What other shows have been picked up this way in recent years? I can't keep up with a majority of US television. I'd like to think they have a decent shot, seeing as AD is so loved by the critics, a station having it would only help them, even if the ratings aren't the best. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Grounded for Life was a FOX show that went to WB. If I remember correctly, How I met your mother was originally set to be a Fox show but they didn't like the pilot. Course Buffy went from WB to UPN, but that didn't work too well. It's happened before, just not many have been successful. I think JAG is the only one recently that made a move and survived a long time.

Curtis Martin does not have another year left in him. Vernon is good, but they are in desperate need of another running back. I can see Vernon being a top ten pick but I cannot see the Jets passing up a running back. I think they might be able to find a steal in the second or third round and I don't think Williams is going to be an answer in the NFL cept maybe as a Sproles kick returner like player. I don't know, I just can't see the Jets waiting to the second or third round.

Looks like according to Tenay, the match was never intended to be cut down. Odds are they were going to cut down on the rest of the matches a little bit, like a minute or so each, but the ref didn't hear what they wanted. A rematch of Liger/Joe would be cool for Impact.

I'm shocked Florida State held on this long. They have no talent or depth in the secondary and the offense is being led by a freshman who is very Chris Rix like at times. Miami should pick them apart. And I want Alabama and Miami to win out just so the BCS can rank the undefeated Tide in fourth and the SEC can blow a gasket. Wilbon is right, we need a major conference to drop out of the BCS. I know the SEC doesn't have the balls, but it would be nice if they did.

My thoughts on AD getting canned:
