I'll take a page out of the Dama playbook, "LSU was overconfident! They weren't ready!" I don't really think anyone can beat Texas outside USC, but given a choice between LSU and Penn State, I'd be more confident in LSU. Penn State is overrated in my opinion (before you say it, yes USC is overrated, Texas is overrated, everyone in the top 4 is overrated.)

Ron Dayne has looked good in the select games he appeared in as a Bronco, and we can't forget his Wisconsin collegiate career. Does this mean he is #1 in the NFL? No. You have to take in account EVERYTHING that happens to him. He got injured, yes, but he also underperformed because of said injuries. Like I said, if he returns to his freshman form next year, I'd have no problems giving him his props. Right now? No.

Ok well if you're going to put Bush at one then you have to put AD JUST behind him. The edge AD has is his ability to recieve and return. Without those then he is no better than Peterson. Peterson is a prototypical I-Formation running back and he's the best in the country at that. I mean Bush makes people miss but Peterson says "get off motherfucker" and tosses them or drag them. I mean while you've seen Bush make jaw-dropping plays by leaving guys in his dust you've seen Peterson do the same by breaking tackles and dragging guys with him to the endzone. And this seasno isn't a good indication for Peterson since he's been hurt since literally the first game of the season. And the Alexander and LT thing is that Salisbury was saying Bush is JUST AS GOOD as those two. Which is total bullshit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't put AD at #2 after this season, but if he returns to form next year, I'd have no problem putting him at #2 or even #1 if Bush underperforms/leaves USC. And I don't care what ESPN says. Right now Bush doesn't begin to touch the best backs in NFL. He needs to...prove himself in the NFL climate.

Dama, you have to stop equating me thinking someone else is better with me "denying" his greatness. Given a choice between LaDainian Tomlinson and Shaun Alexander, I'd be inclined to choose LT, however it doesn't mean Shaun isn't any good. AD is very good, but he's no Bush.
