  1. I didn't hop on any bandwagon, but thanks, Bulls, Lakers, Chargers, Packers, Sox and Dodgers fan!
  2. As CanadianChris said, please find my posts about the Mets. That'd be awesome! If you couldn't tell that I was being facetious about me saying "I want to kill myself" I feel sorry for you.
  3. Thank you for quoting a post that shows my devotion the Saints. It's a nice contrast to your cartman-esque season's over post when it was the 6th inning
  4. Stephanie has always been my favourite character, and I really hated how she got pushed to the background in favour of Michelle. Who was terrible. She recently had a kid and was on the cover of People
  5. It was still very early in the game, the Tigers aren't that good, etc. You're a terrible fan to write your team off like that
  6. It was the sixth inning in a close game. So no, I can't relate to being fucked or feeling like all hope was gone
  7. They both suck, how about that?
  8. The twins have a myspace I believe.
  9. I'm not being an asshole, I'm correcting you on the noteworthy skits thing. Even if you didn't like them, they're still noteworthy. The Rock was supposed to host November 10. The UCB "fundraising" show was basically a collection of skits cut from dress rehearsals and readthroughs. It wasn't an actual fundraiser. K-e-n-a-n= Kenan.
  10. Yes, other than the two very noteworthy skits they've done, SNL has done nothing noteworthy in 3 shows.
  11. fuck that boring shit Even if you think it's boring (which it's not), it's still two skits that they've done that were noteworthy. The first Tina as Palin skit was all over the news, and the second one was one of the top stories at Yahoo! He has Fred Armisen doing this awful impression of Obama. I'm sure there's a black guy out there somewhere who can portray him
  12. Comedy did in fact hurt Brock Lesnar's credibility, personally for me anyways. I never looked at him the same after he did that sombraro dancing stuff with Eddie. Goldberg in WWE is another example. The Goldust wig stuff made him look like a fool. The guy left a month after the somberero dancing. The Goldust wig stuff is overblown- it's just some talking point that Meltzer and Alvarez like to beat into the ground. Of all the things that hurt Goldberg, that's pretty low on the list.
  13. The Lucky Ones joined the sub-$1,000 PSA club this weekend! I'll go into more detail in the sub $1,000 PSA thread but this is another one that I saw! I saw it a few weeks ago at a Q-n-A with the director, and it was actually really good. I felt bad for the director, since you could tell he knew his movie was going to tank
  14. It also takes an absolute genius not to look at the time of the post in question before making an insult. You still butchered Omar's name
  15. My (incorrect) predictions- Barron Predicts the Box Office: 1) Eagle Eye- 43.4 2) Nights at Rodanthe 14.6 3) Miracle at St. Anna 9.2 4) Lakeview Terrace 8.4 5) Burn After Reading 6.6 6) Igor 6.0 7) My Best Friend's Girl 4.0 8) Righteous Kill 3.6 9) Tyler Perry 3.3 10) The Women 2.8 Fantasymoguls- FINAL PREDICTIONS FOR THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 26 1. NEW – Eagle Eye (Dreamworks/Paramount) – $28M 2. NEW – Nights in Rodanthe (Warner Bros) - $12.9M 3. Lakeview Terrace (Sony) - $6.75M 4. NEW – The Miracle at St. Anna (Disney) - $5.8M 5. Igor (MGM) - $3.1M 10. The Women (Picturehouse) - $3M For the record, I had Fireproof doing about a $3,000 PTA and around 2 million weekend cume, not enough to make the top 10. boxofficeguru- 1) Eagle Eye- 30 mil 2) Nights in Rodanthe- 12 mil 3) Lakeview Terrace- 8 mil 4) Burn After Reading- 6.5 5) Miracle in St. Anna- 6 mil My Best Friend's Girl- 3.5
  16. The two in a row thing is worse. At least you got to sniff the playoffs. What's happened the last two years is mean.
  17. That was just a cruel ending.
  18. Last year because of Glavine, this was hilarious. Now it's just depressing.
  19. Apparently they're having a closing ceremony when this game ends. How depressing and awkward is that going to be?

    NFL Week Four

That was kind of weird, but given how crazy the game had gone, might as well get up by 21
  21. I thought Agent's gig was mostly TCS. Anyway, kind of depressing to close Shea Stadium out like this.

    NFL Week Four
