That match actually did happen at New Blood Rising in 2000. It featured hardly any Goldberg, and a more able Scott Steiner. I think Kevin Nash was worse back then than he was in his main event push this year. The entire show is pretty funny, I recomend you all hunt it down and rent it (I found it, and many other WCW ppvs, at Movie Scene).

There is nothing good that can come out of Kevin Nash vs Goldberg. For Nash's sake he should have retired with some dignity after Badd Blood.

Do you really see Goldberg laying down for anyone besides Triple H? Seriously, ever?

The obvious choices are John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Randy Orton. Fear not, for I see these four main eventing for a long time (except maybe Benoit, only because he had that neck surgery that Austin also had and look what happened to Austin).
