Okay, I don't know if I'm the only person here familiar with 1990s Bon Jovi, but this piano piece they use in the Jericho-Cena package (and I know they used it for another feud a few months back) sounds alot like the beginning of "These Days". Yes, random, I know.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Uncle Elmer vs. Adrian Adonis from WM2.
-
Actually, Vince should take a page out of Mr. Burns' book back when he was feuding with Arthur Fortune and drop silver dollars from the ceiling. That'd be quality television.
-
I'll just mention Comatose by Skillet and go back into my little corner.

More than that Pussycat Dolls song? Calling anything done by the Pussycat Dolls a "song" is an insult to actual songs everywhere.

I remember reading the same article. She called him "The Phantom".

Pretty sure it was Vampiro. EDIT: Hey, look at that, I completely forgot I had him as my avatar.

Thanks to JasonX for all the answers. I had no idea about this whole "X-Men France", "X-Men India", "X-Men Whatever" deal. And why does Madrox winning a TV reality quiz show NOT surprise me?

Okay, so I used to be a big comic fan, mainly X-Men/X-Force/X-Factor etc., many years ago. I started thinking about random characters today, and wondered what happened to them either after I stopped reading or after they had been gone for a while. Cannonball -- I know he joined the X-Men...did they ever go anywhere else with the "Immortals" storyline? Avalanche & Captain Crimson -- I might be wrong on the second guy's name...these two were in Freedom Force and they left Blob & Pyro to get captured in the last Freedom Force storyline. Blob & Pyro later joined the New Brotherhood (at least I think that's what they were called...the group's debut was what led up to Sauron "killing" Cannonball), but what happened to the other two? Madrox -- Did he ever come back to life, like so many did before him? X-Force -- I know the whole premise of this book was changed, but what happened to everyone in the old group? Thanks in advance to those who can provide some answers.

Since someone already mentioned "Wasted Time" by Skid Row, I'll throw in "Wasted Years" by Iron Maiden. Hopefully that qualifies.
-
Two more obvious ones: Cold -- "End of the World" Gamma Ray -- "Armageddon"

A quick search gives us this: October 31, 1994: Lex Luger defeated Bob Backlund by Disqualification...The 1-2-3 Kid pinned Tony Devito...King Kong Bundy pinned Bert Centeno...Jim Neidhart defeated Tony Roy by submission. The sad thing? That episode was probably more entertaining than tomorrow night's will be.

I actually don't even know how I got around it. Best thing I could tell you is, if you download WM Recorder again, click on the "PRO" button and then click on "Recording Options" and check the box that says "Enable Internet Explorer". You'll probably have to close the program out and open it again, but after that, every time you go to open a file, it shows up in the Recorder box, then just hit "record". There's been a few times where it cut out on me and gave me the "2 minute" thing, but I tried again and so far I've been able to get every match on here that I've tried getting (basically every match between the two shows except for Tajiri-Tomko and the Simon squash).
-
Somehow I was able to get the matches I wanted from Heat/Velocity onto my computer using the WM Recorder demo. Now the only problem is I can't put them on a DVD because of the dreaded "copy-protection". Anyone know a way around this?

I'm pretty sure DDP wasn't one of the guys who was originally picked up. I think he took a buyout a few months later. Stamboli...I don't remember seeing him on the list of guys who were picked up, so he was probably signed a little while later. The Wall and Evan Karagias were also among the guys picked up, but neither ever made TV. Yang was actually released, too, but they signed him again after a match he had with Tommy Dreamer on Heat.

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
LoRisk replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
166. During If They Mated: "WHY?" 167. Also during ITM: "We haven't DONE anything yet!" 168. Conan trains with the Maple Leafs 169. Conan's fighting style 170. "And then ______ punched my head off." 171. Leg-wrestling with John Malkovich 172. The French bug guy trying to release a butterfly in the studio, only to have it fall right back on the table. 173. Conan trying to sell his car -
Something to shoot down the Purgatory theory, which I think I said early on during the first season: If they're in Purgatory, then Claire's baby, Vincent, and possibly Walt wouldn't be there.

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
LoRisk replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
94. "Uh, Late Night With WHO?" 95. The playing of "Ace of Spades" during any fight scene. 96. Michael Bolton threatens to take Conan's head off with a softball. -
"Too many characters" or not, I'd mark for Madrox/Multiple Man.

Actually, I'd say Live's past two albums (V, Birds of Pray) have been among their best. They don't top Throwing Copper, but they're definitely ahead of the other three albums. It's a shame that, together, they both only really had 2-3 "hits".

No idea if this is common knowledge, but since I saw it for the first time the other day....who was War Machine in the second War Games in '87?

That'd be 09/28/02.
