This Saints game is way too close for my liking. I like how everytime the Saints score, the Times Picayune make sure to talk about how they put the nail in the Skins coffin. Shut up guys.

Fun fact: That actually happened. But I was screaming Meachem!

James Storm possibly suffers a concussion

WWE always does it. They get a practice run at the PPV card. Not really, Matt. Often the WWE will take the weekend of a PPV off. -
Righteous Kill sucked. Hard.

Bangkok Dangerous' second weekend drop is 52nd all time. I guess you're not counting the Ocean movies. Clooney's never really had one. Pitt had 100 mil grosses with Seven and Interview with a Vampire.

Watching the Rams play is just sad

2,000 is a wide release. There are places that a Tyler Perry movie just isn't going to play, so that's why they don't super-saturate it.

This is a box office upset, for sure.

WWE General Discussion - September 2008
bob_barron replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
What would WWE have to do to convince him to end the streak to HHH of all people? I don't think another title run would be enough or even a bigger contract would get the job done. HHH can't win this one. He should just focus on finding ways to get to #17 before his body gives out. Just like Barry Sanders with Walter Payton...I hope HHH has enough respect for Flair to not want to break, or even tie, his record of 16. That's not what happened, and comparing a real sport to a worked sport is silly. -

I still don't get why the Texans wouldn't just play the game somewhere else. Loved Czech's post though.
-
He was terrible?
-
How did Middle America naturally fail at it? It's the WWE that pushed him down everyone's throats, quickly turned him into a generic heel and then went over the line with the Taker angle. Read the threads about that stuff from 05, it's great.
-
This Tyra Banks gimmick is terrible. It just amazes me that people on this board can't spell a simple word like lose. How stupid are you people?
-
Why? Is it the New Orleans thing that makes you a fan? You're from NYC, so I'm just curious as to why a Saints move would turn you off the team. I became a fan because my family is from the South, so I was raised to be a Saints fan, it's part of the geography. I love the city of New Orleans, the fleur-de-lis and all that. If they moved, it just wouldn't be the same team to me, even if they kept the colours and the name. I just couldn't root for the Los Angeles Saints.
-
I was warned a few times, but they got removed. And it's an not a, Brody.
-
The crowd is really annoying, especially yelling at Solie's son.
-
I don't really think the media does that anymore in America. Plus, it's the most infamous day of the last 50 years, of course it deserves constant chatter. That said, I did a bunch of bits about 9/11 when I did stand-up. Good times.

No Survivor Series 92 for me. -
None of my teams have moved in my lifetime, so I can't tell you. If the Saints moved, they'd be dead to me.

You l-o-s-e power, you don't l-o-o-s-e it. Two different words.
