  1. The hospital that kept Andy Kaufman overnight after the Jerry Lawler piledriver must be pissed by now! In Memphis at the time? They were probably fucking honored. Plus death is alot different from neck injury.
  2. Let me break out the world's smallest violin for them. Then let them grumble while they cash their checks. I'm tired of hearing how upset they are when they do nothing. Absolutely nothing. They should just take the rape of their friend's memory like men. Rey could have said, "no" but he didn't. He said, "ok boss, sounds great". And that's what they all say. They will call him brillant and genuis to his face and then grumble like big shots when he's not around. It's became a bigger joke than using Eddie's memory.
  3. Ok, that's funny. WWE has fallen so far down the cool ladder, they can't even get AJ to come now.
  4. Well shit, now I don't think they blew any calls, at least not of the big three mentioned.
  5. What's awesome is they might be doing a heart attack angle.
  6. If any part of the ball goes even barely goes across the front of line, which is like a invisible wall to the ceiling, then by NFL rules it's a touchdown. So if even the tip of the ball barely grazes the line, even if in the air, then the play is a touchdown. That rule and the tuck rule need to be changed. Badly. Cause they are soo hard to define and it relies way too much on judgement.
  7. The Saturday slot is nothing more than a replay spot. Why they couldn't use it for another show, I'm not sure myself unless that's just the way SpikeTV wants it or they cannot do it just yet..but that makes no sense. I guess SpikeTV doesn't want them to make two hours of original programming. I have no idea.
  8. The pass interference was the right call, most sane people have let that one go. They saw the replay and saw the defender get stiff armed back a step so he couldn't go for the ball. Which is illegal and is the very definition of interference. You cannot shove someone back or out of the way to make a play unless the ball is tipped. If you don't think the Jackson play was pass interference, then I have no idea what to tell you. The holding call on the Stevens interception, he hooked the defender near the neck. Any official is going to flag that. Hell, they flagged it earlier in the game on the Steelers (I rewatched the game TWICE last night out of boredom, damn fast Super Bowl). The Stevens fumble wasn't a catch and fumble, he never had control so that was a good call. The only play they might have blow was the Big Ben sneak, I think they blew it but after seeing the replay 100 times, I can see why he didn't overturn it. It's just so damn close and the "Ball just has to cross a little" rule is flimsy. They really should make it the ball has to get into the end zone, not on the line. Most of the NFL's troubles now seem to be the rules that SHOULD be detailed and easy just aren't. And some that should be more difficult and harder to define just are too damn simple.
  9. Al was awesome, too bad he died before he got to Horrorfind. Guy ruled, even carried a gimmick.
  10. I just found the tomato soup discussion more interesting. Food was more important than the topic, it was lunch time god dammit. Plus after a serious of posts by a certain poster in other threads that about drove some of the WWE regular posters up a wall (not me though, that guy is hilarious in how serious he takes his gimmick), I think they needed a thread to contain the goofness and relax for an hour. I considered it a break room thread. It's not like the serious threads get destroyed. Hell, there are plenty of threads in the WWE with serious discussion near the top. Everyone got an hour break to have some fun and then back to serious discussion. Seems reasonably fine to me.
  11. He'd have to make it so that the real police were not involved. Cause his bullshit excuse would just piss them off more and the Government would use it as an excuse to take him down for getting away with the roids scandal. Course as senile as he's become, he might think he is above the law and try it someday.
  12. Would you care to explain how Monty comes first but HE'S the clone? The fuck? I'm starting to think you are a gimmick. Fuck that, I'm now 100% POSITIVE you are a gimmick. I'll figure out who after I put together my proof.
  13. Man, V-8 is pure crap to me. I had a couple of drinks and wanted to get sick. There is just something about cold tomato that makes me ill. Not when it's in ketchup form, then it's great. But V-8 can go to hell.
  14. Bullshit. Now everyone's talking like the Seahawks are a bad team again? If they're such a terrible team, then the whole NFL sucks and you should just give up on football. Sadly, Seattle has to take what they are getting because they sucked on the biggest stage of them all. Truthfully, I think they are one of the best in the league. But it's hard to defend them when they get in the Super Bowl and end up looking like Texas A&M beat them all up in the locker room just so they could play the game under the 12th man banner. The Raiders, the Giants and the Falcons all suffered the same fate. They got called soft and overrated following the Super Bowl loss. The sad thing is they fought back against the detractors by royally sucking the next season. Seattle has to answer back with a run at least deep into the 2006-2007 playoffs.
  15. well sure, grilled cheese and a whole bag of doritos works for me. Fuck, I forgot about the Doritos. I once ate Grilled Cheese with stewed tomatos. That was nice. Doesn't work with cold tomato though, taste like shit in bread then.
  16. I need my tomato soup with crackers on top and grated cheddar cheese. That's a damn good bowl of soup if I can't make a grilled cheese sandwich. Can you really eat grilled cheese without tomato soup? And just for "topic", Masters in the ring.
  17. It's true in any sport. If a man/team is on top too long, even if the fans loved them at first they start to hate them with a passion that makes you scratch your head. If you hold a belt for longer than two months, eventually the crowd will start to turn on you or stop caring because they have seen you do the same shit over and over again. It doesn't matter who is on top, eventually the fans have enough.
  18. I can even let the hold go because his arm comes up too close to the throat of the defender. If the guy is being hooked near his neck, you gotta call it even if it looks tacky. The Big Ben touchdown I still think was a very bad call but I was kinda "go either way" when the game was on. I thought it should have been overturned and Pittsburgh should have went on 4th and inch. And no one made Hasselbeck throw a dying duck into triple coverage on third down. He could have hit a little pass and set up a FG to bring them within one with a whole 12 minutes to go. Instead he lofted it up, that's his fault for doing something stupid. And Jackson was stupid for doing what he did in front of an official. And Stevens was open all game and he dropped three big ones. Seattle lost of their own stupidity, not some kind of phantom conspiracy. Just like New England lost in Denver because of their own stupidity mixed with bad calls. Just like Tampa lost because of their own stupidity. The one team in the playoffs who overcame shit calls in their game went on to win the Super Bowl. Seattle has already accepted they lost so why can't everyone else. If Seattle played perfect and the calls beat them, fine. But Seattle looked like shit.
  19. It sounds good for us smarks, but I think fans would shit on it. They would turn on Christian. Especially if it's face vs face...Orlando would shit all over it just to be fucking "cool". If they turn on him, you make it the start of his heel run. It works anyway you want to play it. It's not like the feud wouldn't happen for months from now. Anyone who holds the belt longer than three months will have fans turn on him. It just happens.
  20. Not to mention after Sting gets done feuding with Jarrett, you could have Christian decide to give Sting one final shot at the title. Almost a "a chance for the glory once again" and have Christian beat him with a handshake at the end. No interference, no false finishes, just a straight up match filled with near falls and close escapes. The one thing I have a question about is this. Is SPIKETV and TNA going to really promote the move or is it just going to be a, "SURPRISE! We're on Thursday!" kind of move that Spike has been known to do?
  21. He could punt the ball really awesome. That's all I got.
  22. Dom Davis could be a good addition (if the Texans let him go) or maybe a second-third rounder if you can find a steal. If you had a quarterback to give up, the Seahawks could get Ricky Williams from the Dolphins I'd bet. Plus Jamal Lewis days in Baltimore are basically over and done. No one knows what will become of the Larry Johnson-Priest Holmes deal in KC either. The good news is if you need a running back, this year is definately the year to need one. Lots of quality backs will be out there.
  23. There is a Seattle suicide joke there but I'll be damned if I am able to make it.
  24. The actual newspapers got their information from the hospital where he died. So unless you think a hospital was willing to throw their name into the toilet to promote a wrestling angle, it doesn't work as a theory. If no hospital was involved? Yeah, I could see Vince being sleazy enough to do it. Plus you have the guys who AREN'T employed by the WWE who have nothing to gain by going along with the angle. It's not an angle, Vince and Co really are scumbags who are just using Eddie to try desperately to get Orton heat. And I'm not sure, but I know in some states that faking your death is against the law.
  25. So would someone like to tell me what their definition of offensive pass interference IS? You had a receiver, IN FRONT OF AN OFFICIAL, use his arm to stiff arm the defender BACK a full step (watch the defender, he gets pushed BACK a full step) those making it impossible for the defender to go for the ball and you DON'T see that as pass interference. So what exactly IS your defintion? I have zero love for the Steelers but I want someone to explain to me HOW that is NOT interference? He pushed off a stationary defender to get open in the end zone. I will not argue the Big Ben touchdown cause I found the call horrible but it was third down so who knows what happens. Still a bad call but if no touchdown, it's on the half inch line and the Steelers would have went.
