the right guy went over. United States Championship The elevating ramp was fucking sweet. This match had so much to offer, but suffered due to time constraints. The finish was nice though. Hardcore Match IMO the match of the night. Mick and Edge went balls out. Bringing Joey Styles out to call the match was icing on the cake! The Freaks segment fucking owned by the way!!! It was nice to see Booker T interact with Goldust again. Handicapped Match Thankfully, they kept it as a squash. Womens Championship Truly one of the best womens matches EVER. The crowd shitting on Trish was fucking awesome too. Casket Match I was surprised by how this one turned out. I marked out for Undertaker bringing back the plancha. And of course, a Holy shit! remark to him being able to pick up Henry's fat ass and Tombstoning him for the win. No Holds Barred It was entertaining, I won't lie. Marked out for the DX chops. World Heavyweight Title Good match, but I didn't like "Montezuma" Mysterio getting hotshotted to winning the title out of a sympathy push especially when he has no experience in the mid-card division rather than working up through the ranks, oh well. The double german suplex spot was cool. Chicago was dying for Angle to retain, I wish he would have, had I known Mysterio was winning and not Orton. Pillow Fight Only thing goods were Torrie's nip slip and Candice getting a Stink Face from Chloe. WWE Championship And finally after 34 months, the WWE Championship goes on AFTER the World Heavyweight Title on joint-brand PPVs. I felt like I was watching a movie with the elaborate intros. Some people didn't like them, but I did. The boxing style introduction was a nice touch to add to the match. The most incredible crowd ever with the "Lets Go Cena! / Fuck You Cena! (mostly "Fuck You Cena!") dueling chants going. With the way the crowd was shitting on Cena and going for HHH, this was truly Cena being the underdog even though he was the champ. Its almost as if I were watching Rocky I (funny for HHH to mention that movie prior to the match as that is what it felt like and yes I know Rocky didn't win the title until the end of part II so don't bother pointing that out). Another thing I loved is that while the crowd was giving nuclear-level heat, Cena had this look on his face like "Man, fuck you guys. I don't give a shit anymore." I was hoping too that they would have done a double turn with Cena snapping and beating the ever loving shit out of HHH with a chair or something. I will admit it, I'm shocked, I'm still shocked by HHH jobbing clean AGAIN when he didn't have to. I'm slowly losing my HHHate, he put over Benoit, Batista, and now Cena. Wow. HHH, I hate to break it to you, but you are no longer the top heel in the WWE.
  21. My thoughts: WWE Championship HHH vs. John Cena Its a lose lose situation here. Cena has never lost at Wrestlemania and needs this win more than HHH does since you know he's mainevented 5 Wrestlemanias already (16, 18, 19, 20, 21) and went over in three of them and Cena was made to be a strong champion over the past year by beating JBL, Christian, Hassan, Jericho, Michaels, Angle, and Edge so for him to come up short against Hunter will have made that work be done for nothing. The trouble is everybody hates Cena and even if they booked this build-up the absolute best way, Cena would get shitted on regardless because we all know how unforgiving the Chicago crowd is. And HHH is the challenger heading in and I don't see him losing 3 Wrestlemanias in a row. Its kind of sad when the match I'm looking forward to the most is the one everybody is going to hate. Thriple Threat Match For The World Heavyweight Title Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio Sadly, the best thing to happen and I think everybody can agree with me here is Angle retaining. And unfortunately, its not happening. Not in my eyes. Mysterio winning is great and all, but just for the ending so they can add it to Wrestlemania Rollback collection of feel good memories. Lets be realistic here, I don't see him having a long / decent run with the title simply because its Mysterio and a token run doesn't do anybody a favor. After 17 months since being fucked over, I hope Orton wins because IMO he deserves to be the World Heavyweight Title more than Rey does. Interpromotional Money in the Bank Match RVD Vs. Shelton Benjamin Vs. Ric Flair Vs. Matt Hardy Vs. Lashley Vs. Finlay By all rights, RVD should win, but of course I think they're going to have Flair go over. No Holds Barred Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon I guess we should have seen this match coming since it was first teased at Wrestlemania 15, but Michaels can bleed like a stuck pig and flop around the ring like a dying fish all he wants and the match is not even going to come close to the classic match that was Hogan Vs. McMahon a few years ago. Why? Because that match had TWENTY years of build-up to it and it blew everybody's expectations away. I just find it funny the whole reason for this match happening is over Bret. Michaels wins after overcoming the odds once more! Hardcore Match Edge vs. Mick Foley Ah, it feels like only yesterday when the good old days of seeing E & C bicker with Foley in the Commissioner office. Should be a good match. Casket Match The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry Piss break for me. United States Championship Chris Benoit vs. John Bradshaw Layfield Hard to call this one, I don't see Benoit losing the title a month after getting it right back, but JBL is one of the most protected men on SD (if you forget the terrible Boogeyman fiasco. of course). I'd like to see Benoit retain though since he's never beaten JBL yet as far as I know. Handicapped Match Booker T & Sharmell vs. The Boogeyman Hopefully, it will be a squash match and nothing more than that. World Tag Titles The Big Show & Kane vs. Carlito & Masters I've never been a Carlito fan, but Masters has grown on me and the fans seem to like them so I hope the new guys pull the win. Womens Championship Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James End the joke of a 14 reign that is Trish's run already, Micke! Here here. In short, this Wrestlemania will be decent if not forgettable at best and mostly be just like WM 13, nothing but one or two matches that will stick out to be remembered. If HHH AND Mysterio come out as the winners, I won't have any love for this show, believe that.
  22. So what? Edge was a good Intercontinental Champion FIVE years ago and *gasp* he was a good WWE Champion not too long ago! Thank you. Once again, we all know how shitty the creative team is. How is that Orton's fault? If he was booked correctly you know like actually winning the Rumble like he was supposed to and going on to beating the fucking shit out of Mysterio without a hitch, he wouldn't be having this crediblity problem and we wouldn't be having this conversation now would we? And I'm sure when you said wrestler, you actually meant to say entertaining spot monkey. Being over doesn't equal draw. See Hogan's 2002 title run. And you actually expect me to believe that being at 165 lbs., Rey Mysterio is supposed to be a credible, believeable champion who will headline PPVs defending and successfully retain the World Heavyweight Title against the likes of the Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Batista? I'm sure that's how it works for you in your little fantasy booking club, but I'm not buying it. So sorry to disappoint you. Oh yeah and as for the JBL / Orton argument, I said it before and I'll say it again, I'll take a shitty promo along with a good match over a good promo and a shitty match any day.
  23. this Yup, that Shawn Michaels sure is a man of his word.
