Then the close proximity of each PPV is the bad thing, not the rematches themselves.
-
You sure make it sound as if we've seen those matches ad nauseum. They're all basically rematches from the previous PPV but with new stips. Is that too bad a thing? They aren't allowed to put rematches on? Or are we gonna use that all too popular "X wrestler vs Y wrestler version 96897598" after only a couple of matches? We've only seen each ONCE except and maybe Lashley vs Vince if you count those 3 on 1 matches where Vince did mostly nothing.

When was this reported? Is it a fact or just rumor? And regarding Edge vs Batista

BUMP. So Federer FINALLY beat Nadal on clay to claim the Hamburg Championship. Good for Roger after a rather lackluster year (for his standards, anyway). It gives him a good boost to go after that Roland Garros Title.

This question is for you Jercholic82, since you work a video store. Can you confirm that the Ladder Match dvd is indeed coming out on June 5th? The wweshop.com site has it coming out on August. I'm asking 'cause I placed an order on amazon.com for the WM23 , Backlash, and Ladder Match dvds and since my order won't be shipped until all of those have been released I don't want to wait until fricking August to get my Mania and Backlash dvds. BTW, amazon. com has killer prices for both the WM23 and Ladder Match dvds. They're only about $20 each. EDIT: Nevermind. WWEShop also has it for June 5th.

I'm not gonna argue with people's tastes in movies or super-heroes, as you can like whatever you want. However, stating that one movie is better than the other because of a featured villain's propensity of commiting murder or his/hers redeeming qualities, as tommytomlin said, is weak at best. For the record, I feel Spider-Man 2 is the greatest superhero movie ever. Hell, Spider-Man is the greatest superhero ever (there goes that topic again.) And to back this up I'll refer you HERE. 'Nuff said. Well fuck that list. It doesn't even include Unbreakable. Unbreakable is totally kick-ass but it's a comic-book-related movie, not a movie BASED on a comic-book. THAT is what the list is about, big difference.

Affleck was very good in Changing Lanes, Good Will Hunting, and Hollywoodland. I suggest you check those movies out and see if maybe your opinion changes. And a BIG FU to the Saving Private Ryan and Star Wars haters from yours truly.

Suggest some Graphic novels and Trade Paperbacks

I believe it's called either "Emerald Dawn" or "Emerald Twilight". Never read it, though. -
Spider-Man 3's official box office is now $151 million.

5 Greatest Intercontinental Champions

Which are those? I don't remember that many great matches, really, except his loss to Bret Hart (and he had a better one, non-Title with him at KOTR.) -
Albums that are unlike any other album in a band's discography

I was gonna mention that. Why would you get slammed? -
I completely agree on this. And the same can be said about the comics, for us who follow them.

My quick toughts: The fight scenes were terrific, specially the last one. All the quick and sudden action made my girlfriend jump off her seat several times. The story still focuses more on Peter Parker rather than Spidey and that's a GOOD thing. The movie (and the comic for that matter) may be titled Spider-Man but Peter's dealings should always carry the load of the story. "Evil Peter" was great. Mcguire was born to play Peter Parker. The villains were very impressive, both Grace and Hayden portrayed them correctly. Venom and the Sandman ruled. J. Jonah Jameson was awesome as usual. No better than Spider-Man 2 but another great Spidey episode in the saga, hopefully not the last, but most of the characters left still have tons of potential for next installments. Except for Dunst who was rather unimpressive and got totally blown away by that girl who played Gwen Stacy. Other than that I have no big complaints for this movie and hopefully I'll be catching it again this weekend.

Thanks for that info. Those matches were not something to die for but were pretty decent so I'll check Blockbuster and if they have a good price I might pick it up.

Blockbuster has done exclusives for Royal Rumble and No Way Out 07 now. I knw the second disc of No Way Out had an 8-man tag (I think Cena/HBK/Taker/Batista vs. Edge/Orton/Kennedy/MVP from the Thursday RAW) and I think one other match. I'm pretty sure that match you mention is one of the extras on the regular NWO2007 dvd, not for an additional disc. It'd be great if someone could confirm this and if there's actually a special NWO2007 dvd with an extra disc.

Lost in Translation comes to mind.

Smackdown spoilers from Birmingham, Ala.

Another set of spoilers, taken from 411mania.com. There are a couple of different results regarding the original post on this thread: -
I'm thinking of taking a nap after work, before going to the midnight show so I don't get as tired. I'm making my girlfriend skip classes also so she can go with me. The only thing that would make this better is if I had midnight show tickets for the IMAX shows but it's not the case. I might have to catch it on IMAX later, though.

Totally awesome.

I do admit to somewhat liking Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" back in the day, although I haven't listened to that song in ages until I heard the Meatloaf version. I didn't even know there was another version previous to Dion's one, either. My favorite Jim Steinman songs have to be Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (was there also another version of this?), Air Supply's "Making Love Out of Nothing At All" (yes, I do like that song), and Meatloaf's version of "Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through" (I believe Jim Steinman previously recorded it for his solo album) from Bat Out Of Hell II. That Steinman dude sure likes to recycle his songs.

I just bought the Royal Rumble 2007 dvd (used) from amazon.com and much to my surprise my dvd came with an extra disc with the following: John Cena and Umaga contract signing from RAW. Shawn Michaels vs Edge Street Fight from RAW. Undertaker vs Mr. Kennedy from SD! Lashley vs RVD vs Test from ECW on Sci-Fi Apparently this was a Blockbuster Video exclusive, since it says so on the cover art. Anyone knows about any other exclusives like this on other WWE dvds? This was a most welcome surprise for sure.
