That is if they don't re-sign him. The Bears might benefit from giving Leftwich a look. I don't care if it shatters Rex's confidence. You make moves in the best interest of the team, not one guy.
Leftwich doesn't seem to make decisions like he just got hit in the head with a hammer, but we'd basically be giving up one completely immobile quarterback for another. At least Leftwich has a minor height advantage.
We don't need a Michael Vick back there. We need a guy that gets the ball where the receivers are and like you said, Leftwich doesn't make horrible decisions like Grossman does. I think Leftwich got the shaft in Jacksonville because Del Rio never liked the guy, so it would be interesting to see how he does on a team that has an open mind towards him.
