    Fucking Wisconsin

Man, poor Brewers. They couldn't even be considered as newsworthy as snow. That's gotta sting.

    The Dark Knight

I'm sorry, but I could believe that if Nolan opts out. Warner Brothers is still stupid and probably would believe that Batman name could sell. Right now Nolan has saved the franchise and both he and Bale has made it crystal clear that Robin will show up over their dead bodies. I don't see WB being stupid enough to fire them but if they opt out, I could see them being that stupid with Shia.
  3. didn't he just get shot and survive, and have a lot of puppies at the end? what's everybody's favorite dog death in a movie? mine is 'magnolia'. No, Hooch died. The big one at the end was the puppy that looked like him. He already knocked up the female dog with his puppies before he got shot and died in the vet office. They tried to tack on the happy "puppy" ending but even Tom Hanks admitted it was a depressing ending when you really think about it.

    Christian Cage / WWE

I figured out years ago Vince is totally insane. Plus odds are keeping his body in shape from all his handy helpers have left his brain a little bit like swiss cheese. Nevermind his delusional opinion that big men always beat small men in a fight. I would like to see what Tomko looks like now though.

    X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Probably not, but they might let him considering it will be established Deadpool went insane by that point. Ryan Reynolds is one of those sarcastic dickheads who I think COULD pull off Pool and the wait to see if he does is murder. The trailer seemed to be more about getting people excited for Gambit (who from what I can tell is NOT part of the program and it's just some guy Wolverine meets when he escapes, which again does make sense) and selling the action.

    X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Correct me if I'm wrong but Wade didn't get his disfigurement and costume until he joined Weapon X? So maybe what we saw was just the initial start before the program got their hands on him. Which would make perfect sense with his storyline. It's one short from a trailer and we don't know if that is the before or after. If he stays that way, yeah, I'll be ticked off. But from what I heard, he does become disfigured and into the mask later in the film, which is surprisingly accurate. Considering how much Ryan loves the Deadpool character, I doubt he'd have agreed if they completely destroyed the character.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep gameplay

Honestly if the Disney link was severed, I'd have absolutely no interest in the game. Neither would my girl, which was the main reason for purchasing the first one. I really was never a fan of FF after 7, the story for this was dark but had a nice lightness to it that made it interesting. No Disney, no sale. Mickey flipping around kicking more ass than Yoda was one of the coolest moments in the last two. Who knew Mickey could fuck up a dark lord?
  8. Obviously someone didn't learn from Turner and Hooch. Even Tom Hanks knows, "You don't kill the lovable dog in your dog movie".

    The 2008 MLB Offseason Thread

You kidding? The Orioles already made a big free agent splash when they signed CEASAR!!! to a two year deal. Tex was just one of those guys they were considering in case things didn't work out with that huge blockbuster. To be fair, 10 years was a lot to offer the guy and I guess they are just going to call his "I've always wanted to play for Baltimore" bluff by giving him the years but lower cash (course now their years have been lapped as well). Woulda thought an extra 10 mil would have been worth it to finally seal that 3 or 4 slot in the line-up and get someone to hit behind Nick but guess not. Plus they need pitching and this was a bad year for it. I think Sheets would have been worth the risk but apparently he's in worst shape injury wise than I thought possible. At the very least if he held up until the All-Star break and was having a strong year, perhaps he's trade bait to snag a few quality young pitchers from a desperate team. But with the way teams are avoiding him like the plague, something tells me he is about ready to go full on Mark Prior. It doesn't help the Orioles that most of their young arms are seriously injury prone or fail to develop until they are trade. D-Cab will probably go somewhere else now and turn into a god damn 15 game winner stud.

    NFL Week 16

DONOVAN VS T.O ROMO VS THE WINTER WADE PHILLIPS VS ANDY REID EAGLES VS COWBOYS! There is just zero way to avoid it. Although you are right, if anyone could bump it then FAVRE! FAVRE! FAVRE! for the AFC EAST would. Madden loves him some Brett Favre.

Win or lose, that game is going Primetime. Might as well accept the reality now.

    Weekend Box Office Report

Pretty sure he's also not supposed to look like he could snap your neck and do it while making sure his coat doesn't get dirty. Bond doesn't have enough respect for his suit to be played by Statham. I can't think of a movie yet where he was a character that wasn't concerned about the condition of his suit.

Teenage Mutant Team Ninja Turtles Bros Brawl

After reading what he said, he is basically saying it's a bad idea because Smash clones do not perform well in the market place. I'm not seeing where he is wrong there. Also, I'd imagine it does get increasingly frustrating for TMNT fans after the various number of bomb out games. And the main reason Smash clones fail is well, cause Smash is the top of that mountain and those who want to play Smash just get Smash. If the game isn't another lazy slap together job then maybe it does well but still not very likely. But if it's another one similar to Melee, it's another seriously major blow to a Turtles franchise that is more than likely already dead.

Looks like Jacobs is out against the Cowboys. That could really hurt the Giants and help Dallas as they try to hold off the flood of rushing teams.

    House Season 5

House was also extremely nice to Cuddy at the end with the "Merry Christmas Cuddy" instead of shredding her like always. Nice little subtle touch. The best part was him trying to be nice to the clinic patients and then basically screwing over some guy to get a present. The man is a Bond villain.

    NFL Week 15

If you didn't see him throwing Romo and Whitten under the bus after the last game, you were blind. And come to think of it, no, I don't recall T.O being seen with a woman. Actually, I don't recall T.O being seen outside of the locker room and his home. The guy is either low profile on a shocking level or he's a robot...or gay.

    NFL Week 15

I'll take Pacman finds Jesus, turns his life around and then is gunned down in a robbery. 1. MVP/OROY/DROY/COTY. Who you got in the discussion? MVP: Eli Manning (NYG), Drew Brees (NO), Kurt Warner (Arz), Adrian Peterson (MN), DeAngelo Williams (Car), and Michael Turner (Atl). No order at all here because I really don't know who I'd give it too. Peterson is carrying the Vikings on his back so I'd probably give him the edge when it comes down to my time to pick one. Brees AND Warner might break Marino's record though so how could I NOT include them? It's a long shot for both but still not impossible considering the offenses. OROY: Matt Ryan (Atl), Joe Flacco (Balt), Eddie Royal (Den), Matt Forte (Chi), Steve Slaton (Hou) and Chris Johnson (TEN)..that's in order. 3 through 6 is interchangable though, but I got the two quarterbacks right now on the next level but barely. Both have progressed much much quicker than I would have guessed in their first year. Ryan has already become the leader of the Falcons and with his better numbers, I still have him with the edge on Flacco. All six have been most impressive. Forte could easily jump right into the two slot after this week though. It's so tight that one bad game and any of the top two could fall to fifth and sixth on my board. DROY: Jerod Mayo (NE), Chris Horton (Was), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Ariz)..again, in order. None of the other rookies have impressed me as much as these three and Cromartie is more of a "eh, why not" selection. COTY: I edited this cause I had a moron moment. Coach of the year, gotta go with Jeff Fisher. His team is winning with Kerry Collins after his starting quarterback almost went nuts. The Falcons went from nothing to something so Smith has done fantastic. Tom Coughlin has done amazing holding the Giants focus. Add in John Harbaugh for his job in Baltimore, Wisenhunt for Arizona and even Timlin in Pittsburgh. Still, giving it to Fisher but Coughlin and Smith are right there. 2. What is the most disappointing team in the league? Lot of teams have been disappointing. The Chargers have lost a lot of close games and a HUGE defensive piece but it's still a disappointment how they did. The Texans get a ground game and they are still miserable. But my pick is still the Lions. 0-13 is disappointing even when it's expected you will suck. And no one really expected the Lions to suck this badly. When you are calling Duante Culpepper out of retirement, you are the definition of the word disappointment. What's even MORE disappointing? They don't even know if a solid quarterback will be in the draft. 3. Many teams are already thinking about the offseason. The Seahawks, Niners, Rams, Raiders, Chiefs, Lions, Browns, Bengals, and Browns are all hopeless. Pick a team or two (or all of them) and turn them into winners this offseason. The Niners: The defense has shown signs that it can do the job if it isn't left on the field or left in a bad spot because of a stupid quarterback decision. If Shaun Hill is the guy, announce it and be done with it. Find a receiver to go with Jason Hill to give him more options to work with. Sign Sig to a long term deal cause if you don't, someone else is going to snag him up. Draft a right tackle to work on the other side of Staley to sure up the line a lot, find a receiver in the second round to either be the three guy or the #2 with Hill (if Crabtree is there, grab him in the first, but he'll be gone). If Eugene Monroe is there, I'd take him and stick him on the other side of Staley. That is a big quick line that can work. The Niners have ALWAYS been just that close but things never pan out. 4. How have you felt about the officiating this season? Eh, they are doing what they can. They are missing a lot of obvious interference calls and calling ticky tack shit but I blame that more on the rules that have forced them to stare at guys to make sure they aren't breathing on offensive players. 5. Kick someone in the NFL right in the dick. Who are you picking and why? Jerry Jones. For being Jerry Jones again and doing what he always does when his team loses a tough one. Jerry always thinks he's the god damn answer and it's gotten annoying. Hell, I'm sure if Plax doesn't go to prison that he'll be a Cowboy next season with Roy Williams. Just everything about that Texas fuck makes me want to kick him in the dick.

hmm..I cant see him going to the Nationals. Who else is gonna offer that kind of money? The money maybe other teams would..but the years? None. No other teams will be that crazy. Also Cesar Izturis? Jesus, I'd rather have Hairston back than see Izturis again. Did the Orioles get a shortstop prospect with talent for Hernandez? Please tell me they did.

    Heroes

The cutie pie blonde has gotta be speedy or icy. Elle had her head sliced open, a heavy bleeding to death type wound to the leg and she was set on fire. If they bring HER back from the fucking dead then I am walking. And who says they have to remove the bullet? No one seems to care if Arthur is dead. Icy bitch (also a blonde) and Boring Guy are now in control of Captain AmericaFUCKYEAH program and they made it clear they didn't want him alive. Spock is back to killing folks who he feels betrayed him, which means Mama P is next in line you would THINK, and he just you know killed him. No one has a reason to remove the bullet from his head. He's dead. When he died what was left of the Cat floated out of his body. He's a corpse.

Jay Leno to remain with NBC

A man can dream of a world without Jimmy Fallon on television for Christmas can't he? Cause next year, that dream is dead.

Jay Leno to remain with NBC

Anything that screws Jimmy and keeps him off television cannot be seen as a complete negative. However they are screwing over Conan pretty bad here since now the old Tonight Show fans will just watch the 10pm version and probably blow off Conan. I wonder if Conan losing to Craig Ferguson in the ratings made them a little leery of making him the main man.

    The College Football Thread 12/3 - 12/6

Because Florida is the SEC winner and one of the best teams in the nation while Ohio State is that team that got into the BCS because they have more fans equaling more money than an undefeated Boise State. That's not even a shot at Ohio State, it's just who they are this year. Ohio State is not the Big Ten champ and have two losses so it is pretty much set Texas is supposed to hammer them. Florida vs Oklahoma is it. There is no reason to split the title no matter what happens. Splitting the title will just be the voters way of wasting their time trying to stick it to a BCS system that is going nowhere. Texas having beat Oklahoma is now an afterthought. This is the system, we are stuck with it.
