The SAW movies are all front-loaded like that. Every SAW opens to about 30 mil and then has a steep drop-off. The final gross should be in the mid-60s. I thought it'd do 65 million going in, and after the opening day, I thought it would do about 55-60. No way should a kids movie fall 9 percent from Friday to Saturday. I think it will hold up well though, kids movies usually do. The movie barely cost anything to make, so I'm sure Disney is happy.

If a team has the resources and ability to spend, they should be allowed to with no restrictions. It's unfair to punish the big market teams that can spend, because there are poorly run small market organisations. He won a Cup, so I'm sure he's okay with that. I haven't read anything about that next year, and that's why he's going to the Leafs. Come on, I doubt they would've tried. And they still have Lidstrom, Rafalski, all those Russians, and were able to get the best free agent on the market anyway! Plus, even though he was a non-factor, they still were able to keep Hasek around for a few years. The Oilers couldn't keep Smyth and had to trade him. It's the same old shit. I don't know, I've heard plenty of this movie. A lot of people speculated it might be a Dirty Harry sequel at first. Eastwood stays out of the spotlight when he's not promoting a movie, his movie shoots are generally low budget and no frills, and this movie has no name actors besides himself- it's easy to keep a low profile.
