5/28: Channeling The History Of A Far-Away Galaxy
Swift Terror commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
I think that's the chick I'm thinking of. She hosts segments on video games, showing you what to do in certain situations? She co-hosted the G4 XBOX 360 release extravaganza. 25 sounds about right, I even thought she might be older. Most people on TV are older than one would think. Like the chick playing a senior in high school on Friday Night Lights is really 27 years old. But the G4 chick is definately quite bangable, no question. -

Oh, that chick. Can you imagine all the teenage gamers and tech nerds out there pulling the pud over her. Her image has probably had more pixel manipulation and been pasted on more desktops among that crowd than Britney Spears has on her best day. -
I don't care if you want to save gas, in fact, I rarely drive over 65, usually around 60, on the highway. But these people are taking it to the extreme and putting other drivers in danger. One of these days a trucker is going to squash one of these pinheads just for the fun of it for tailgating.

I too support the right of people to off themselves, just more stuff for the rest of us. I only wish more people would do so. Wow, I guess this puts me in agreement, in a roundabout sorta way, with the environmental nuts who feel that humans are a virus on the planet and would like to see the Earth's population greatly reduced. -

I saw that Star Wars special. It sucked, nothing new. Yeah thanks History Channel, but I heard about the whole Joseph Campbell myth thing back in the 1980s for god's sake. Why do we have to rehash it now? And especially with academic assholes who read far more into Lucas' motives than is really there. But there was something on the G4 channel (some hippy video game/technology channel) about the 30th anniversary. Forgot to record it, it looked like it would have been better. -
Although I'd rather be talking about Danica Patrick and the idea of her slurping milk in this weekend's Indy 500 winner's circle, ESPN's Dan Patrick is a tool of the week candidate. He pulled the classic "leading the witness" deal with Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis on his radio show. He brought up profiling and asked Lewis if his players were being profiled. Then all Lewis had to do was say "Yes, Dan they are". The obvious implication being race, although Danny boy never specified that. But now Lewis says he didn't really mean that, he was talking about profiling them as Bengal players, not as black men. Ok, I'll take Lewis at his word, although usually I would scoff at a next day apology/clarification like this. Patrick, you're a tool. This was all brought up because Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was pulled over for not signaling on a right hand turn. And this was on the heals of his being falsely accused of failing a drug test--his test was negative but some numbnut lawyer jumped the gun and said he failed the test. Well, include this lawyer as a tool of the week.
-
No, there were 2 or 3 white guys as well. Like I said, I'll take Lewis at his word that he wasn't talking about race. I forgot to mention that the Cincinnati police chief was on the radio this morning and he said Lewis explained his comments to him and that he was satisfied that Lewis' comments were not race-based.

5/24: Conserving Fuel The Christian Way
Swift Terror commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
I love how people blame "big oil" for the prices. "Big oil" has to put up with the enormous effort of getting crude oil from a sandbox and delivering it to a gas station as nice, pretty refined gasoline. And they have to put up with 14 federal regulations concerning gasoline. And the various blends that are mandated, such as switching to summer blend from winter blend. Yeah, that costs a lot of money to do. Not many people are aware that they have to swicth blends completely every summer and winter. Oh well, I still enjoy accelerating past hybrids, my high performance injectors just dumping boatloads of 93 octane fuel into the engine. -
5/23: Not Looking Rosie For The Celtics
Swift Terror commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
For some reason I wanted Boston to "win". It probably has to do with my inherent Conservative racism. I loved it when Larry Bird and Kevin McHale were among the best in the NBA. How come they couldn't pull off a conspiracy dammit? With all the old money, powerful bigshots in Mass., you're telling me no one could "make sure" that Boston got the #1 pick? Come on, this is America. This is bigtime sports here, the Celtics need to get back in the game. I'm very disappointed in New England here. Weak. I heard Dennis Miller playing the Rosie clip today. The most depressing thing about that is the audience members who cheer uproariously at her every utterance. "defend your own insinuations" is awesome. WTG Elizabeth. -
Rome was just talking about LeBron James and how he demonstrated that he is no Michael Jordan by passing the end-of-the-game last second shot off to a teammate instead of taking the shot himself. Rome is a complete ass. How can someone who purports to have a deep knowledge of sports make such an idiotic comment? Has he never heard of John Paxton and Steve Kerr? Jordan in fact passed off a last second shot not once, but twice, to the aforementioned players, during the post-season. Oh, update, 12:20--now he's mentioning Paxton and Kerr, someone must have clued him in...starting to backtrack slightly...but he's still sticking to his take! Ah, he's "in that situation, he has to take the shot". Um, Jordan did so "in that situation" you dumbass. He's stuck, he made his signature 'take' and now he can't back off it. Hilarious. Yeah, better move on to the O.J. suit story. Speaking of sports talk show hosts, they really are all a bunch of extremely jealous wanna-bees. Guys who played in high school and could never make it to college or the pros. So they end up talking about it instead of doing it. And most of them (not all by any means) no very little about breaking down sports and being knowledgeable about which team or player is better, etc. The PTI guys are a prime example--they know nothing about sports. Now, I don't either, but I can tell when someone else doesn't. Yesterday they said if the Pistons shut down LeBron James, they win, guaranteed. Well, they nearly lost and James had 4 points total I think, no more than 6 for sure. The Cavs were winning at one point by 10 or 12, with James at that point below 4 points.

5/22: #25, The King James Version Of Game Closeouts
Swift Terror commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
Let LSU have their tiger. It's not like a group of LSU trustees are going to go to the Serengetti plain and bag a tiger for themselves. It'll be a tiger that was destined for a cage anyway and now it will get the celebrity treatment. -
I agree Lushus, as I was watching I thought, damn! come on bro, drive in there and tie the game. But I don't agree with Rome when he says that this proves he's no MJ. Ridiculous take because of the obvious example of MJ doing the same thing in an important post season game. You can argue that he should've taken to the hole himself, without going down that road. And it wasn't a terrible play--it was obviously drawn up by the coaches. James baits them with the misdirection, whatisname gets WIDE open for a 3, he's their best 3 shooter. But yes, I wished he would have taken the shot himself and see whats what in overtime.

Foxnews' liberal bias, More Snotty Nonsense By Creeps
Swift Terror posted a blog entry in Triple Black
Fox News has given Michael Moore's new film "Sicko" a very positive, glowing review . Another example of liberal media bias. I tuned in to MSNBC the other day and there was Charles McCord and Lou Ruffino, two regulars on Imus in the Morning. WTF? Bernard McGirk was fired along with Imus, but these two are still there? Now, I didn't think any of them should have been fired, but how does MSNBC keep these two? Charles laughed specifically at the nappy-headed ho commment and Lou might have as well, I don't remember, but he certainly didn't protest to Imus or make any comment expressing his disapproval. Speaking of MSNBC, it appears that Joe Scarborough has changed his tune and is now pretty much a liberal on MSNBC. I'm pretty sure he was a typical Conservative on his former evening show. I heard him apologize to Hillary Clinton and suck up to her. -
5/20: The Customer Is Always Screwed

Well, at least she can use the money. I hate it when already financially secure people win, or worse, when the people blow all the money and/or screw up their lives horribly because they can't handle the sudden wealth. A study was done and found that most lottery winners end up worse off in the long run. I don't know who these numbnuts are, but I could handle it with no problem and so could most of the people I know. I wouldn't do things like carry $300,000 dollars in cash around in my pickup truck and leave it there while I went into a bar and partied up--some dope locally here in Ohio (or maybe it was Kentucky) did just that. -
Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are going to star in an upcoming movie. Now, I have an interest in this, should be a good flick and all that but I don't think it quite rises to the importance that this guy thinks it does. An event in world history? Jeez, fella, take it easy. I'll tell you what, get Charlton Heston and Sean Penn to co-star in your next movie and I'll agree with you. Glenn Beck is starting Hate University. Geraldo Rivera said Beck was a "hate cheerleader". Rivera also said anyone who disagreed with the new immigration bill was only doing so because they must be "afraid of the brown tide." Well, let me know when the admissions office opens I guess.

Crazy Preacher, Prince Harry, Season Finales, and Phelps
Swift Terror commented on Gary Floyd's blog entry in How To Vibrate
The preacher should be railing against Conservatives as well, certainly they are a hated group nowadays. I remember a preacher dude at Ohio State Univ. when I was there in 1987--people would gather around and yell at him. The thing is, he wasn't preaching any kind of hate, he was just going on about sin and all the Jesus stuff, but not insulting anybody. The only insulting going on was on the part of the college kids toward him. Fred Phelps is the one people should reserve their hatred for, not Falwell. Falwell had nothing in common with Phelps. Phelps wants people to die, is glad when they die. Falwell never expressed that view. They didn't want Harry going over there because they were afraid he'd slip his Nazi uniform one morning. -
Invaders? You're starting to sound like Michael Savage.

The Union of European Football Associations Champions League is the Major Leagues, the NFL of Soccer. They are having their championship, their Super Bowl this month...ON A WEDNESDAY. Man, that is bitchin. Nice going, Europe. The most important sporting event of the year is taking place on a wednesday. Now, NASCAR stupidly blows their load by having their Super Bowl as the first race of the season, but at least they have the sense to do it on the weekend. But I might have to tune in because one of the players has the same name as my Dad, with 1 extra letter (Stephen Gerrard, plays for Liverpool). I cleaned the throttle body (TB) and combustion chamber on my car. It's probably never been done and doing so will improve gas mileage. It's pretty easy but I think it will need another cleaning. Anyway, I nearly screwed up my engine in the process, which could have cost me thousands of dollars. I purchased the appropriate cleaning agent at the dealer--never use generic cleaner that is not specific to combustion chambers. Then all you have to do is disconnect the air cleaner hose leading to the TB, this exposes the opening of the TB, and this is where you spray the cleaner into. Now, on my car there are two holes within the TB that you must plug up. I had no plugs that fit (or any other kind of plugs--who has plugs like this lying around??), so I used tape. Well, after you spray the cleaner in you need to run the engine in order to get it fully into the system. Thinking I might spray some more after the first go-round, I left the tape on. Well, this monumental stupidity nearly got the tape sucked into the engine. And once it's in there the only way to get it out is to tear down the engine. You only get so many of these "mulligans" in life and I hate using one up like that. 1:57 pm: How long will it be before some secular Lefty mouths off on this? Over the next few days, we are going to hear how he is no doubt in Hell right now, something along the lines of "Well, he's probably turning a crispy brown right about now." Oh well, maybe Keanu Reeves can rescue him. 2:32 pm: Bob Barker is retiring from The Price is Right. Barker is the man. He has been staple of American television for decades. I always loved how he would very subtley get frustrated and testy with the particularly dumb contestants. And he was nailing the hot presenter-babes while in his 60s.
-
Man, that's crazy. I can't even keep all that straight. Anyway, ESPN is going to show the Champions League final, which will air obviously 5 hours earlier here in the states--while everyone in America is working. Not that anyone here would pay attention anyway, but oh well.

Ohio, which demonstrated its lowly state of existence a year ago by passing a smoking ban, now has topped itself. Legislation has passed that bans touching at strip joints and has mandated that patrons must be six feet away from the dancers at all times, a so-called "6 foot bubble" that must be maintained around the dancers. No more dollars in g-strings, no more leaning in for a close look in Ohio. God, we suck. At least these chicks are fighting back. Vincent Bugliosi, famous for prosecuting nutjob Charlie Manson, has written a magnum opus, 1600 pages worth, refuting the JFK conspiracy nuts. Not that we really needed this, but there are still numbnuts out there that think along the lines of an Oliver Stone. 3 quick points: 1. Despite people's claims, the act of getting off 3 shots from Oswald's location in a certain amount of time is not impossible and has in fact been duplicated over the years. Out of those duplications, 2 shooters have bested Oswald's results (2 or more head shots as opposed to Oswald's 1). 2. The magic bullet nonsense is actually on the part of the conspiracy nuts. When they talk about a magic bullet, it is because they have misrepresented where Connelly was sitting in relation to the president. Yep, it's that simple. The bullet travelled as it should based on where Connelly was really sitting. If the conspiracy nuts are right, the bullet would have ended up stuck in the car somewhere, because they say it would have had to make a right turn, etc. in order to hit Connelly. There was no bullet found elsewhere, and they can't explain where it ended up. 3. Kennedy's head did in fact move forward (as can be seen in a frame shot from the Zapruder film) before it moved backward, just as it should. For a brief microsecond, his head moved forward, then snapped backward, just as physics allow.

Ohio gets dumber, JFK put to bed
Swift Terror commented on Swift Terror's blog entry in Triple Black
Yeah, Gerald Posner wrote "Case Closed" more than 10 years ago also. Just shows you that no matter what is done with this, it will not stop the conspiracy nuts. -
Ah, there you go exposing my ignorance of soccer. Anyway, what is this weekend league play you speak of--is it a different league than the Champions League?

5/16: See You In Hell Eddie, Err, Jerry
Swift Terror commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
Damn library. The thing is, he never said he wished death or AIDS or anything else on anyone. He was merely describing his view of Christianity, which may be different from other Christians. But he never said he was glad or happy that certain sinners were going to hell. This sets him apart from the people who indeed wished death upon him and are happy that he is dead. They are in point of fact demonstrating the very attitude that they think Falwall demonstrated. -
5/14: Dirty Movies, Stinky Kitties

We watched the full, unedited version of Romeo and Juliette. I forget what grade it was, it might have been freshman or sophomore year of HS. -
Another example of the Left's tolerance and willingness to support the right of someone expressing their views, even if those views differ from theirs. Watched "Heroes" and the season finale of "The Unit" last night, which I recorded on the High Def DVR. Heroes is just getting on my nerves. It's not as good as the hype surrounding it. The storyline with the blonde chick with the violent alter-ego and her husband and their child is painfully boring. The cheerleader is very annoying. The Unit, however is first class. David Mamet, you can't go wrong. The show almost never attempts to dumb-down to the audience--often I have to rewind to pick up on something that is happening. D.E. Jr is bolting from DEI, though he still owns 51% of the company. When he switches car numbers, it's going to be a problem for the diehard fans who have 8 all over their house, yard, vehicles, some even with tattoes. Their was a commercial a while back where Dale Jr made an announcement that he was changing car numbers and all these people were going nuts tearing down all the 8s they had, only for Jr to say "just kidding." Well, not anymore. Al Sharpton cracked on Mormons. Then he was on Paula Zahn's show demonstrating ingorance of the Mormon faith. Then he was on Glenn Beck still demonstrating ignorance of the Mormon fatih. He apologized to all Mormons....except Mitt Romney. Hilarious. He's expecting Mormons to accept his apology, although he certainly did not accept Imus' apology. Now, I think the stuff Mormons believe is damn near right up there with Scientologists on the weirdness scale, but so what. They aren't hurting anybody and I couldn't care less what they believe. And apparently 60 Minutes is grilling Romney on whether or not he had premarital sex. What a bunch a little babies. They're trying to play gotcha with the Mittster. Now, Bapists believe premarital sex is a sin, Bill Clinton said he was a Bapist, did this come up then? Oh.
