  1. Saturn v. Raven was the usual Raven crap and was pretty boring. Rhyno v. Tajiri was a 4 minute squash to kill time. The match was a major dissapointment and had both guys moving like they were in slow motion. I mean- hair slams? Too much overbooking and Booker was made to look like a bitch. That Austin v. Angle match is the worst of the series. From the non sensical ending to the fact that nothing exciting really happens. Watch all their other matches and then watch the Unforgiven match- It pales in comparison. The show was pretty good but once agan- NO extras. I only got it cause it was on sale for $7 Canadian at Wal Mart. I would get No Mercy (also bare bones) over Unforgiven
  2. Why Unforgiven 2001? There are no extras and the show itself isn't that good
  3. That whole HHH returned and held down RVD theory is complete bullshit. People like to think that the Jericho v. RVD feud "ended" on January 7th- the night Triple H came back. In fact- the feud "ended" 4 days before that
  4. That match was killing me- Punk is trying his hardest to pull something out of this but Shane keeps resting. At least Revenge on the Prophecy Shane was able to keep the chinlocks to a minimum and Punk dragged something good out of him
  5. Julius Smokes out there twice going: BLEE IT UP BLEE IT UP YEA YEA YEA FHDH SJSSJD HSHDSJ JSKSKSSJSJSJS I'm there
  6. I haven't seen the show but I know Black Tiger (Mike Campbell) didn't think it was that great. I've seen- Final Battle- While not a bad show- it's not one of the elite ROH shows. Revenge on the Prophecy- A great main event tag match, a fun 4-way, and Dragon v. Joe. RRC 2- Daniels v. Red, Red v. Daniels, London v, Daniels, Punk v. Homicide and Joe v. Williams- some good stuff. Do or Die- Punk wrestles twice, Special K v. Backseats, Joe v. Homicide, Whitmer v. Maff, and Stryker v. Carter
  7. The joke was: On my flight here we made a stop at the Empire State Building. I read it in EW and I think the fact that not many people care about Gilbert is why. Well that sucks- if Comedy Central is going to make it TV-MA and air it late at night- then go all the way
  8. It sounds like the main feature is the 45 minute special and the extras are the performances. That's because some of the performances weren't in the clipped special. They used to do a best of the previous season a week before the premiere and release it on video. I have best of 1975, best of 1991 and others. I wouldn't care about them releasing various seasons but if they're gonna release anthologies like that- well screw the music. I don't really understand. Do they have to get permission from each host/musical guest to release it on DVD? I think there is a demographic for the old school SNLs. There are still all those people who when I talk SNL talk about the first 5 years as being the best. I think the appeal of having the greatest seasons in SNL history (Well in many people's opinion) would be a big appeal. In Lorne's mind the 80-85 seasons never existed and there's already a Best of Eddie Murphy so need to release those seasons. I'd just like to see them use the material they have and do something with it. Maybe for the 30th anniversary??
  9. I don't mean to spam but at 411 Mike Campbell and I have reviewed pretty much every tape after All Star Extravaganza.
  10. Actually he does. He relies too much on rest holds as transitions and it always slows down his matches. He's a great character and a terrific heel- but not a good worker
  11. I know Homicide already wrestled once but he's considering he's one of the best workers in Ring of Honor- I would never complain about seeing him work twice. Also considering Homicide is in the midst of main event level with Steve Corino- there really was no way they could just have him job to Sabin- a guy who is still finding his way in ROH. How long did Credible v. Stryker go btw?
  12. Also- Booker T has two great matches on Superbrawl VIII
  13. No problem bps- You're missing out on some good stuff
  14. I like old school style matches so I was REALLY into Triple H v. Booker- The ending sucked but the match hooked me in and had me pulling for Booker to win. bps- All you said was Booker didn't have a good match aside from his stuff v. Benoit. I think I've given you examples.
  15. April 1st, 2002. January 24th, 2002. August 9th, 2002. See above. They still happened- and I remember your qualifications were one good match aside from v. Benoit.
  16. The Bash at the Beach match was great- especially when you consider they were thrown out there. . January 24th edition of Smackdown. It courred on July 16th or 23rd. Him and Triple H faced each other twice.
  17. It's on the Action DVD and is a WCW title change so I think it's a match people will remember. What about the Bash of the Beach title switch with Jarrett? Last Nitro with Steiner? Summerslam with Rock? All 3 of his matches with Angle were awesome. If you want recent stuff- well Booker T spent 2002 predominantly in a tag team with Goldust. He still managed to have a good match with Lance Storm on RAW and his teaming with Goldust produced some of the best tag matches of 2002.
  18. v. Kurt Angle WCW Title Change. I can name much more but there ya go Believe it or Angle carried that one... Give us one where Booker carried the workload... I'll have to watch the match again but I don't remember a Kurt Angle carry job. CanadianChick- Booker has had numerous good matches with Jeff Jarrett, Steve Austin, Lance Storm, The Rock, Chris Jericho, RVD and I enjoyed his series with Triple H. He also had some good stuff with Steiner.
  19. v. Kurt Angle WCW Title Change. I can name much more but there ya go
  20. Ummm...Booker is carryable...I haven't seen anyone carry X... During E&C days, he had good matches (and not just the gimmick matches). His feud with Edge was pretty good too. Booker has that best of 7. I can't think of anything else, sorry. Those were tag team matches where he didn't have to do much. His feud with Edge sucked. The match at Unforgiven was dissapointing and the No Mercy ladder match was way too long
  21. Christian's matches lack interest. He does nothing in a match to make me think he is something worthwhile
  22. You mean like the time when I showed you 15 good matches Booker T had post-best of 7?
  23. Matches I've seen involving Booker T. Matches I've seen involving Christian.
  24. He's a lot better then Christian
  25. That SUCKS. Christian is an awful wrestler and doesn't deserve to be the champion. I hope Book gets well soon
